Driver was running late.
Road closures made things worse but he redeemed himself by just getting to the station in time.
Extra stress you don’t need when you book a cab for a specific time to catch a specific train though.

Driver ripped me off. No way does it cost over a tenner to get from aldi to Saxonfields. I wont be using this company anymore. Disgusting, tried lying aswell. Said I told the office I had loads of bags. No I said I had alot of shopping. Told him I had to buy extra bags. And he parked half the carpark away from the shop. Roll on 2027, they will all be in gosport then.

Arrived on time

I use Alpha cars as my taxi service of choice. My personal experience has always been good . Booking a taxi with no problem, kept me informed of despatch, arrival and make of car . Drivers always polite and generally good on time .

I pre-booked a taxi and, on the day, I informed them to delay the pickup by one hour.

When the revised pickup time arrived and the taxi still hadn't turned up, I called for an update. Shortly after my call, the booking was cancelled.

If you were unable to provide the service, this should have been communicated clearly instead of leaving me waiting with no information.

I'm extremely disappointed with both the service and the lack of communication. The experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I will not be using this company again.

Awful customer service they just lie to you on the phone .
Allways late never on time .. they drivers dont even drive properly .
Its appalling. Called multiple times to ensure it was gonna be with me ! I would not recommend this company to anyone and i will never be using this service again .

UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID. They do not prebook your taxi no matter what time you call. I called at 12 for a taxi at 4pm. At 4:05 I called for them to tell me they’re finding me a driver now. I said why didn’t you prebook me a driver when I called at 12?! She was VERY RUDE. Said what do I expect. The minimum I expect is for you to do your job and book my taxi! 20 mins late & I Missed my appointment

Nice drivers but of all three recent trips where I was ready and waiting or early, I was charged a ‘waiting charge’ of up to £1.40 on top of my fare when there was zero waiting involved. I’ve contacted them to complain but they haven’t bothered replying so I’m leaving reviews to warn people to check your invoices and ask for this to be refunded if it’s an unjust charge. I won’t be using them again and will not be recommending them.

I have been taking cabs with Alpha Cars more, this year and Ive had no complaints ( all drivers were polite, punctual and I felt safe in their cars).

The recent cab driver was on time, polite, very patient and left such a positive impact that without a doubt Alpha cars reputation has been rectified in my opinion. I am disabled and felt safe and comfortable. Thank you Alpha cars for employing decent drivers.

Driver in a red Kia very bad driver and was rude to me talking in his own language he picked up from 35 aldwalk road going to admiral street and to top it off he basically nearly unalived me

Only book if not needing your lift on time, doesn’t matter when you book, even hours in advance, they’ll just show up whenever they want. Constantly taking on bookings they cannot do

I pre-booked a taxi with Alpha Cars the night before for 8am the next day, to take my Daughter to school because heavy rain was forecast and I don't have access to my car when my wife works 2 days a week. The taxi just didn't turn up, and there was no explanation. No contact whatsoever. This caused a lot of stress trying to get my daughters into school in the heavy rain. When I rang up to complain, they just said there wasn't enough drivers due to weather and school runs. But my daughter needed to go to school. I had pre-booked, does that NOT mean anything? Apparently not. They only allocate the drivers 15 minutes before the scheduled booking and suddenly realised there wasn't enough drivers. What is the POINT of pre-booking, it doesn't mean anything. Absolutely disgraceful service. I won't be using them ever again. They are on my Black LIst forever. Yours Disgruntled Crawley resident.
