UNIT 1 did it again
UNIT 1 did it again. One of my bike light is acting up, drains in a few hours indicating something wrong with the battery. At the 11th hour of the 1-year warranty, they sent me a replacement at no cost. Really appreciate the support, and clearly can’t function without UNIT 1 gear for my daily commute! Thank you

The Unit 1 Aura is a masterpiece!
The Unit 1 Aura is a masterpiece of engineering.
It beautifully combines top rate safety with elegant design, outstanding comfort and cutting edge technology.
The comfort of the Helmet is ensured by generous padding. And to make sure the fit is just right the Helmet comes with two different thicknesses of padding which can be mixed and matched to get the perfect fit. On the theme of comfort, I also bought the Bug Net which attaches easily inside the helmet. A must for me as over the years I've had unpleasant experiences of flying, stinging insects invading my helmet and causing havoc.
The tech also works really well. Turn Signals and brake Lights make cycling much safer, and are easily operated from the Remote which is attached to the bike handlebars. The process of pairing the Helmet, Remote Control and External Lights is effortless, and made possible by the Unit 1 App. The App sits at the heart of the tech ecosystem and is a wonder in itself with seemingly endless customisation available. It is intuitive and effective.
Then of course there is the Visor. I have the Adaptive version which works flawlessly and locates securely by strong magnets at both the rim edge and, when not in use, in the docking position just above the front light. It is well designed to protect eyes from wind, rain, insects and dust, while at the same time enabling me to wear glasses underneath.
If all of that seems a little daunting, Unit 1 have provided a plethora of support videos which are of great help, with clear explanations of all aspects of the Helmet and its Tech as well as the set up and customisation of the App.
As if all of that wasn't enough the Customer Service is excellent. The Team is quick, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, understanding, and courteous. No question is too simple and no problem too complex. The Customer Service staff are outstanding.
In conclusion, my experience of the Unit 1 Aura Helmet and the Company, mean that for me, although the Helmet may be expensive, yet the top safety rating, the quality of the Helmet materials and build, the marvel of the design, the functionality of the tech, and the wonderful customer support, make both the Helmet and Lights more than worth every penny.

Dark morning commute safer with the Unit 1 light
I really like the helmet features but needed to turn on the front light to full brightness for my dark morning commute. I received a prompt reply from the Unit 1 team and clear directions to accomplish what I needed. Well done.

Good build quality
Good build quality. I like the strap, it fits really well. The light on the back is also nice. And the inserts on top for a rainy day.
What I do not like is that the helmet is short on the side and is made for protection on the top of your head and much less for side protection.

Smart-Connected, Well-Designed Bike Helmet
The Unit1 NEON bike helmet was discovered through Kickstarter and despite this being the first purchase from Unit1, it does not disappoint. My apprehension to smart products ("Analog" products that have connectivity to smartphone or the internet), Unit1 found a purpose for practical and safety features for the NEON helmet that make the bike riding experience more safe for me than ever before. Despite this helmet costing a premium, after using it several times, I don't think I can ever go back.

Unit1 remote qui ne fonctionne pas. Impossible a apairer avec l'app aux smarts lights. Une belle arnaque vu le prix. Le support qui met des plombes a répondre. Vu le prix élevé on s'attend à mieux et ça n'a pas l'air de bonne qualité.

Perfect replacement of fitting system
Paulina from UNIT1 was the kindest help with my problem! I got the first answer within 24 hours. My fitting system of my helmet was broken and I could not fix it correctly on my head. Paulina sent me a new one (for free) together with a great youtube-tutorial to replace the part.
I can recommand not only the beloved product but for 100% the help service as well! Thank you!

5 stars isn’t enough!
I have several products now from Unit 1: the Faro and Aura helmets, the Smart Light, the backpack and other accessories, and am continually impressed with them. Everything about them is high quality and intuitively designed. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to be seen on their bike!! Additionally, their customer service is absolutely stellar. I was having user errors pairing my devices, and after a virtual help session with Maria, we had everything working as advertised! 5 stars isn’t enough!!
