The last message I received was to do with the heat wave in the UK causing delays, we are two weeks out of the heat wave and still no delivery, and no idea when I will receive my order! 13 days and still no delivery or any idea when my order will arrive :(

Ordered the air purifier fan

Ordered the air purifier fan. order arrived 5 days later even though I had next day delivery.

Fan turned up damaged, tried to get hold of the customer service 3 times on the phone and every time you got to number one in the queue it told you to email and then cut you off. Have emailed with no reply.

Won’t be using this company again.

Placed my order weeks ago (26th may)…

Placed my order weeks ago (26th may) and still not received my order. Emailed had no response. Still had absolute no response from anyone even when I’ve asked for a refund ect. Don’t bother with these honestly waste of time . I have twins and the next heatwave is due this weekend now I’ve got to go buy another fan paying more money I’m honestly so annoyed

1 star is too good for this shambolic company. If you are debating an order with them, AVOID AVOID AVOID. No updates on my order- almost 3 weeks on from the next day delivery I was offered. No mention of the fans being out of stock so they effectively put your order on pre order without making you aware. Now apparently cannot locate my order as it’s ready for the courier- funny seeing as no stock is available? Absolute sham of a company. Also refusing to refund customers. The situation has got so bad that scammers have started targeting vortex customers, conning them out of more money! Ignore all the good reviews and comments on social media as they delete all the bad ones off! Steer well clear of these con artists

Terrible company to deal with

Terrible company to deal with. Ordered my fan bank holiday Monday with the promise of next day delivery and my fan finally arrived 15 days later. Have read countless reviews similar to mine and just wish I’d have got one from Amazon or even bought one locally from Argos. Certainly wouldn’t buy from this company anymore.

Poor performance

After exactly 14 days since point of order I was thrilled to see 2X vortex pro fans at my door.

The excitement lasted until I powered the first one on. They are genuinely a poor performing fan unit that does not live upto the hype. A pedestal fan delivers 3X the air flow the vortex fan does.

I have requested their refund policy so here’s to another round of hassle from the poor customer service team.

This company has to be the worst!!!! Why are companies like this allowed to rob. False advertise? Watchdog should investigate this outfit

Poor Service

Product is brilliant service did not match! Did not respond to emails on hold on phone for 30 minutes then cut off. Item was late and courier didn’t deliver the first time. I was left feeling like it was a scam shame as fan was brilliant

I ordered the Vortex air pro plus

Update,12/06/2026, the replacement fan arrived on the 11/06/2026, opened it and tried it on the 12th, all works as it should, the fan works very well , cools the room efficiently, tried the heat settings these all work well, the fan is quiet at low speeds and not overly noisy on the highest speed, all in all a great fan the after care from the company superb in my experience,
Update 10/06/2026, Vortex have been in touch, they are sending a replacement, which is very good customer service after care, so i am upping my rating from a 2 stars to four stars.
I ordered the Vortex air pro plus, on the 26th May, it was finally delivered today 9th June, I opened the boxes , took out the fan which was the main unit, a base and remote control with batteries, I put the base on the bottom of the main unit, put the batteries in the remote, plugged the fan in , turned it on and set the fan to blow cold , it does , I then tried the heat function that also seems to work, howver I then tried the oscilation function on the remote and also on the unit, it does not appear to work the unit does not move from side to side, I rang customer service on hold for around 30mins , only to get an automated message saying email them. Why not have that message at the start instead of having people told they are moving up the queue, then when you get to the end told to email. I emailed twice before whilst waiting for the fan to arrive and never received a response , so I am not holding out much hope, I also messaged them on their website hears hoping, I wanted to speak to someone to see if the issue is something simple that could be sorted over the phone, but as that is not possible , I find myself here writing a bad review.

I ordered a VortexAir Pro with delivery…

I ordered a VortexAir Pro with delivery in a few days, it's now a few weeks and still no delivery. I've emailed several times, no reply. I've telephoned several times and then get cut off after about 30 minutes. I also tried Instagram but I get a pre-prepared message. If there's no correspondence by the end of June, I will have to claim the money back from my credit card company. Why can't these companies just do as they claim...

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Placed an order over two weeks ago. Got an email saying it was due to be dispatched but nothing since then. Emailed and got a standard stock email even after asking for a refund. Tried phoning three times during opening hours advertised and was in a queue for 30 minutes each time to eventually get a pre-recorded message telling me to email support, which i have been doing with no joy! Still no fan and no refund!

Scam company

Like all the other customers who have left 1* reviews this company is a scam taking money and not fulfilling their part of providing a quality product in the stated time (next day delivery) my order took 10 days to deliver by which time I had to purchase another one from a retailer that did provide next day delivery. My 9 emails to cancel and return this have gone unseen and not answered I paid by credit card and will be contacting them in order to recoup the cost of this substandard order . DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY SCAM

Vortex Air - TRY HARDER! If I could give you zero stars I would

Ordered 2 for next day delivery, knowing that this would be the Wednesday after the late May bank holiday. They finally arrived yesterday - 14 days late. Customer service is a joke (in fact worse than a joke, jokes are funny, the customer service from this company is anything but funny). You can't chat - even though the website offers the facility. You can't phone, just get re-directed to email. When you do email, you get a cut and paste answer 5 full days outside of their promised response time which tells you nothing. They create a delivery with DX a full week before handing the product to DX, perhaps hoping that people will think it is DX's fault. Then finally after 14 days the fans arrive... Still promising next day delivery on the website and by the other comments here, still failing miserably to achieve this. The fans are good, they are quieter than traditional ones and cheaper than the competition BUT customer service in a retail industry is everything and this company has none. They fully deserve their 'tanking' Trustpilot score which has dropped from 4.4 to 3.7 in 14 days. Like others, if I could give them zero stars I would. I fully expect a cut and paste response to this review which mentions unprecedented demand and a long gone heatwave... Vortex Air - TRY HARDER!

From ordering to receiving it was trouble free and able to track - I got the white fan with pink inset - I didn’t realise they are as big as they are but it’s fantastic comes with a remote - they are not silent but the noise they make is quite comforting - excellent value for money well worth it it does exude adequate amount of cool air but it does have various settings - one happy customer

Ordered a Vortex Fan on 23rd May

Ordered a Vortex Fan on 23rd May, they took my money, had a notification on 27th May with tracking number, still waiting for my fan!!! Sent 5 plus emails, tried calling them was in a queue of 27, after 40 minutes a recorded message said contact support!!! This happened twice. No one is responding to my emails. Absolutely diabolical customer service, its as if they are ghosting me. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

I refused the late delivery

I have an update on my situation which is interesting when I see so many others are complaining about the same thing.
I too ordered with next day delivery, then heard nothing. I tried phoning, got to front of line & was told to email. I emailed, cancelling the order. I then contacted my credit card, who refunded the money to my account.
2 weeks later I got an email saying they would deliver today. I refused it at the door, saying I had cancelled & been refunded. The courier was pleasant & took the item back.

I've also noticed that when you criticise they post the same standard message, but if your post is positive they thank you. Dreadful company

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Avoid at all costs. They do not have a return policy even though they promise that they have a 30 day return Guarantee. Unfortunately there is no process set out for return if product is faulty and when you try and contact Customer service they do not respond. POOR!!!
