Think Free Solar Omdömen

5 star service for my EV charger, Jeff arrived promptly and carried out the work whilst answering all my questions and queries in easy to understand lingo, also set up the app and thoroughly explained how it all worked. Would without doubt highly recommend and use again

Great company, great people, keep you informed at all stages, used them twice now, nothing seems to hard for them. Fitters are great friendly people who look after your home whilst working. Highly recommended.

Team arrived promptly and got on quickly with the work.
They were courteous and tidy.
A good job was done.

I want to give 5 stars because the service from Daryl, Danielle & Jeff has been impeccable & continues to be. In the same vein, the service from Ben & John the electricians was equally to a very high standard. If I had to be slightly critical it would be purely based on the roofing team. Their tidying & precision wasn’t fully up to my high standards, finding the odd pieces of cut metal supports on roof. I’m sure if I’d have rung Daryl he would’ve got them removed but I shifted them. Ultimately, if someone wanted a recommendation I would still happily suggest “Think Free Solar” as I’ve felt very supported throughout the whole process. To fit 16 panels, inverter, three batteries & EV charger was all done within one day which was very impressive. I would definitely recommend being around on site on the day of fitting though to iron out any potential issues & it’s also very interesting tech.

Think Free Solar arrived at the time they said they would, were very professional in everything that they did, explained everything in language that we understood. They showed us how to access the information about our installation.
Daryl explained everything on his first visit and pressed Octopus Energy to sort out our Smart Meter which had not worked since being installed 27 months ago, this is now working correctly.
We would recommend them to anyone who is considering Solar.

I’m so pleased with myself, both with the amazing system that’s been installed which is immediately saving me huge amounts on my utility bills, and also with choosing such a great company. From the very beginning through to install, aftercare and advice Think Free Solar have been incredibly professional and very down to earth. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with their amazing team. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with ‘Think Free Solar’ right from meeting Daryl and doing me a quote for the correct set up for me to the installation of the system yesterday, the guys Ben, Jonathan and Geoff plus their scaffolding team were all spot on and nice guys…
Can’t recommend TFS enough if you are thinking of trying Solar for yourself !
Thanks again Andy…

Daryl and Richard from think free solar carried out a brilliant job at our house with there team. 15 panels, battery storage, gateway and 4 batteries all complete in 2 days. Great job free solar

Very keen and knowledgeable people. Came up with a great solution for us, and installed it very efficiently under tricky conditions. Good aftercare checking that all was in order and that we were happy with the system

Excellent service from beginning to end. Would recommend to anyone considering battery installation

Daryl came to quote, no pressure to buy at all. We did buy and all I can say is this firm is fantastic. The fitters did it in a day and they were very friendly. The electrician explained everything and we had a follow up call from Daryl to check everything was OK. 5 stars from me.

Great company, everyone I spoke to was very positive and helpful, Jeff did a great job again installing an extra battery.
Overall I would say that they are excellent

John and Ben cracked on with the cabling and battery install whilst the other lads did the scaffolding and panels. All done in 1 day. Leftveverything spotless too. Daryl had everything organised from survey to checking on the final work in just over a week. Can't recommend them enough. Looking at griends and families home on maps to see how many panels they could get!

We selected Think Free Solar as best choice out of 6 provider quotes to install our solar, battery and EV charging station at our home in Beverley. From initial enquiry through to commissioning the team were exemplary. Installation took just one day, including scaffolding, without fuss and with concern for us and our home, being respectful, polite and tidy throughout. Follow up has been good with questions answered promptly and any issue acted upon immediately. The appointed equipment supplier for Hanchu works closely with Think Free and they provided onsite assistance to swap out a faulty battery swiftly. Daryl, Danielle, Jeff and all the installation team have been very good and I have no hesitation in recommending their products and services. Well done Think Free Solar!

Bob and Tom arrived early unloaded the vehicle and got straight to work they were good quiet and tidy worked well throughout the day and explained everything I needed to know about the system took me through the app so I knew where my solar system was at work with in the house they were great

Excellent Service From Start to Finish

I’ve recently had solar panels and a car charger installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the very first contact, the team were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The installation itself was smooth and efficient, with everything clearly explained along the way.

What has really stood out, though, is the after‑sales support. Even though it’s only been about a week and a half since the installation, they’ve checked in several times to make sure everything is running perfectly and that I’m confident using the system. Any questions I’ve had have been answered quickly and thoroughly, which gives me real peace of mind.

It’s rare to find a company that combines great workmanship with genuinely caring customer service, but they’ve managed both. Highly recommended.

From the initial contact to the final installation, my experience with Think Free Solar has been nothing short of exceptional. Meeting with Daryl and Danielle to discuss my requirements was a breath of fresh air; Daryl is someone you can trust immediately. His open, honest approach is devoid of pushy sales tactics, proving he truly has the customer’s best interests at heart and is deeply passionate about his work. The installation team—Jeff, Jon, and Ben—demonstrated excellent workmanship and technical knowledge. They were professional, clean, and tidy, and the final result looks excellent. To top it off, the aftercare from Danielle was a 5-star experience.
I would highly recommend Think Free Solar to anyone. They are an honest, excellent team that genuinely cares about the customer and installs top-tier systems

After sales ✅

All fantastic, all exceeded expectations by a huge margin. I only wish I’d found this company sooner.
Highly recommended and if I choose to expand I won’t consider any other.

The company is very knowledgeable about solar and only sells you what you need making them a trusted advisor

3 days since the installation and we are already seeing savings and have had a positive environmental impact. Think Solar have been magnificent! The pre sales experience was great, they were extremely responsive and happy to answer all our questions, plus we had a site visit to an installation so we could see exactly what our set up would be like. The actual installation was brilliant. started at 8, commissioned at 3:30, everything cleared away and clear instructions on usage. I honestly cannot recommend Think Solar enough
