All this is my 2nd Review and upgraded now to 3 stars, the product is infact 5 stars, and very good. Ordered 26th May and received today 10th June. What needs to be addressed is the customer service and the lead times they are promising their customers. To not respond to customers it extremely poor which relates to further frustration. I also beleive the company may have changed hands as previousy Vortex Air now called Hotsnap Ltd. Sounds like they have just had another batch of deliveries and customers are now receiving again.

As other customers have stated the next day delivery is a scam. 10 days after ordering I am still waiting for my fan.
I have tried to email and call but get no response.
So now I have no fan and no way of getting a response.

Great Product

Very easy process from order to delivery. Great product, first impressions. Hopefully very reliable. Could not order the 2026 version as was out of stock. I would prefer the price to be reduced if I only wanted one as the 20% off if two or more are purchased seems a bit unfair.

They don’t dispatch items they don’t respond to emails
They put you in call queue for 30 mins only to cut you off

Still waiting on item and asked for refund.
Will be arranging a charge back with credit card company.

Also Facebook pages with thousands of people saying they are a scam and don’t pay out refunds

I ordered a fan back in May expecting…

I ordered a fan back in May expecting it to be delivered the next day. However after 5 days I hadn't received any communication from the company regarding the status or whereabouts of my order. So I emailed and asked for the order to be cancelled and to be refunded. That email was unanswered. I then emailed about a week later asking again for the order to be cancelled.
A fan was delivered on 3rd June and I again emailed asking for the fan to be returned so I could get a refund.
I am currently on hold (30 minutes) with this company for the third time today as no one seem to answer their customer support line. I sent three emails which have all gone unanswered.
I would avoid any transaction with this company

Great products.

This is the fourth product I've purchased, and they are great, love them. The delivery was as stated when I ordered, and customer service is always great too.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Third review on this company- it simply gets worse. 3 days have gone by no response to my email asking to start the return process. This company are now just ignoring. I’m at the stage now where I will be reaching out to citizens advice and the relevant ombudsman. I complete and utter SCAM.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL! ⚠️

Where do I start? They said next day delivery so i thought id order one before i went to Germany which was a week away, it didn’t come 2 days after so i dropped them an email.

I said if it’s not here by the 3rd day don’t bother sending it just cancel the order.

They replied next day saying they had a 3 week back order which wasn’t stated on their website nor did I get an email saying this when purchasing, they said we’ll send it when it comes.

I replied again saying just cancel it I don’t need it anymore as my Germany trip has finished. They replied again saying the same thing? Maybe an AI bot system?

So I replied again and had the exact same response just worded differently, I had to put a claim through Klarna in the end.

What a useless scam company, DO NOT PURCHASE if you like customer service as their customer service is non existent.

It’s now been 3 weeks and nothing still, what an awful service, listen to your customers!!.

Great product

Great product, with different levels of fan speed. Cool mode really effective as well as the hot mode. Silent mode ideal for bedroom, low decibel. Future upgrade would like the remote control to be magnetic so it can stay on top of the fan unit. User friendly, quality finish and solid build. Will recommend to friends and family!

After reading the review by Louise…

After reading the review by Louise Standen posted this morning I felt obliged to leave my 3rd one star review for this company , I won’t go into chapter and verse as Louise’s review says it all . This morning I have logged a case with Trading Standards via the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline and I suggest anybody else in the same position does the same , it’s a simple process and a 5 minute phone call, I’ve then started a chargeback dispute via my bank. Companies like this should not be able to get away with taking our hard earned cash with false claims and then making it impossible to contact them for updates or refunds. I’m hoping that Trading Standards will investigate and everybody in the same situation as me at the very least gets their money back.

Sway issue fixed, no fuss

I had a problem with the ‘sway’ function of my Vortex Air Fan, it stopped working. I contacted customer services who asked for a video and some photos. I sent these off and quickly was told a replacement will be sent out. There was no fuss and it was all so smooth, can’t recommend Vortex enough

Not happy with the return process

I purchased this product and was not satisfied with the wind speed for the price i paid whihc is around 110£ per fan. The return is not straightforward and I have to bear the cost of return. When you buy the product and if you are not happy you need to bear the cost.

