Missing order/ unresponsive customer service

I ordered two new bikinis and paid for UPS 3-day select. My orders were due to arrive on 6/23 and they are missing. I’ve reached out to Bamba via Instagram DMs and email multiple times and have not heard since 6/23 when they refunded my shipping said logistics was looking into it. It’s been over 10 days since my orders and I have no bikinis or idea if/when they will arrive, no refund on the product itself. Terrible customer service and no phone number to contact!!

Awful company

Awful company. I’m 5”1, size UK 6 and I’m having to buy a large because the bikini tops simply don’t fit. I am tiny for my height. On top of this, the customer service is APPALLING. I sent back my items as per the email, but apparently they have to receive the items by that specific date even though there is no way of tracking when your order will arrive. I wrote to them in an email and their tone was disgusting, especially by Silva.

Hi Sophia! I am sorry to hear this! Our sizing does run small so we suggest to size up if in between sizes. We also have a size chart for all the measurements. We allow a large 60 day return window for any orders, so there should be no issues with the return time frame x BAMBA

I would give this company zero stars is…

I would give this company zero stars is I could. The sizing is to fit dolls and I’m a small size 6. And the exchange process is a nightmare as they don’t refund. Customer service is shocking to say the least as they take days to get back to you. Won’t be shopping this brand again.

For this reason we so advise to size up if unsure. Our customer service replies to all emailed received in 24 hours. Love their bikinis and have ordered a…

Love their bikinis and have ordered a pair in the past however the colour of the bikini after wearing has tuned into a much lighter colour which is disappointing. I have been eyeing out a different pair for a long time now and decided I would treat myself as they are expensive. I am a size 10 in everything I buy which also states online size 10 is a Medium which I ordered. The medium in the top and bottom are super small and tight which is a shame considering all the costs and now with having to exchange and re order in different sizes which is going to be about 60-80$ on top of the bikini itself. It has ended up being super expensive and am scared to re order in a different size in case this happens again. Customer service was great and fast to reply it’s just a shame all of this happened in the first place

With sizing we go off the Australian standard, which we state is smaller than usual and to go up if unsure. The next size should be a perfect fit! xx BAMBA

LOVE

The quality is amazing took maybe a week to get to me, the fit is great i ordered a small in both and it fit perfect {i'm 125 pounds and 5"9with a relatively straight build} i would totally buy from this compony again.

Not worth your money & time - Cheap

I ordered the moss dress to Canada and the SHEIN dupe I owned years ago looked better than this. The quality is definitely not worth what they charge this brand is for people who don’t mind wasting their money on cheap items and being disappointed. They also have hidden duties you have to pay on top of the expensive order being delivered they don’t make it obvious to you and free shipping is if you spend like $400 not worth the hustle buy elsewhere. Making a mental note to neverrrr buy from them again.

Worst Shopping Experience – Avoid Bamba Swimwear

Very disappointing experience. I paid for DHL Express expecting fast delivery, but not only did I not receive my parcel on time, I was completely misled about the shipping and clearance process. This resulted in unnecessary delays and a lot of personal time wasted.

I had to take it upon myself to contact multiple DHL departments, often spending hours on the phone trying to get answers—while Bamba Swimwear remained mostly unresponsive. As the customer, I ended up doing far more communication and problem-solving than the sender, which is unacceptable. After all this effort, I still have not received the parcel. Extremely poor service—I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them.

Hi Eirini! I can understand your frustration and I know you were needing all items with urgency, we did contact DHL as promptly as possible and provided them with evidence to escalate this case.

Unfortunately in rare cases like this DHL does take a few days to resolve due to their large internal stystem, but I can assure you our team was in contact and pressing urgency every step of the way.

With this in mind, we organised for the parcel to be returned back to us and we have issued you a REFUND for the price paid for both items. An email has been sent to confirm this.

I apologize for this experience and I hope you can understand that we have prioritized you as a BAMBA customer and have made sure we have an appropriate resolution, BAMBA xx

Poor Quality for high end price point

Super disappointed when I received my package. I ordered the malibu top and elle bottoms which came out to be $150 usd and they look so cheap. The fabric is thin and scratchy. The bottoms have inconsistent seam allowance. Honestly, I would pick a different place to shop from or see if you can buy these pieces resale at a better price point.

Don't bother

I bought a pair of bathers from Bamba Swim in 2019 and wore them to death! I was inlove with them, but the stretch has gone, understandably. I repurchased them. The website put in half my old address and half my new one, I instantly emailed the company to try and rectify it - they said they couldn't and directed me to DHL. Not overly great customer service. I get being boxing day, it was busier - but working in retail myself, I know this doesn't take long! I then received my bathers... I ordered a size small (I am generally an XS), they are TINY! I have never been a medium in anything. Ever. Not great for the self confidence! My last Bamba swim pair were an XS. Clearly, this is not australian sizing. I decided to measure them, and they weren’t even within the size guide on the website! Not only this but the sticker inside the bathers has left marks all in the inside, and the sewing looks unfinished. There is obviously a shift in quality since I purchased last. Overall, really disappointed and not even going to bother emailing Bamba as they didn't reply to me anyway. Hopefully this review helps those before choosing to purchase.

Once shipped this is passed on to DHL. Our sizing has not changed and is based on the standard Australian swim sizing. Some styles run smaller than others, and your previous cut may have stretched with wear. We have extensive QC and pride ourselves on high quality. Bamba is soooooooo helpful and there team is super super lovely. I didn’t think they could help me out as it was a bit of a hard problem but they did and they replied so fast and they were super lovely.

Lazy customer service don’t care about customer experience

Made a mistake on my purchase, emailed the team a minute from placing the order to see if it can be corrected to just be sent a template email saying they can’t help me do a return, which I didn’t even ask for. The laziest most useless customer service, didn’t read my email, I needed a small detail changed in my order before it shipped - which they still haven’t done! And was told it’s against their policy. A waste of time and money at $70 a piece, shop at any of their competitors like Sommer Swim, Myra, Sir the label who have the same price points and actually care about keeping their customers and want to help them.

Costly returns

I purchased the 'Ringleader' top and the quality was not up to standard and had no support so I had to try a different item. I was under the impression it was an Australian company, as it says "Australian owned and made", but when returning I had to pay $40 to send it to Singapore making the bikini top cost me $129 for something that is frankly low quality for what I paid.

Won't provide store credit

Purchased a skirt on Sunday afternoon and I meant to purchase the top. Sent a DM, email and a message on the chatbot Monday morning first thing to explain it was a mistake and I wanted to get the top (which is more expensive as well) and was told it's already on the way (no tracking provided / it's been hours later and still haven't received any updates) and it's final sale and I wouldn't be able to get a store credit. Understood if it had been on it's way already but it feels like they just want to get rid of the skirt. Probably won't purchase again as they seem very strict with refunds / store credits

Soft, Stylish, and Totally Satisfied with Bamba Active Wear

I purchased a swimsuit last week and I've tried to send multiple emails with no response. I purchased the swimsuit for an upcoming cruise and will not receive the item in time unless I upgrade shipping. My order still says it hasn't been shipped yet. Is this website legit?
