Covent Garden branch - the service was great except for the lady removing my plate and asking what dessert I wanted B4 my daughter had finished her main.

My worry is the toilets......very dark and quiet and MIXED......I thought I had entered the men's but no there were women's toilets in the same quiet space. It was a bit scary walking past a heap of male toilets to get to the female ones. I felt really vulnerable......you could easily be pulled into a toilet and attacked. Yes, there was CCTV.....but that won't help in the moment, or if someone has a mask or disguise.
I don't like shared toilets and certainly wouldn't let a child go down there unaccompanied.....very bad planning

Disappointing food - rice was so poorly cooked I’d be embarrassed to serve it at home. Poor service - they insisted on serving all dishes across people. Wrong drinks delivered. Not all means came together. Very overpriced for what it is. The only positive was that the food was served quickly.

My first visit to Wagamama. We ordered chicken noodles. It was vile. Foul tasting plant-based noodles cooked in what tasted like washing up liquid. 2 or 3 pieces of bland chicken cooked in the dish water along with limp, over cooked spinach. The meal looked revolting, tasted revolting and was completely inedible all for a very reasonable £25 for 2 people. We abandoned our plates virtually untouched- no one batted an eyelid so it must happen a lot. NEVER AGAIN!

Our visit to Wagamama was lovely! Food was amazing especially the Boa buns and best of all the Service was first class! Dani was brilliant, really friendly and helpful!

We had a great customer experience at Wagamama in Speke, Liverpool. We have been served by a very professional and highly knowledgeable member of staff, Katie, who was able to answer our questions about the different dishes on the menu. She was also very polite and welcoming. The food was delicious, just as described by Katie. We will be back.

Went to Cribbe Causeway branch in Bristol for my birthday and honestly can’t wait to go again. The service was excellent, I cracked my knee on the table and the waitress couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. The food was out of this world, I loved every single mouthful and the experience was brilliant for me. Will be going back very soon.

We visited the Southbank, Royal Festival Hall, London Wagamamas Easter weekend. We queued which was fine, the staff were polite, however the service was shocking. We ordered our food, two sharing plates, one udon main and a ramen plus drinks. After a short while one share plate arrived and we were impressed with it - chilli squid then it fell apart. My partner received his main which he had to start as mine did not turn up until 20 mins later, by which time he had finished his AND the 2nd plate of chilli mushroom never arrived! My chilli chicken ramen was shocking. It literally tasted like a watered down tomato pot noodle, the actually noodles were not drained properly tasted starchy….it looked like a pot noodle with spring onions and a layer of chicken that seemed overcooked, dry and chewy - bland. I was so cross and disappointed as I ended leaving it and leaving there hungry. I love ramen and this was not ramen in my experience.

I Think the food is great but the service is the worst i ever have got in my entire life. We Got the wrong food. It took 25 minuts for the food. 1 of us Got the good 17 minuts before the rest worst experinse ever. I would not recommend to eat here I would never eat here again also the egg I got was raw not even cooked. Don’t eat here.

went to Staines branch and couldn't get better service was clean and tidy service was brilliant and even though was packed didn't have to wait too long for food. Food Excellent and server was nice and friendly. will def go back and the queue outside must say it all as other places empty. Well done

In the past, for many years, I have always enjoyed having a meal at a Wagamama restaurant, but this time I found it to be a most unpleasant experience. I went to the branch near Victoria Station, while having time to kill before catching a train. I was on my own and was shown to a table, but found that someone had already put their coat on the seat. I was then taken to another place, which was a very small space wedged between other people, which I would have found to be very uncomfortable, especially as there was nowhere to put my coat and bag. And access to the seat would have involved climbing over into the tiny space. So I started to leave, when the not very welcoming lady staff member took me over to another table, which has stools, where there was a space, although I had to leave these items on the floor, as the places either side of me were soon taken. I would have sat outside, where there were plenty of empty tables, if it were not so cold. The noise of the muzak blaring out was horrible and lead to people having to shout. The dish I had was very pleasant if rather small, and I decided to leave soon after eating it. When I received the bill it stated over £40 instead of around the correct price of £12. Just as well I checked! I then told the waiter it was wrong, and he then gave me a correct version, with no apology. I hate to think what a foreign visitor would have made of it. I certainly will be avoiding this company in the future

Had a less than satisfactory Wagamamas customer service experience. It was a special occasion ordered a takeaway Arrived poor quality, squid and belly pork ramen portions were smaller than they usually are. The Boa bun fillings weren’t even in the buns, the aubergine was soggy, not coated or crispy. All the food was cold and of lower standard that previously had. 2x Katsu chicken, 2 x bao buns and 1x ramen. Reported on the Wagamama website.
Spoke to the manager at High Wycombe and she said ‘complain to deliveroo. There’s nothing we can do once the food has left the restaurant’.
Honestly this is terrible customer service. It actually is shocking, disheartening and so disappointing.
As a previously loyal customer, this has been an eye opener, I don’t feel like I can trust this company to be fair. I advise you to take your custom somewhere else, if you’d like good customer service when they get things wrong.

Ordered a takeaway meal for 6 from Wagamama online in Tunbridge Wells on the 18 Feb 2024, when we went to collect we were informed that the restaurant had no knowledge of our order despite Wagamama having taken our money and issued us with on order number. As the restaurant was very busy and there would be a delay in preparing our food we decided to take the offered refund and go elsewhere, we were told that it could be up to a week before the refund would show in my account, that was two weeks ago. I have attempted to contact Wagamama through their 'Contact Us' page but with the exception of an automated response I have had no reply. Very poor service, will never use them again.
