AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

When you place an order with this company it comes from a different location (usually China). The item arrives faulty and askes you return to their address (at your own costs). However, this is not the financial address as the payment is taken by Western Bid so even if you use Paypal your money is gone as the manufacturer address is totally different. I advise you AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Unless you are happy to loose your money.

These are total scam merchants - DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE! I ordered an item from a different company: Toddler-Towers.com. No mention that it was a foreign company. The money was then taken from my account through Westernbid.com. The Toddler-Towers.com website has a helpline (which doesn't work) and an email address for customer support (which - unsurprisingly - doesn't work). It's a clever scam but it is a SCAM. Be very careful when ordering anything!

This is a SCAM company. I am sorry I didn't read the reviews before ordering. I ordered something from Ukranian site. They send me wrong items which are even defective.
I raised this with the seller and they sais they have sent me a similar item. This was shocking!! Now they want me to return the items but refuseto cover the return cost. The items were delivered from Ukraine but now they ask me to send them to USA. The return cost is more than the items. This is now raised with PayPal.
Stay away from this company.

Excellent product/some links to work out

04/18/24 Update on rating and review - so I did finally receive the item and I have to admit that it is of excellent quality and really just very nice. Had I known when ordering that the shipping would take a long time, I think that would have been okay with it. The other thing that frustrated me is that JTNLAB.com who I ordered through (shipped by western bid) says to email/contact them at an email address listed on their website but it doesn’t work. Western bid shipped the product and that was a bit frustrating because their website didn’t show the tracking info for a while and it also doesn’t seem to work on a mobile deviceI just wish both companies would clean these items up - let customer know up front shipping does take a while and get a working email address listed on their website and let people know western bid does not work on a mobile device. In any case I changed my review/review because the product is very nice and it was packaged well and did ultimately arrive so I feel it’s fair to give an update

Original review - Normally I check reviews for a company before ordering but unfortunately did not exercise my normal protocol when ordering a weekly wooden pill box. I’ve tried communication with company and the website address showing to what email address to contact and does not work. Tried calling, no answer. Still have not received the item that I ordered on March 16th. Disappointing and not sure I’ll get my money back but I did escalate to PayPal and Western Bid finally responded providing a tracking number that didn’t work for a few weeks. I still have an open case but it has been an unpleasant experience. They have responded to other reviews that they take all these reviews seriously. Obviously not seriously enough because I’m experiencing what many others have.

I just passed through this page and couldn't remain indifferent to what I saw in the comments. For several years, I have been consistently buying products from Ukrainian manufacturers on Etsy who work through WesternBid. All the items I purchased were delivered even in the conditions of the war in Ukraine. Only twice I really did have to contact WesternBid by email, but my messages were not ignored. Indeed, they do not provide comments regarding the details of the products since they are not sellers, but they helped me to obtain contacts of the original manufacturer who clarified all the questions I had. I also once requested information about the tracking number of my package, and I received a comprehensive response.
I am curious why I see so many negative reactions here about the company. Who left them? Just out of curiosity, I visited the profile of the user who left the most aggressive comments. It seems that this user is engaged in fraudulent activities, purchasing goods or services and then blackmailing companies and shops with negative reviews to get refunds. Please, check for yourselves.
I believe that WesternBid has become a victim of deliberate bulling by the fraudster. I also believe that Trustpilot, in this case, was used as a platform for blackmailing and as a tool for implementing fraudulent schemes. I deeply regret about this."

Disappointed customer

Wow! I was going to purchase something through Western Bid but saw their terrible reviews about how their customer service never bothers to respond to legitimate concerns. We were so looking forward to making a big purchase and I had a question on one of the items. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still tried to reach out. As the other reviewer said, no one picked up the phone or responded to my inquiry. This seems to be a common issue with Western Bid. I looked on their company LinkedIn and I don't know how they are a Florida company except their 10 employees are all based in Ukraine. Seems pretty sketchy. I will spend my money elsewhere!

another review update for their non existent customer support. clearly other customers are experiencing the same disgusting issues with western bid. this is a phony scam shell company that i'm pretty sure is laundering money through it as a front. they still refused to refund me a proper amount despite the product i purchased causing health hazards. everyone should AVOID. they do NOT respond even though they keep saying they would. AVOID ALL THEIR UKRANIAN SELLERS AND WESTERN BID ENTIRELY.

update to add: i wouldn't have to keep leaving reviews IF THEY JUST RESPONDED TO MY 10+ emails to begin with! I have already provided all the specifics and they have my order #. they are LYING and pretending to be the victim. why would i publicly leave my personal address and email address on a review? especially when i've provided it to them numerous times via e-mail already. i've detailed everything with my order YET THEY STILL REFUSE TO REFUND ME A PROPER AMOUNT. $50 does NOT make up for all the issues we have been facing with the produce we purchased. it is not "overwhelmingly unspecific." they're lying through their teeth and they can't even get customers names right. mr CJ??? No Reply After Two Packages I Did Not Order From Western Bid

I have received two packages from this company that I did not order. They are some kind of leather wire holder. There is a QR code of some seller that I did not order from. I am afaid that the QR code might have a virus on it. I have no record of an order on ETSY or Ebay. I tried to contact Western Bid by phone and text. You can't leave a message. I tried to send email to email found online-No Reply. Sure seems shady to me. Hopefully, I have not been charged for these items.

Great service and tools for sellers.

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews.
I work with this company since their foundation (and worked with these people even before this, when they had different name). Nothing to complain at all. Great service, wide choice of useful tools for sellers. The company becomes better every year introducing new tools and options.
It seems some people just don't understand what this company do, and accuse it for actions of 3rd parties.
Yes, they made some mistakes working with me too. But all cases were solved quickly and honestly. Lost packages were refunded. Wrong packages were re-shipped at their own expense. Actually, I do much more mistakes myself than they do.
If you live in real world instead of your perfect dreams, you should admit that Western Bid one of the best (the best in my personal experience) companies in their market niche.
I wish prosperity to them and to all their clients and partners!

I orderd two leather pouches designed specifically to hold and protect Vernier Calipers. I ordered them on March 25th and received them on 12th April in Australia from the Ukraine. The workmanship was excellent and fit the instruments perfectly
