I am facing a battery issue with this phone — the battery drains too fast, and I can’t rely on it for the whole day. Currently, I don’t use any social media, and I only make WhatsApp calls.

I have already disabled all apps from running in the background. However, within three hours, the battery drains by around 40%, even though I only used WhatsApp for a 5-minute call during that time.

How can I resolve this problem? I’m very confused.

I have bought a 8849 Tank 2. Its supposed to be a RUGGED phone. After a year it got water damaged from me holding the phone with wet hand. that is just ridiculous. 8849 PRODUCTS ARE EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. My previous rugged phone CAT s60 lasted me 5 years. I contacted manufacturer to claim my warranty As I am a EU consumer and have 2 Years warranty. Customer service denied me my warranty. Regrettably this resulted in Legal Action for breach of my EU consumer guarantees. I highly recommend to report this manufacturer to EU consumer protection. Waarom maar 3 ***: Als er iets mee is kun je hem beter weggooien en een nieuwe kopen. De aftersales lijkt ronduit dramatisch. Maar ja die Atom L is een lekker ding! en dat voor die prijs !!!!

After just two years of use, my Unihertz Titan Slim suddenly shut down and entered a boot loop. It won’t start, and all recovery attempts failed. For a device marketed as a “work phone,” this level of reliability is unacceptable.

I contacted support, but they only responded with generic suggestions and offered no real help. For anyone relying on their phone for serious tasks, I cannot recommend this brand.

The jelly star is a tiny fully functional phone that slips into the lighter pocket of your jeans and great battery life. When going out of an evening, especially in the summer, it is all I need. Fully connected when I need to be but free as a child otherwise. So much more engaged with friends. It puts the phone back where it is supposed to be - the pocket.

I reported a failed touchscreen on an Unihertz Jelly Star and they have sent me a free replacement touchscreen module under warranty. The customer service of Unihertz was quick to reply and were really trying to help with all issues. Really good company, bringing color in the black & white world of Iphone-Samsung smartphones. Keep the good work!

Mein Unihertz Jelly 2 funktioniert nicht mit Routern in Deutschland. Ich habe unzählige Mails mit dem Support geschrieben. Ich habe alle möglichen Dinge versucht. Einstellungen am Router ändern, Fehleranalyse auf dem Handy via ADB durchführen etc. Es half alles nichts. Mein Jelly 2 verliert nach ein paar Sekunden (manchmal sind es auch Minuten) den Internetzugang, egal in welchem WLAN ich mich anmelde. Die letzte Mail, die ich vom technischen Support bekam, war ein lakonischer Einzeiler "the problem is your router", und das obwohl ich mehrfach erwähnt habe, dass ich es mit vielen verschiedenen Routern ausprobiert habe. Ich hoffe jetzt auf eine Reklamation. Sollte diese nicht durchgehen, werde ich diese Bewertung selbstverständlich auf einen Stern runterkorrigieren.

Ich bin absolut enttäuscht von Unihertz. Ich habe mehrere E-Mails geschickt und auf dringende Unterstützung gehofft, aber ich habe keinerlei Rückmeldung erhalten. Es ist absolut inakzeptabel, wie Kunden mit teuren Handys im Stich gelassen werden. Trotz einer professionellen Internetseite und dem Versprechen von Kunden-Support gibt es keinerlei Unterstützung. Es fühlt sich an, als würde man ein teures Handy kaufen und dann einfach im Regen stehen gelassen werden.

Unabhängig davon, ob man eine Antwort erhält, sind diese oft völlig unbrauchbar und zeigen keinerlei Bemühungen, echte Hilfe zu leisten. Es ist klar, dass der Support von Unihertz nicht funktioniert und die Kunden einfach im Stich gelassen werden.

Ich kann nur warnen, sich auf den Support von Unihertz zu verlassen.

My husband didn't like the phone and there is no return policy. So we are stuck with a phone that no one in the family likes and out $300. My mistake for not reading the policy before purchase.

The quality of the products

Accidentally bought the wrong phone and you wouldn’t let me return / exchange. Very disappointed and will be telling everyone I know not to buy Unihertz on social media and personal unless this is resolved.

My repair request was answered within one day. They provided a link to software which actually got my phone going again, free of charge. Friendly staff, great team!

Unihertz really came through on two different occasions. The first they were able to fix remotely, the second a replacement part was sent to me free of charge straight away.

Their response times were always great.
