Had my solar panels and battery and…
Had my solar panels and battery and invertor fitted last September all had been good until the invertor went offline 4 weeks ago. They then became very hard to get hold off when I did they just sent me all the how to videos which I have done several times. They genuinely don't want to help from what I'm gathering they installed cheaper wifi boosters instead of fitting a wired connection to the invertor. Instead of coming out to rectify this fault a quick wired connection. They have just sent me the details of the insurance company but nothing is broken apart from the fact that they didn't do the install correctly. They will gladly take your money but when it comes to any problems good luck They suddenly are always on the other line or are out to lunch.

Thank you for your review — I’m sorry to hear you feel this way.
To clarify, your system was originally installed by UK Solar Experts prior to the company going into administration. As a result, Titan Energy is not contractually responsible for the installation itself or any remedial works.
That said, we have still made considerable efforts to support you. As you mentioned, the system was connected and working for over 7 months, which indicates the installation and connectivity were functioning correctly during that time. The issue appears to be related to a loss of WiFi connection rather than a fault with the inverter itself.
We have spent several hours assisting you via phone calls and providing guidance videos to help restore the connection. When this did not resolve the issue, we also supplied a WiFi booster free of charge as a gesture of goodwill, due to the poor WiFi signal at the property.
You also requested a hardwired ethernet connection. We did offer to arrange this for you, however this would require a chargeable call-out at £250, which you chose not to proceed with.
We do understand how frustrating connectivity issues can be and have genuinely tried to support you within the scope available to us.
If you would still like to proceed with a hardwired solution or need further assistance, please let us know.

So far so good with everything working as suggested. Just waiting on MCS certificate to take full advantage of solar panel plus battery system. Back office support has been very positive so far too.

Paid the deposit to secure a certain…
Paid the deposit to secure a certain price,didnt want to go further with the purchase in the end.
Tried 3 days to get in contact with someone to find out how and when I will get my deposit back.
It's been almost a week and all I've got is will get in contact with our accounts people to get your deposit back.
Still waiting...

Whilst the technical review was good
⁷Whilst the technical review was good, the sale was misrepresented as they say you get a full refund of your deposit, when you don't.
I was told despite the roof survey I would still get my full deposit back on a recorded call, which is the only reason we went ahead, under the guise of nothing to lose. At no point were we advised there was a charge for the roof survey. Only when I asked for the refund and queried why it wasn't the full amount did Bethany advise why, and only by email and thats the first we heard about it! on 19th March. After the event which is not acceptable! Very poor Customer service.

A refund of £400 was processed on 19/03/2026. As part of your project, a site survey had already been completed and the results provided. As explained on multiple occasions by Bethany, the survey is chargeable at £250, which was clearly communicated to you at least three times prior.
We appreciate that this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but we have acted in line with the agreed terms.

Incredibly helpful, clear, supportive, patient, and professional.
If someone had said to me before I connected with Titan that they would be this thorough, accommodating, and professional whilst being so supportive and patient when dealing all my questions and doubts, I would have said it was a joke or a scam thinking "nothing can be that good". But, my experience was all those things, and more. To get the whole system (27 solar panels, 2 inverters, 6 batteries) all installed and working in one day, well, it is incredible!
A new ASHP is being installed in a couple of weeks.
I'll report back after the ASHP for the final few words. I imagine they will say the same sort of thing.
Titan have done virtually everything, I am honestly amazed!

Excellent company only one complain i…
Excellent company only one complain i have got is the way they set up the app on the fox app there is a new up date I have try and try to down load it but no joy plus I actually think my app has not been set up correctly has the Soc cant altered them at all

Pigeons nesting
We had our solar panels by this company but was contractored out to a smaller company who did the work now we have pigeons nesting because they didn't put the netting all the way around. This small company as now gone bust & the company we payed expect us to come out to sort it. Discussing

To provide some important context, your solar PV system was originally purchased through UK Solar Experts, who were responsible for the design, supply, and installation of your system in 2025. Unfortunately, as of February 2026, UK Solar Experts entered administration and ceased trading. Subsequently, Titan Energy Systems acquired certain assets and customer accounts from UK Solar Experts to ensure ongoing customer support continuity where possible.
It’s important to clarify that Titan Energy Renewables was not involved in the original installation, workmanship, or subcontractor management relating to your system. The installation, including any pigeon-proofing measures such as perimeter mesh or netting, would have been carried out under UK Solar Experts’ operational scope and quality control processes. From a technical standpoint, incomplete installation of bird deterrent systems (e.g., gaps in mesh perimeter sealing or improper fixing methods) can unfortunately lead to exactly the issue you’ve described.
Since the acquisition, we have taken responsibility for providing ongoing technical support and aftercare guidance to affected customers. However, as we did not undertake or oversee the original installation, we are unable to offer free remedial call-outs or warranty-backed corrective works for installation defects.
That said, we are absolutely here to help you resolve this:
We can arrange for one of our qualified engineers to attend and assess/install appropriate bird-proofing measures. This would be carried out as a chargeable service.
Alternatively, you will have received an Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG) at the time of your original installation with UK Solar Experts. This policy is specifically designed to cover situations where the original installer is no longer trading. We would strongly recommend contacting your IBG provider, as they may be able to arrange remedial work at no cost to you.
We truly regret that you’ve been impacted by circumstances outside of your control, and we understand this is not the experience you expected when investing in solar. While we cannot take responsibility for the original workmanship, we are committed to supporting you in finding the most effective resolution moving forward.

Excellent Service
Amazing! I phoned Titan, and within 4 days, they had fitted an extra battery to my solar panel installation. First, a lorry arrived with the heavy battery on a pallet, and then the two-man team turned up and quickly fitted and tested the battery. Amazing as I live down in Devon a great many miles from Titan's headquarters.

Legit deposit scheme. Great communication
Great communication, dedication, understanding, and totally legitimate 100% insurance backed deposit.
My father approached titan hoping to improve his solar system. A deposit for works was taken but when it turned out not to be the right thing for us the deposit, as promised, was retuned in full.
Everyone I spoke to at titan was well trained on the phone, took time to listen and truly seemed to care for their customers.

Very professional, friendly company
Very professional company with friendly staff. Nothing to much trouble and consult at every stage. No hard sell just an on line zoom meeting, then if you wish a surveyor will come and talk through options. If not they will not bother you like others do. Brilliant system covering all of our electricity and making money as well. However after a few days the "App" from the makers showed faults. I thought about looking on the web but when I did I saw an email from Titan telling me not to worry as it was the outside company who had a temporary problem and within an hour the app was back on. No problem was still making us electricity Could not fault this company

From first contact to installation we felt we were well treated by experienced and helpful people. The way that the initial quote was put together with us through an online discussion was really helpful and helped us to understand the benefits. The surveyor helped refine what was best, installation went well and we have been helped by other staff at Titan. So far so good after a week!

Our solar journey
On our solar journey: The decision to go Solar was a simple one, savings are worth very little, so it made sense to invest in something that had a real return.
I got around 4 quotes and having tested the market we went with Titan. From the initial meeting with Chris, to the survey, everything was quick and professional. On agreeing the installation everything went perfectly. The scaffold company chaps were great, they turned up on a Wednesday, installation team were great friendly chaps that were a pleasure to have around, completed by 2pm on Thursday and then scaffolding removed on the Friday.
All in, a super friendly, professional and painless process.
If you are taking the plunge into Solar I would recommend you speak to these people.

From the first contact with Titan Energy, then on to the survey, and installation of the Solar System, was carried out professionally. The install technicians carried out the install without any disruption. The area was left clean and tidy after installation and all debris removed.
