Washtower® is a family-run company established in the Netherlands in 2017. What began as an idea to design a cupboard that would mean no more bending while doing the laundry, developed into an innovative modular cupboard system for the complete furnishing of a laundry room, bathroom or utility room. This was clearly a gap in the market because only five years after launching our business, our team of four has grown to 39 colleagues and we now sell our cupboards in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, England, France and Scandinavia. We hope to soon enter the American markets as well. We want our customers to consider it a joy to do the laundry. That is why we prioritise service and quality. We always make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied. To guarantee safety, we have had our cupboards tested extensively by the German TÜV Rheinland. Washtower® sells the first TÜV-certified washing machine cupboard in Europe, which makes us really proud!

Items not of the level of quality…
Items not of the level of quality expected given the price level. Tower shakes when dryer is on, IKEA level of quality at premium price point.
Delivery service awful, bulky items that weighed a combined 100kgs were left on the ground floor for us to carry upstairs.
Would not recommend, would not buy again.

My colleague contacted you this morning to explain that the transport drivers are not allowed to remove the boxes from the pallet, nor bring them inside. This information is also indicated on our website and in the order confirmation.
Regarding the shaking cabinet, like we explained on the phone, this should not be happening. Our cabinets are 100% safe and absorb vibrations. We therefore kindly ask you to send us further information so that we can check what is going wrong and provide you with a suitable solution. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved after getting into contact and you can start doing the laundry with a steady and safe cupboard! We apologize for the inconvenience.

Good quality and sturdy when installed
The items were delivered well packaged on a pallet. The wash tower instructions are of good quality, and I found the wash tower to be of good quality. I'd recommend it! I have been using the wash tower for a few months now and it is wearing really well!

Order took forever
Order took forever. When I tried to cancel, despite receiving no dispatch notice, it was suddenly ready to be delivered. It came and was left with a giant wooden pallet that I couldn’t fit in my car to take to the tip, and meant I couldn’t park on my drive until it was gone. I had to pay someone to come and take the pallet away. Never again.

From them I understood that you wished to cancel the order 5 weeks after ordering, during that time the cabinet was send from our warehouse (the Netherlands) to your home. That's why it was ready for delivery all of the sudden. Since we understood your situation, we tried to offer you two solutions; however when the delivery company tried to reach you regarding the delivery (and potential return of the product) they weren't able to reach you.. Great washtower. Terrible written instructions.
The washtower looks great when assembled. The instructions weren't good - they were out of date, so some components had changed or just weren't present, and this was only clarified after contacting customer support. The order of assembly in the instructions also made it difficult in later steps. There are videos on the website which shows an easier order and I'd recommend using those over the written ones.

Very good product and met my expectations. The promotional information is accurate. Delivered well within timescale. Packaged very well to avoid damage. I would advise anyone to take time to sort the boxes into their partners and read through the instructions a couple of times before unpacking. Better than IKEA by far. The door hinges are a bit of a fiddle when hanging the doors on your own but achievable with some persistence. I am very happy and would recommend.

very happy with the wash tower. service/configuration/pricing/quality/delivery all very good. I was originally going to have a custom-made unit built by a joiner, but this worked out a lot cheaper without really compromising on quality.

Great quality, instructions were sometimes a bit difficult. There was an error on the drawer component and some pages were in the wrong order!

But since the product needs to come from the Netherlands on a pallet, we can not get the costs lower at the moment. This is something we're working on. Your representative was very helpful in helping me select the right product. My only complaint is that you didn't let me know when you would be delivering the product,even though you said you would let me know. Thankfully I was home when it was delivered, but I wasn't expecting it and I didn't have any help to bring the large,heavy boxes inside. The delivery man did eventually help, but at first he refused because he said he wasn't allowed to, presumably for health and safety reasons. I would have preferred to have been notified of a delivery date so that I could have had someone here to help me.
