Holiday cottages have been excellent and my property listing has great photos and accurate description .The management of bookings and my payments have been perfect .Holiday Cottages stands head and shoulders above their competitors because they provide a named property manager .The property manager is available by phone and email and this ensures all queries are answered promptly.My property manager is excellent Joice is always there to help answer my questions and ensure my property maximises all potential bookings .I can recommend Holiday Cottages without reservation.

Our meeting was very friendly and relaxed, and answered the questions we had straightforwardly and to our satisfaction.

In July of 2023 I engaged the services of Travel Chapter (holidaycottages.co.uk) to market our Holiday Cottage, Moon Cottage Wittersham (Property code: OC-M27683).
A professional freelance photographer came and took some amazing photos for the web presence incl drone shots.
Our bookings have been excellent with 81% occupancy in 2023-24, 89% in 2024-25 and this year we are already at 75%.
The service from Joice, our Travel Chapter manager is excellent.

I like the way the property is advertised and displayed, but most of all it’s the staff that make the difference. They are always there to help you to make the best of your property and to solve any issues. Also great to have a dedicated Account Manager who I can call at anytime for advice and help. Excellent service from Travel Chapter holiday letting my property since 2019. I have a dedicated Homeowner Account Manager who is approachable and available, she sends regular updates on how my property and the market generally is performing and provides me with useful advice on what improvements I can make to increase occupancy and revenue. The Account Manager visits the property when required and at least once a year, it's good to have a face to face meeting from time to time. My property books very well throughout the year due to it being listed on various Travel Chapter platforms - the marketing reach is fantastic and Travel Chapter arranged and paid for professional photographs. I receive regular updates from the company advising on legislation changes/requirements so that I can rest assured I am compliant with everything I need to be. The reservation system works seamlessly and I am paid in advance for bookings. The owner account is easy to use and I can look up all the booking details, party make up, finance, etc. I couldn't have had a more positive experience over these last six years. Bookings for this year are once again looking great, and there's even a couple in for next year already.

Don't use! This whole saga started when, with no prior communication, Travel Chapter (TC) emailed me, thanked me for my time, confirmed a meeting in March and said it was about renting out my property. This was 99% a mistake, 1% likely to be a scam, so I said no to it all, not least because I don't have a property to rent out. So I put a review on Trustpilot, received a boilerplate apology to the wrong problem and now they're hassling me for personal details. Don't touch. N

Excellent service all round. We enjoyed a great family holiday at Hafan in Saundersfoot. The local office in Saundersfoot were on hand to help. Would highly recommend.

As a holiday let owner The Travel Chapter markets our property well and we get many bookings.

Unfortunately had to cancel this holiday which we did with 2 months notice, plenty of time to re-book for such a nice looking property in a prime location. To my disbelief despite 2 months notice we got a generic mail claiming my £710 deposit was non refundable and a link to their T's and C's which i don't recognise as part of the booking process, who would agree to a non refundable £710 deposit. This is run through a 3rd party called Travel Chapter Holidays and is an absolute sham, i can understand a small booking fee or admin loss but not 100% of the £710 paid, this behaviour is an absolute scam claiming money for absolutely no service whatsoever, no explanation as to what losses i was covering, it would be a massive assumption from the company that the cottage couldn't be re-booked with 2 months notice and an even steeper assumption to claim the £710 was admin fee. Id be better off giving my money to an online nigerian price, absolute bunch of scammers...

As a property owner, we have been working with Travel Chapter - and with Holiday Cottages before them - for many years. TC is an impressive, experienced and very well-organised entity. Its instincts in communicating and advising, and its very impressive team of property managers - notably April and Hayley - and assistants in every respect are knowledgeable, courteous and efficient.....a great Business, and a privilege to work together!

Reading through the bad reviews, I couldn't agree more! I have had no end of problems with Travel Chapter since they bought out the company I previously rented my house through. I have been ignored by my account manager, there has been a huge turnover of staff, the costs have gone up and the management service has gone down, and I am not getting in nearly as many bookings as I would expect. Would not recommend at all!

As a former owner of a property formerly let through this company I am receiving demands for payment for a service that they could not have provided. I employ my own cleaner and they did not have a key to my property. Regardless of this, they are harassing me for payment. I don't know how to stop this behaviour.
