Disappointing Customer Service, most unhelpful

We recently placed an order for 1,000 brass eyelets. As a small company, we did not open the package immediately after purchase. When we did so, we discovered that the order contained only 42 supporting washers rather than the expected 1,000 (that would complete the job). While we fully understand that errors can occur, we were surprised and disappointed by the response we received when we contacted customer service to discuss the issue.

At no point did we expect complimentary products; our intention was simply to resolve the matter appropriately, even if that meant purchasing additional washers. However, we were informed, in very definite terms, that such a discrepancy was “impossible” and that we must have misplaced the items ourselves. The tone of the interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, and no effort was made to investigate the matter further or offer a constructive solution.

This was particularly disheartening given that we have been loyal customers for several years and have always been satisfied with the quality of your products. Unfortunately, the manner in which this issue was handled has led us to close our account.

We hope you will take this feedback seriously and review the way similar concerns are addressed in the future, as the quality of customer service is just as important as the quality of the produ

Hello,
I'm sorry to hear that you're upset with the manner in which your query has been dealt with. We always strive to offer the very highest of standards with our customer care, and I have investigated your order history and communications.
I can see from our system that you placed an order in February 2025 for a quantity of eyelets; in August you contacted us to report that some of the packets were missing washers, my colleagues checked our existing stock and found all packets to be complete and correct, they also checked to see if any other customers had reported the same issue which they hadn't, but as a goodwill gesture it was agreed that a number of packs would be resent to allow your project to continue.
When you then called yesterday to report the same issue my colleague was attempting to explain that we had already replaced these items and that it was highly unlikely that the same issue would be present with the replacement as the stock had already been checked prior to the replacements being sent. Could it have been the original packs that you were reporting again by mistake?
I am sorry if you feel that our tone was dismissive or unhelpful but fear that your frustration may have led to some misunderstanding of what was trying to be conveyed.
We value your business as we do with all of our customers and welcome reports of delivery/contents issues so that they may be investigated and resolved in the quickest possible time.

Stud buttons

Order came on time for that I am great full. However the items don’t work . I wasted 2 bags on test trying to get the popper studs to work correctly. I watched a video to make sure I was doing this right. The centre punch seems to be to large . And deforms the studs. The centre parts of the studs do not catch the part correctly to make a good enough hold . .. a shame ! I have had Jean buttons from you before and they have been very good .