The return was not because of the fault in product but the quality of product was not satisfactory. My tower fan have more cooler wind. Wind speed was less due to which i was returning the product.

I’ve attempted to return my order after receiving and realising how poor quality this is, and I’ve emailed customer service 5 times over the past two weeks, rang customer service only to wait on the phone in a queue for 40 minutes for a automated messaging telling me to email, this company is an absolute SCAM

I ordered 2 fans but only received 1. I’ve tried contacting Vortex via email, but their customer service seems completely unresponsive. Even if items are out of stock and awaiting restock, I’d expect a reputable company to send a simple update to keep customers informed about their order status. No communication at all is disappointing and feels very unprofessional.

Where are your customer service staff!!

I ordered a pro plus fan online on 8th June and their website states next day delivery. It did show some colours unavailable however after choosing one that was available it stated delivery date would be 15th June so I ordered. After paying it stated delivery was 9th July, far too long to wait for a replacement for my broken fan!
I called customer services twice and after at least 30 minutes wait instead of getting through to someone I got a voice message to send an email.
I sent an email asking for a refund if the date of 15th June cannot be honoured and as yet have had no reply.
Vortex need to get their act together, ensure the website is accurate with delivery times and answer calls to their customer service department.

Trading Standards is next port of call

It's been over a week since I contacted this company about the fan arriving damaged (base snapped fully off) and despite trying to reach them by email and 4 phone calls that on each occasion after 30mins 52seconds diverts to an automated message telling you to email yet they don't respond. They have time to respond to Trustpilot reviews though. Seems they are trying to avoid giving refunds. Trading Standards will be next port of call - have already raised a claim with the bank. Appalling customer service so avoid

5th 1 Star Vortex Air Review

This is my 5th review of Vortex Air. I have honestly never come across another company who deal with their customers so badly & with such obvious disregard as this 'small family run business' does.

I ordered two fans on the 25th May, like everyone else expected the advertised next day delivery, like everyone else, didn't arrive.
Move forward to today and iv sent aprox 18 emails to their customer care team, asking a variety of different questions, starting with where are my fans, to why don't you actually answer my question, to i want to cancel my order, to where's my refund.
Eventually i was promised a refund but only because I went to trading standards and got advice. Please don't be fobbed off with 'we can't refund you because items have been dispatched ' ITS A LIE. Unless the goods have been physically picked up by the courier a refund can still be given. They just don't want to.
If anyone else has been told they will get a refund, be very cautious! I was told they had authorised one for me over a week ago and its never arrived in my account. Another email sent and I was told it now definitely has.
I don't believe a word of it. Im sure I will be contacting my bank in a few days to start another chargeback, which is my advice to anyone wanting to get a refund, just go to your bank, or PayPal & don't bother with this lot.

I won't give up and I won't be beaten by this company.
They have bought all this on themselves, they can blame a mini heatwave all they want but it is their poor, dire handling of their customers orders and appalling customer service that has got them to this stage.

Why hasn't the elusive Jules - CEO (well not so elusive because he's holidaying in Las Vegas while all this is going on - see Jules Bavin Instagram) sent out an email to everyone effected apologising? Why doesn't he just be straight with everyone and be honest about when our products might really arrive?
Why, after over two weeks are people still receiving the same automated responses.
Why after over two weeks are the phone lines still not being answered?
Why are people who have ordered after we have receiving their items before us?
Why are you refusing people the right of a refund when the items haven't physically left your warehouse (which is our consumer right)

My fan is on the website, showing as in stock & ready to ship by the 15th June. I still haven't had mine dispatched and was told it would be mid July!
Are you holding back what stock you do have for new customers in the hope of receiving good reviews?
Why won't you let people return goods? Its our right to do so. You have no right to refuse a return.

If your company folds its entirely your fault, not a mini heatwave's.
Your braking the consumer rights act, your holding people's money unlawfully and your not allowing people to return goods because you won't answer their emails. I hope this review is of help to some people. Don't give up!

3 weeks in and still no delivery

3 weeks in and still no delivery , 4 emails sent to obtain status all ignored even after a shipment email of a couple of days ago . Do not buy from this company , they just take your money and ignore you , currently trying to get money back through charge back
