Anglian Water Omdömen 

Had to contact Anglian Water about the location of my water meter. There is a ring back facility that is very useful. The agent was brilliant, sorted out the account, gave us the information we needed and was friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

Today I returned home to find anglian water has installed a smart water meter expressedly against my wishes, clearly and previously revealed to them. They have subsequently broken the law by violating customers rights afforded by the law, under the law. This is typical anglian water, totally ignoring customer rights and bulldozing over individual wishes, thus victimisation is the name of the game for anglian water.
Taking this matter further now.

Disgraceful that we can’t use hosepipes yet Mark Thurston the CEO gets 1.3 million in awards - disgraceful - they should sort out all the leaks and infrastructure BEFORE they take money themselves

Exceptional service deserves recognition.

We recently moved into a 50+ year-old bungalow and noticed a terrible smell in our back garden. After investigating, we discovered that the sewage inspection covers at the side and at the back of our property had corroded so badly that they had developed large holes in them. You can imagine the unpleasant odour escaping from them!

I reported the issue to Anglian Water on Tuesday this week. Wednesday morning, an engineer visited to inspect the problem and measure the covers. Within half an hour of him leaving, I received both an email and a phone call to say that a team would be with me first thing on Thursday morning to replace them.

True to their word, they arrived as promised and fitted the new covers. The difference is incredible—we can now open the windows on that side of our home and sit in the garden enjoying fresh air instead of sewage smells.

In a time when we often hear complaints about customer service, I think it’s only fair to recognise outstanding service when we receive it. Thank you, Anglian Water, for dealing with this so quickly and professionally. It is very much appreciated.

I went to use the WhatsApp to ask a question if I could use a power washer from a bucket.

It replied saying were only open between working hours. It's WhatsApp so I thought that approach was strange. I waited until it was within the working hours and it said the same, unless I changed my query to another option. Seems they're blocking or not allowing certain queries.

9Received bill, standing charge- £60 - Water used charge -£20 their meter digitally read..! Lest we forget their Mantra " love every drop " DON'T attempt to save money or water via this mob , you cough up for the car washes & A/W constant leaks... phone them.. forget your data protection they want to know what you had for your last birthday box,a really abysmal service..

Hose pipe ban already due to lack of investment in infrastructure. How much bonus was fat cat directors paid this year in basically failing. Where I used to live we called it a irigation system not a water main due to the leaks we had. They closed the same piece of road 4 times in 12 months .

Try saying NO to all new houses if you can't cope in the summer for failure of enough reservoirs to cope!

After another bill increase managers and directors getting large bonuses and increases badly maintained water pipe that are being constantly dug up and bodged due to leaks ,we the minions have now been issued a hosepipe ban great job anglian water on further investigation anglian water loose 185million to 195 million ltrs a day yes thats right a day 66 billion ln a year and they still persecute the homeowner who pays massive water bills something needs to be done

closed roads at short notice blocks of the main road from spalding to bourne with now dates showing length of time closed or when it will be closed.. no duty of care for the public concern they just dont care about who and how they effect peoples lives.. I understand these works need carrying out but the muppets doing the work leave road closed signs up for weeks when no work is carried out just confuse the public so we have no trust in what we are seeing... SORT YOUR LIFE OUT and care for the customers and public you affect..

Striclty as a water provider, they prvide water. I've never been killed by drinking it.

As a corporate citizen they are evil crooks, doing what all the other evil crooks are doing - spending public money on huge bonuses, neglecting the water networks, forcing the public to invest further for them, and illegally dumping huge amounts of sewage into our rivers and seas.

If you work for Anglian Water, then you work for a monster - perhaps it's time to consuider a change.

Now seven months into suffering Anglian Water's deafeningly loud loose manhole cover outside our house. They refuse to repair it as it is 'not dangerous' despite the insomnia and continued anxiety it causes. Must be the one of the most arrogant companies in the UK. The sooner water companies like these clowns exemplify are renationalised, the better.

Had a direct debit set up , Anglia Water cancelled it and I didn't find out until a few months later as I got a bill
Went to set up a new direct debit, but despite living on my own and the last three months bills being £40 a month, they insisted the minimum direct to pay was £72. Ridiculous. Now they get no money until I absolutely have to pay them. Customer services didn't do much either and the WhatsApp service is really annoying and convoluted. And don't get me started on the amount of leaks in my area! Time for water companies to be renationalised

We are only 2 peoples lives in our home. Myself and my wife. But every month water bill comes £52. That's each person spending £1 daily for water only. We're working in private health services and 12 hours duty. After that we are using water. Then how the water costs this much. We're not using water for washing cars or using for watering plants. We thinking If a family of 2 children and parents then the water bill goes more than £100 for 4 members. The low and middle income families are afraid of using water due to this terrible bill. We don't know who is deciding the water price. The Government or the water company deciding their own prices as they like to make huge profits.
In Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar like that countries are desert places and very difficult to get water. So they are built "DeSalination plants" to make Sea water to convert into drinking water. In Arab countries we think water prices is not this much higher prices than in UK. In UK a huge percentage of our hardworking money goes to water bill only. Our Gas and electricity bills together comes below water price or lower than water bill.
In the UK nature is giving lots of pure water as rain continously. And a lot of rivers flowing through UK filled with water. Anglian water is not making water by fusing Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms. Then why Anglian water is changing a huge water bill to customers monthly?. All the living creatures including humans,plants,animals,birds in the planet Earth needs air and water to live and survive. So its shameful to make huge profits by selling drinking water for huge prices. .🙏🙏🙏.

They are scaming me i used to pay £23 then it went up to £48 so i applied for a tariff to get a cheaper bill and it also said on their website that they have an higher % discount so i applied for it and my bill went even higher up to £68 this is crazy and they said they wont be able to do anything till next year they also increase bills whenever they want and Icannot change water companies because it is the only water company in my area

Total S/ show since April had a water issue after over 20 technicians and believe me some of the rudest people you would ever meet and some good ones .
They run an overland pipe to get me a supply.
They traced to issue to be around the meter which ment pulling up and area around my meter box . Not an issue till it come to putting it back together. Well a 2 year old could have done a better job .
They had either lost or miss cut the blocks and they went to buy some replacements.
The only thing I can imagine is they bought them for a bet and installed them . Completely the wrong colour and style block . But by pouring sand over it and saying it’s finish is how they do it . They couldn’t even cut a block straight and when they cut the my don’t use water suppression as my new car can be a witness to . Over all don’t let them near your house if you value it . Absolute cowboys .
