Recently had a survey completed by Stuart Boughey and I cannot recommend him enough! The survey was incredibly thorough and explained all concerns with the property clearly, as well as recommended remedial action to investigate before purchase. Following on from the survey, he called to discuss the challenges with the property in detail and provided excellent advice about where to find accredited trades to quote for repairs.

My only issue with Websters was the office had initially booked us in for almost 3 weeks after we had paid, after calling to cancel and rebook with another surveyor they managed to find a cancellation in 1 week - thankfully we stayed as Stuart Boughey provided an excellent survey and advice.

Joss recently looked at a house for us that we are hoping to buy. His help and advice gave us so much confidence to proceed knowing that there weren’t any significant problems with the property. I would be more than happy to recommend Joss and Websters surveyors to others looking to conduct a survey.

We engaged Websters to conduct a Level 3 Survey in respect of our house purchase. Dealing with the team at Websters has been a pleasure, they are responsive, professional and happy to answer any queries you might have. The Survey was completed in a timely fashion and the report issued within a week of the Survey talking place. The report was easy to read and extensive. Would highly recommend the team at Websters especially Natalie and Joss.

The survey report was very detailed, and clearly laid out - plus the drone photos were great for seeing the state of the roof.

Post-report, Joss was incredibly helpful in answering our follow-up questions, providing additional context and taking the time to ensure we understood everything.

We were looking for surveyors in Islington and had a few quotes but couldn’t decide.

We met Joss after he came to survey the house we were selling and after he conducted a thorough survey of our house, we knew he would do a good job for us at the house we were buying. It was a bonus that the price was one of the most competitive too.

I have messaged Joss since to ask a question or two on repairs and such and he’s always had time.

Highly recommended for our experience, we would hire again if we move.

Very impressed from the start with the booking process. The lady I spoke to explained the processed and asked if there were any concerns with the property that needed specific looking into. As we were discussing, she had already found the estate agent listing and the floorpan so we had a meaningful discussion when mentioning specific rooms. They had no problems with me adding to the list later, and always answered my emails straight away.
The survey itself was done by Joss Dunham who produced a comprehensive L3 report with lots of helpful photos. He also made time afterwards for a phone call so I could ask questions and expand my understanding on the things that mattered to me.

Got a L3 survey which was conducted by Stuart Boughey, with a quick turnaround. The report was extensive, detailing out every possible issue and associated next steps/clarifications (and more comprehensive than some of my friends had gotten from other surveyors). Stuart also jumped on a call with us to give us more context and advice around the findings. All of this is gold as we are FTBs and are on a steep learning curve. Other staff members like Ade and Natalie were also very helpful with their quick responses. Would strongly recommend Websters for home purchase surveys.

Professional service from start to finish. Excellent responsive communication from Reina and then received the level 3 survey report from Joss who was also willing for a follow-up call out of hours around my work to answer further queries.

I've just had a level 3 survey done using Stuart Boughey of Websters, following a recommendation from a friend who had also used Stuart recently. The survey was thorough and informative and his recommendations and notes were balanced and well-considered. I found this most reassuring. House buying is already a stressful process so it was valuable to have a calm, reliable and efficient surveyor and company.

We engaged Websters for a Level 3 survey on a property which looked like a bit of a cosmetic fixer upper but seemed to be sound otherwise- it was not!

Our Surveyor was Joss and his report clearly set out what he saw and the RAG rating system used in the report was very helpful in informing us what we needed to focus on. Despite this, as first time buyers, we had no understanding of whether the issues identified as would cost us hundreds of pounds or hundreds of thousands so asked for some clarification.

Not only did Joss take a call quite late in the evening to walk us through the specific risks, he went above and beyond to make sure we were fully informed of what our short-term and long-term options were and which might prove to be better value for money overall including signposting us to relevant specialists for things like roofing etc. He followed up by email to provide the full-size 4k versions of the photos he had taken so we could share these with other suppliers in order to get initial quotes on the work needed without having them put up scaffolding etc.

This allowed us to have complete control over our options and we ultimately made the decision to not proceed with that purchase. We have, however, now decided to re-engage Websters to undertake a survey of the house we're now looking to purchase due to the excellent service we had from Joss.

Used Websters for a recent survey on a Victorian Terrace in London, I have been very impressed with the experience from start to finish. They have been incredibly responsive and the report provides a huge amount of detail and insight. Clearly a firm who prizes quality over quantity, in saying that I though the level three survey was of great value and our surveyor Stuart was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

After careful consideration of two other firms, we chose Websters as our level 3 building surveyor, and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision. From the very beginning, the communication has been prompt and clear, which made the entire process much smoother. Natyshia was incredibly helpful, addressing all our queries and accommodating our additional requests.

Stuart Boughey served as our surveyor, and his expertise and experience weretp notch. We were impressed by his extensive knowledge and commitment to addressing our questions both before and after the survey. His thorough approach provided us with the confidence we needed throughout the process.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience at Websters Surveyors, and couldn't be happier with the service we received.

Stuart and the Webster Surveyor team have been fantastic over the two surveys we have had conducted by them. Organisation of survey was easy and reports were clear and comprehensive. The drone survey also provides high quality imagery to expand on report writing. Stuart’s feedback thankfully helped us make an informed decision on how to proceed with an initial property which had complex hidden subsidence issues, followed by guiding us through the import questions to ask for our second. Stuart was very responsive over email with any queries we had, providing clear responses, also making himself readily available for a a phone call to further discuss. Definitely recommend and would return to them if we needed another survey completed, but hopefully not necessary!

What can I say? Excellent service. The whole team that I spoke with were always accommodating, reassuring and polite. The survey was booked in promptly upon payment and the report was detailed and informative. What was super helpful was that our Surveyor, Stuart Boughey, went above and beyond to accommodate a time that suited us to run through the report. You can tell when someone cares about their work, based on the way that he explained the content and responded to our queries. I would not hesitate to use Websters again (ideally Stuart!) should I ever need another survey. Highly recommended. Also a special ‘shout out’ to Natyshia Barned who handled all queries prior to appointment.
