Misleading sale practice: an additional internet line was activated without clear consent, presented as a replacement of my existing service.
No resolution was provided despite repeated follow-ups over several weeks, forcing escalation to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in Qatar.

Terrible customer service — do not recommend. The staff at Vodafone Qatar were unable to understand what I was asking, and many did not speak English well enough to help. I called to downgrade my plan and was told it was done, only to discover nearly a year later that it never was and I’ve been paying extra the whole time. I was passed between multiple agents and supervisors, each one worse than the last and none resolving the issue. After this experience I’m cancelling my service. Vodafone Qatar urgently needs to improve training, communication, and accountability so customers aren’t left paying for services they didn’t request. 😞

Worst customer service I've experienced in Qatar.
I've been a customer for a year and their only intention is to rip off their customers. I've been overcharged for months and had to visit their branches murkilpe times to fix it, but issues have not been resolved. Vodafone even blocked my number when I paid for what I supposed to be pay for. After facing unresolved issues for months, I wanted to move to a pre paid plan and pay a transfer fee, but even then Vodafone failed to transfer me to a pre paid plan and rolled over my post-paid plan.
I genuinely could not recommend enough to avoid this company enough

I would like to share my disappointing experience with Vodafone Qatar’s internet service.
Immediately after the installation of my new Vodafone internet connection, I began facing serious technical issues. I am unable to log in to several mobile applications and online services, despite everything working perfectly before the installation.
I spent three full days contacting Vodafone customer support to resolve this issue. Eventually, I was informed that the problem was due to my use of a third-party router/extender and was advised that purchasing Vodafone-branded equipment was the only solution. I find this response completely unacceptable.
Customers should not be forced to buy exclusive hardware when reliable and widely used third-party devices such as Netgear, TP-Link, and D-Link work seamlessly with other internet providers. My equipment was functioning without any issues prior to switching to Vodafone.
For comparison, I used Ooredoo internet services since 2017 and never faced such restrictions or inconvenience. This experience with Vodafone has been frustrating and disappointing.
I strongly urge Vodafone Qatar to conduct an urgent technical review and provide a fair, customer-friendly solution without pressuring customers into unnecessary additional purchases. I hope Vodafone takes this feedback seriously and responds professionally.

I had a great phone call with Montasar from the Tunisian customer service .He was very professional, helpful, and knew exactly how to handle the issue. He listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and resolved the matter quickly.

The worst experience and customer service.
They scam you for money if you register for any service, you can't downgrade a plan they make you pay triple of you need to but you can only upgrade your plan so they take money from you.
Agents are very incompetent in helping.
They'll just keep taking your money until you agree to pay extra to change your plan. Not recommended at all. No transparency in this as well.

give 1 start since there is no option for 0. its been 10 days i recharged, service is not provided, hotline and branch visit end up useless. they took money and ignoring to respond when asking for the service wh8ich i paid for.

I would choose 0 star if I could, they send their employees to knock on doors 5 times a day, I told them please stop coming but no responce, then I reported to the police and vodafoe employee said we are different groups, we don't have connection between us.

Worst service you ever can find. We ordered SIM card and they prepaid they gave us postpaid SIM when we found that we asked to give prepaid they refused and we have to wait 3 months to change it.
2 services are better than one
Oh no they're not. What a pile of shite. Been having trouble with Vodafone throttling my broadband speed for months won't admit it though. Now today 13.10.2025, the whole f ing lots gone down. Working from home, so had to go into the office, lost 2 hours pay. Can't wait to leave these losers.
Bad service
Shutting down your home internet requires going through the seven circles of hell. Why can't this be done at a service center? You bring in the equipment after using it for more than 12 months, accept it, and close the account. But then the fun begins—they're supposed to call you. They call you, but they give you no useful information about closing the account. Then it turns out your account hasn't been closed, and for some reason you still have to pay automatically for 77 days. Customer support sends me to the store where I disconnected my internet connection, and so on, repeating the process. You drive around, call, and no one can explain anything. You're already without equipment and still paying for internet. The result is to wait again for a call to close the Internet.

One of the worst service .i was having ooredoo connection. As your staffs were keeps on coming to our doorsteps .after feeling pity towards them we moved on to vodafone..near by the bill dates the internet speed becomes very low not even allow to send a whatsapp message atleast .
Kindly do understand onething . Custo ers are not jokers or fools not to understand that vodafone are intentionally doing it to make bill on time.bill date will be on 1st of the month.internet speed will gradually reduce from day 28 of each month. We the customers will not run anywhere without paying your bill..ooredoo was far far better while comapring to your service.. dont think all are fools.
