Finalement WD se met dans les poches 209,98€ sans honorer ses engagements !! J'ai demandé à voir la preuve de dépôt, tout le monde refuse !! Alors que dans la preuve de livraison il doit certainement y avoir la preuve que je n'ai jamais rien réceptionné !!

DO NOT BUY THE EXTERNAL DRIVE PASSPORT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR DATA. I had all of my photos, videos, and documents on my external drive. One day it just STOPPED working out of the blue. Western Digital does nothing to help, other than point you to a data restoration service that's over $1,000. I had their customer service send me a new drive (which I had to pay for) that didn't show up even a week past what they said - until I called them and the drive magically shipped. Please save yourself the headache and heartache
Robbed by Western Digital. Stay away from them.
They dropped my high value parcel (worth $1,139 Canadian) by the front door with no signature requirement. It got stolen and I've been going back and forth with WD support who basically keeps saying to me "Tough luck for you! You're on your own."
Credit card wont accept insurance claim because to them, the item was merchant's responsibility to ensure I get the item (with signature on the high value parcel). Merchant took the risk of leaving parcel on the floor.

Me dejé tentar, hace muchos años, por la recomendación de esta marca por parte de un amigo experto en informática.
WD es lo mejor en discos duros, decía.
He comprado a lo largo de muchos años unos 6 discos duros internos, solo 1 ha durado más de 3 años.
También compré 2 discos duros externos, uno de ellos también duró poco más de dos años, el otro aún funciona unos 3 años más tarde.
Curiosamente tengo discos duros internos de otras marcas con más de 10 años y aún funcionando, no sé por qué sigo comprando a esta empresa.
Para colmo, un pedido reciente, tentado por un buen descuento, me quedé sin recibirlo porque esta empresa trabaja con el transportista UPS. Vean la puntuación media de este transportista, parece que va a la par con WD, así como mi experiencia con ellos.
Ese paquete que nunca me llegó lo reclamé en varias ocasiones tanto al transportista como a WD, sin éxito alguno.
Quizá hasta es mejor que haya sido así, en vista a la mala experiencia con los discos duros de esta marca.
Poor customer service
The return process was very difficult. The emails took days to approve an RMA. Then when approved they do not pay for shipping back the defective product that was within warranty.

Bought a hard drive on the Canadian website. Was sent from the US and no warning of duties. Drive was defective. Tested at a local shop and returned. I keep asking for full refund. They kept $30 dollars. I complained. Then $20. I complained. Today is call number 3. Only $10 more until my full refund.
I will never use a WD product again.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying from these guys. The drive failed after just a month. I lost all my data. I sent the drive back to them for a refund because it was still in warranty. They simply ignore emails. I keepo emailing them to get them to send me my replacement. The system they make you go through is agonisingly complex and tricky to generate a returns form. Now they have my drive and my money and have NEVER sent me my replacement. It has been MONTHS. And I needed that drive to work and I needed that data. I really urge you not to buy from these people or use theior products. I have been buying drives from them for about three years. I have bought 4 drives. 2 have failed and lost my data. So the product is unreliable. And their customer support afterwards is just offensive. They keep saying they will send a ereplacement drive then dont bother. It seems there is nothing I can do about it. They have just totally screwed me over. Stay well clear everyone.

Be careful when you use the service of these guys here. They simply stole the device from me and wrote that I sent an empty box, but I gave it to them at the post office, took video photographs, and when I provided them with the information that I sent the device in a sealed box, they accepted my research evidence, but so and they didn’t return my device to me for replacement, they took 2 years to take care of this matter. But they didn’t solve it today. I received an answer that the warranty case is not supported because the warranty has expired. The device was stolen. The warranty was stolen here. Thieves and liars, be very vigilant; do not use the service. companies

It has been massively delayed, as turns out they are dispatching those items from Netherlands, although stating it was in stock on UK website. Save yourself some time and order a product from another manufacturer.

3x wurde unser Produkt ausgetauscht, immer noch defekt, kein entgegenkommen. Jetzt haben die den Fall geschlossen angeblich, weil wir das wollen! Beim letzten Mal hatte man uns versprochen gegen ein neues Gerät zu tauschen, ist aber nicht passiert. Inzwischen hat uns der „Austausch“ allein durch Mitarbeiterzeiten viel mehr gekostet, als es einfach direkt neu zu kaufen! Leider war das jetzt auch schon öfter so. Wir von der IT können die Produktkäufe bei WD nun leider nicht mehr unterstützen und werden demnächst den Wechsel für all unsere Server zu einem neuen Anbieter empfehlen. Traurig das auch Geschäftskunden hier für dumm verkauft werden!

These are the aboslute worst people to work with. We sent payment to the address provided with the W9 as that is what businesses usually use for payment addresses. That is what businesses use for VENODOR infomation, where 1099s need to be mailed to. HOWEVER, they failed to disclose that their sales company and credit company are TWO Completely different companies with the same name, yet TWO completely different addresses. They suspended us due to sending the payment directly to the sales company. They said there wouldn't be an issue getting that payment transferred and we would not be penalized. And the next day we were suspended. Even though we promptly sent our payment and provided proof. They are awful. GOD AWFUL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They will NEVER work with you. They have ZERO customer service skills.

Posso confermare che la Western Digital ha perso una parte di serietà, e speriamo non di qualità.
Mi è stato consegnato l'Hard Disk My book 6 tb in una scatoletta di cartone senza protezioni, infatti la confezione interna è bucata e danneggiata.
Inoltre, il prodotto riporta la data di produzione nel 2021, ciò vuol dire che l'hard disk è rimasto in magazzino per 3 anni, oppure, peggio ancora, che è ricondizionato.
Speriamo che funzioni per almeno 7 anni come gli altri miei Hard Disk Western Digital.
Non va bene, però. Se avessi voluto ordinarlo così lo avrei ordinato su Amazon.

Brought a home cloud duo 12tb, digital code assigned to the product didn’t work. The online help was useless as the response was asking for all sorts of hurdles. They expected me to provide data files in order to figure out solution but the issue was the9 digit product code key not able to sync despite numerous attempts… instead I decided to return back item within 30 period. Turns out this is a common issue. It’s a shame as I’m still shopping for a home cloud storage device & will not bother with western digital again.

They stopped supporting the MyPassport- a product designed to save memories, photos, important documents. Apparently- they’re just “done” with it, after selling it and making bank. Despicable. Do nor EVER buy a thing from this company.
Incredibly poor customer service
Incredibly poor customer service. I ordered a hard drive only to not have it show up for almost 1 month. 2 weeks go by and I message them asking them what the issue is, only to be put on the merry go round of customer service. They informed me that I would have to message the courier? When they didn't give them the correct address. I had already done this and the courier informed me that they would have to change it. I was then told another 8-10 days before I hear anything back. This company is wild. My package would've sat there until Christmas had I not said anything to these guys. Take my advice amongst countless others. Don't use them.
