It started off very well

It started off very well. Then it was delayed due to you not having any contractors to do the works.
Then one minute communication was very good, other times communication back from you was delayed by days!
The cash settlement was dealt with very quickly. Apart from a few hiccups it was a positive experience.

The two lads Adam and Arran were excellent, polite and knowledgeable Hard workers, who explained every aspect of what they were doing and gave us a clear explanation of what we can expect in the future. They offered to help if we had any problems or required further advise.

Awful communication

For an online company, your online communication is appalling. Communicating through the online portal took threats of going to the ombudsman to get a response on two occasions - you need to have a SLA for responding. Calling and I'm told to communicate through the portal. Nobody informed me of the process beforehand or during, leaving a hole in my floor from December until May!? Disgusting way to be treated. Truly appalling. Once the contractors were on site to actually complete the works in May, things moved fast and the contractors were excellent - only positive things to say about Bayliss. But the communication on the status of the claim and the 4 month wait from repairing the drains to then completing the works, with awful communication and response, was just a disgusting way to be treated.

AVOID! THEY’LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN

These scumbags refused my burglary claim mid application, before even giving me the chance to upload evidence of my stolen goods (which, by the way, is unrealistic because who takes a photo of their wallet, their keys, their passport, their power bank, etc.) and offered a pitiful “settled amount” that didn’t even cover the cost of a lock replacement. They made no urgent effort to get my locks changed despite the keys being stolen and when I called them, the lady cut me off mid call during my complaint! Absolutely disgraceful! The stress of a burglary is enough to send anyone into paranoia about the lack of security in their house and these people couldn’t be more happy to work with their pals Policy Expert to take your money and run, whilst excluding every possible claim scenario under the sun in their small print before you even pay!

Avoid these nasty vile humans at all costs! How can you even call yourself a human if you’re happy to profit off those who suffer and offer them no support at their time of need when they’ve paid you a substantial fee to *have* support for the year if things go wrong? They can rot in hell for all I care, save your money instead of buying a policy from them or their partner Policy Expert and, should something go wrong in the likely 10 years you’d ever need to make a claim for something that’s not even your fault, you’ve got a substantial head start!!

Portals aren't too bad

Hard to speak a human. Odd having to do everything via portal. BUT once got used to it, it is probably BETTER than speaking to a human.
More time efficient, no hanging on the telephone for ages plus definitive record of what was said and when.

5 stars are for S.R.Gill

Firstly the 5 stars are for S.R.Gill (not trinity claims). Ryan and his team were amazing! They were appointed to rectify the appalling work done by the previous contractors ‘Ace Property Solutions’.
S.R.Gill took on the job knowing the bad time we have had and went out their way to squeeze us in and completed the work in a couple of days. I lost a lot of faith in contractors until Ryan and Alex came about. Highly recommend them!

In terms of Ace property solutions… I’ll save that review for another day! One word…Avoid! If Trinity appoints them on your job REFUSE THEM! A job that I was originally told would take about 3 weeks… they were still in my property 3 months later! Now I’m back to rectifying their bodged jobs after having my baby and stress they put me through during my pregnancy!

Absolutely disgusting firm

Absolutely disgusting firm, they don't listen, aren't interested in sorting complaints and are not disabled friendly, quick enough to take payment but do all they can to avoid helping when issues arise, wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone
