This is a fraudulent company operating on Etsy, Ebay using PayPal. With many complaints and opened cases. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. REPORT AS SCAM.
Details:
Etsy Shop: silkstoreuz (Umid Sultanov) one of the operatives for this scam company. Goods ordered almost a year ago, PayPal charged immediately by WesternBid. Wrong goods sent at first, communicated with the seller multiple times, and he promised to re-send the goods. Still almost one year later no goods received. Working with Etsy to remove the fraudulent shop on Etsy operated under this company.
Also, when I called PayPal to report this transaction, they said that WesternBid had MANY complaints like this and they will be taking actions as well.

Update: The Etsy shop 'SilkStoreUZ' has 5-star reviews on Etsy and there are no negative reviews. We have checked the sales records and found that no customer named Sofie has made a purchase from this store.
Very Expensive Way of Paying
Very expensive way of paying. Beware if a Ukrainian seller on Etsy gives no other option than PayPal. You will be slugged by Western Bid. You won't know it until it shows up on your bank statement. Try to choose sellers who accept other forms of payment.
Note: Western Bid reply is not accurate. Most Ukraine sellers offer Visa card etc as a form of payment, along with PayPal. I have found if a seller restricts the form of payment to PayPal it is because they are linked to Western Bid. An extra charge, Not Included in the Invoice, is made to the buyer. This charge appears separately on the bank statement. It is Not Included with the various other charges, tax, postage etc. which go to make up the final amount from the seller. It is extra and above.
I don't care what threats Western Bid makes this is my experience. The last charge by them was approx AUD12. This charge was NOT listed on the seller's invoice. The seller is NOT transparent about using western bid and the charge invoked by them.

We would like to inform you that Etsy Payments, which offers multiple payment options, is not available for sellers from Ukraine. This payment method is restricted to certain countries only.
Secondly, we would like to assure you that Etsy does not impose any additional charges to buyers beyond the agreed upon price of the item and the associated fees for shipping, tax, and other charges. Any charges that appear separately on the bank statement are not related to Etsy and are not included in the final amount paid to the seller.
We would like to clarify that Western Bid does not impose any additional charges on buyers at any time. Our customers always pay the prices mentioned on the respective listings.
At Western Bid, we have no ability to levy extra charges, as we do not have access to buyers' credit card or bank account information. All payments are securely processed through Etsy Checkout, PayPal Checkout or eBay Checkout. As a buyer, you are not required to pay any additional fees to Western Bid; all fees are borne by the sellers connected to our e-commerce platform. If you see extra charges on your credit card bill, it might be currency conversion charges or international transaction charges imposed by your bank.
Lastly, we take false information and misleading statements very seriously as they can harm our reputation and the trust our customers have in us. Beware of Western Bid, Inc.
Western Bid is actually a rather shady company who acts as an intermediary between primarily Ukrainians and PayPal. The Better Business Bureau gives them an “F” rating. If you buy a product from a Ukrainian seller on the Internet, such as through Etsy, you will not see their company name until you have already paid for the item through PayPal. I bought a Nixie clock on Etsy from one of these Ukrainian so called “craftsmen”. The clock worked for only a few minutes. When both my son and I tried to change the settings in our attempt to get the clock to work, we were both shocked. The shocks resulted in no serious injuries, but when I received my shock, one of the tubes began to melt. It was an obviously defective product that I tried to return to a Florida address that turned out to be that of Western Bid. PayPal refused to give me a refund but I have appealed the decision. If you are thinking about buying a product through Etsy, be very careful or you may get ripped off by these dubious characters who will spend your money while soaking up the sun in Florida.

Regardless of the fact that my issue is with taro cards, dark forest on Etsy. My review still remains. You need to do something about the people that are selling things under your name.
It’s entirely understandable that western bid is not responsible for the sellers actions. However, you are getting a one star review as a result of the fact that, after reading all of the reviews that have come previously before mine this is a recurring theme that has yet to be dealt with. If you have sellers who are selling their products or services on Etsy, who are not actually delivering the items that the customers are buying then should they not be dealt with accordingly? Shouldn’t we as the customers be taken care of appropriately, it makes no sense to me how after repeated bad reviews over the various transactions that people have had with the seller that you sponsor or multiple sellers that you sponsor or whatever this situation is that there are others but nothing done and people like me are still getting scammed. Because that’s what this is. This is a scam. I ordered a set a Taro cards that came with a beautiful bag and a beautiful box for 4290 something on October 22 for my own birthday. I was given a tracking number and told that it would take a little longer than expected due to problems with USPS whatever cool. Then, after about a week of my item being stuck in Hollywood Florida, for some reason I complained I asked what was going on politely I asked why my pot my item had been sitting in transit for such a long time and was told that the reason why was because there was apparently an issue with the address she repeated my address back to me I said that was correct. I said you can go ahead and also put on there that it is the pink side of that duplex and that it is unit A and she said that that was the reason why I didn’t get my package delivered was because I didn’t include the unit number. However it’s funny to me that that’s what she wanted to use as the reason why I didn’t receive my package when I ordered two other items from two other shops on Etsy as well on the same day as well, and have long since I received both of them with that same exact address without the unit number my name is in my mailbox. I always get my mail. I never have any issues whether or not that the unit number is on there or not so with all that being said, I just think that if you do not want all of these poor reviews on your website and all these other review websites then maybe the issue isn’t with the customer complaining about the a seller that you cannot control and instead is about the fact that you keep allowing the same thing to occur repetitively there are reviews on here, claiming that your shops on Etsy are scams from years ago, so deal with that Western bid, instead of complaining about the negative reviews that you have “nothing to do with you“ because at the end of the day these are your people that you have signed a deal with these are the people that are representing you your company your incorporation, so yeah, you do have a lot to do with it. Fix the problem because this is highly unacceptable. It’s highly inappropriate. It’s highly unprofessional and it’s straight up scammy.

Extremely friendly and very responsive. I placed an order on Etsy through PayPal for a 86x57 painting and I received exactly what I asked for! There was a problem I had with shipping initially (a UPS error), but the vendor paid extra to make sure I received it in a timely manner. Painting was well packaged also.

Easy Transaction
I purchased two carved wooden walking sticks on Etsy.
The seller was located in the Ukraine and had dozens of positive reviews. I paid using PayPal; the transaction was facilitated by Western Bid on the Seller's side. I was a little concerned about dealing with the Ukraine, but there were no problems at all. The canes arrived in good time and without any damage. They were as advertised and I'm very happy with them.
