Amber Windows Omdömen

Had our new front door fitted today by Julian and Steve. Arrived on time efficient and professional installation. Door looks amazing a vast improvement on our previous one. Julian even filled in the 2 gaps either side of the door which had been in an eyesore for a while.

Julian and Steve very good at what they do. Prompt and have done a fantastic job

Second time using Amber Windows. Very good experience from sales, installation and aftercare. Kevin Kelsey was our fitter for five windows all upstairs. He was very punctual, extremely tidy and proficient in his work. The work he did was first class and I would no hesitation in recommending the company and indeed Kevin to do work for any prospective customer.

I had a knock on the door just over 12 months ago from a sales rep for Amber Windows, I wish I had ignored the door. I explained to the rep that I was not in a position to do any improvements, yet he still booked a visit to give me a quote because the quote would be valid for 18 months at least, a guy turned up to do the quote and seemed surprised when I asked how long the quote was valid for, his reply, 6 months so clearly lie number one, I told him not to bother as we weren’t going to get any work done in that time and he went away. That’s when the call’s started. I have stated numerous times my position but they still keep calling trying to pressure me to agree to something I don’t want to the point that I had 2 calls today one from a withheld number who hung up on me then from their listed number who after I had informed him I would never have any work done by them ever asked “should I call you back in the new year”. Total pressure sell and lies from them, clearly no respect for my situation just because I dared to say no thanks.

Avoid this company if you value peace and quiet

Friendly and great on site service installation (Ian Reeves) Office keeps communications open and always ready to discuss any queries.

Excellent experience with amber windows from start to finish. Our window fitter Kevin Kelsey was exceptional from start to finish we are very happy

Malachi, James and Julian have done an amazing job fitting a whole house of windows and doors throughout the house. Great communication throughout, very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

Julian and Steve turned up in time, did a good work, great lads, thank you so much!

I honestly wish I had never opened the door.

I received an unexpected knock from Amber Windows & Doors and agreed to listen. I was then subjected to an extremely pushy sales approach. I said NO clearly and more than once yet that apparently wasn’t enough. Instead, the salesperson kept coming back with discount after discount, trying to manufacture a reason for me to change my mind and buy the door there and then.

That’s not what I would call a “no obligation quote.” When a customer says no, accept it and leave.

But the worst part came afterwards.

While the salesperson was on the phone to the office discussing the visit, the office representative proceeded to bad mouth me over the phone. I was still sitting there in MY OWN HOUSE and could hear what was being said.

Absolutely disgraceful.

If I don’t want your product, that’s my choice. I don’t owe you a purchase simply because you’ve spent time giving me a quote. If I wanted the door that day, I would have signed up for it. I shouldn’t have to endure a barrage of discounts and pressure simply because I have the audacity to say no.

And to then criticise the customer behind their back when you’re still standing in their home is unbelievably unprofessional.

If this is how Amber Windows & Doors treat someone who doesn’t buy from them, I’d be very wary of what the experience is like once they’ve got your signature.

Don’t advertise it as a “no obligation quote” if saying no results in relentless pressure and disrespect.

Avoid. There are plenty of companies who can quote for a door without making you feel like you’re trapped into buying it. Can’t wait for the constant phone calls now!!

** AVOID! You’ve been warned **

Very pleased with the install. Ian Reeves was very fiendly and punctual .

Bad communication, inflexible on style of window-apparently sash hirns are "too hard to fit" !! Cut through a pipe and spilt solvent across the the bay window, floor now damaged but would not take responsibility or even pay an amount towards repairs. Installation team were nice, albeit clumsy but manager does not gave the aesthetic or commercial skills to be running this company Would not recommend .

A lovely job! Kevin Kelsey , the Fitter, was extremely hard working and accurate. He worked hard with fitting two lintels and he shows how quality in his work is paramount.
Great job!

Julian & Steve have been here for 5 days replacing all our windows and a couple of doors. We are very happy with the job they have done. They kept us informed throughout the job making sure we knew there plan of action. Any issues they discussed with us, not that there were many and they made sure we were happy with everything they did at the end of each day. They tied up after themselves and made sure the tools stored for the next day didn't get in our way. I will miss the 1980s background music. Thanks guys

My windows were fitted by Kevin kelsey who made a brilliant job .was very helpful.Taking my blinds down and replacing them.Leaving everything clean and tidy.

We had a specialist made arched UPVC front door in Chartwell green fitted yesterday. A few delays on production, but it was worth the wait in the end. Kevin came to do the fitting and did an amazing job. Very professional approach overall, and his experience showed through his attention to detail in the job. Overall very happy with the finished product.

Had my composite door installed today by Kevin Kelsey - It was certainly a tricky one due to some awkward angles and due to the age of the house, but very pleased with the final result! A much needed addition and something I've wanted to sort out for a long time.

Despite the difficulty, Kevin had no issues in taking extra time to make sure the install is finished to the best quality possible.

Ian reeves was amazing and was great company to talk to. He was very polite and went through everything with me and told me everything. A credit to the team

Happy to recommend Amber and Ian the installer they were friendly and professional from start to finish ..

Kevin Kelsey arrived bright and early to fit my windows. He was friendly polite and very knowledgeable. The work was carried out to a great standard. Any problems encountered were dealt with professionally and competently. I was very pleased and appreciated that he tidied up afterwards. A very good experience.
