Think Free Solar Omdömen

Think free solar was recommended by my parents after they had an install part year. We were unsure if solar would benefit us as a family or even how much it could. Daryl was happy to come and talk us through the process and using our previous usage he was able to calculate which kind of system we needed and also which battery storage would help us save the most money. We can ere given plenty of time to consider the options and there was no pressure. Different types of payment plans were offered which made it an easier decision to make. The work was carried out efficiently and staff came back numerous times to ensure the system was working appropriately and to make sure that we were happy with the install. A big factor for going with think free solar was knowing that their after care and a very good. They check your system is working well long after the install, ensuring that your system is generating the maximum benefits.

Such great service from start to finish, happy to answer all your questions and will help wherever they can. The fitters were very considerate and everything happened when it should. When there is so much choice in companies, these reviews help you to decide

I've been thoroughly impressed by Think Free Solar through all aspects of their service.
I had a solar/battery system installed 2 weeks ago at our house and I couldn't be happier.
Daryl's initial visit was really informative. He quickly understood our specific needs for the house and specified a tailored system with no pressure selling.
Once we decided to go ahead there was excellent communication regarding the date, scaffolding and the process.
The installation day was really impressive- the whole team were prompt, polite, very friendly and worked really hard to complete the job on the day and left late with zero mess. All I did was make tea.
Thank you to all involved - I can highly recommend this company.

Excellent company and fantastic customer service. After meeting Daryl and Jeff I was completely put at ease with there knowledge and there understanding what I was after. They were very professional and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. The day came for installation of the solar, nothing was an issue for them and all the staff were fantastic, they cleaned up after themselves and left everything tidy.
I will be recommending Think Free Solar to friends and family.
I can't thank them enough, and for there attention to customer service.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I have searched and researched solar and batteries for nearly 6 months, having had a number of shady sales people come round and sell the dream. I put a post a social media platform asking for advice and Tom offered advice on a Sunday with no sales pitch. I contacted Tom to provide us with a quote which he did, after looking at our property he came up with a far better solution than everyone else that made sense.
Ben and his team carried out the Installation in a quick and professional manner, they also changed a few things on the day to make better use of space. I cannot thank Tom, Darrell and the installation team enough for their service. In 2 days I have already recommended them 3 times.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with Think Free Solar. From start to finish, the customer service has been excellent, the fitting teams were professional and did a fantastic job, and the aftercare has been second to none.

A special mention has to go to Daryl, Danielle and Jeff. These guys genuinely go the extra mile and do exactly what they say they’re going to do. Even when I’ve needed help out of hours, they’ve been there to sort things out—nothing ever seems too much trouble.

I’m extremely satisfied with the solar panels and batteries I’ve had fitted, as well as the service I’ve received since the installation. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that does exactly what it says on the tin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar to anyone considering solar panels and battery storage.

Superb experience from the first conversations to the final instalation. Daryl couldn't do enough to ensure that everything was as he would want it if it was his house.
The company has good community values which is important to me. I would recommend Think Free Solar to anyone

Wonderful service and staff. Very helpful in guiding through the quotation and selecting the best solution for my case. Engineers arrived on time early in the morning and were very nice and polite. Completed the installation on time and to a very good professional standard.

Daryl and his team were fantastic! Providing a first class service throughout. His team were prompt and efficient on the install day and the aftercare is superb. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely first class from initial phone call, to the amazing install to the present day with continued support and fine tuning. System is performing better than expected but doesn’t stop the team trying to improve even further.
I would not hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar Ltd, this company is first class!

Genuinely couldn't fault the whole process. Daryl handled the initial design and was excellent, he answered everything I asked before we committed - and there was a lot of questions!

For the actual install - the scaffolding team were spot on, up the day before the install and down the day after, so no weeks of it sitting in the garden. The panel installers were brilliant, really good guys, and the electricians were also great - tidy, quick, and happy to explain what they were doing as they went.

A 12.5 kWp array with 28 kWh of battery storage is not a small job, and it was handled properly from start to finish. The support since has been just as good, which is honestly such a relief. I would recommend them wholeheartedly - and I have, my in-laws have recently had an install as well!

Excellent work by Think Free Solar, they quoted within hours of initial contact and arranged installation of inverter within days. Attended on time, completed a very tidy job and answered all my irksome questions clearly. I would definitely make contact for any future panel work.

Think Free Solar have recently installed solar panels and battery storage at my property. The whole process has run extremely smoothly and I am really pleased that I chose Think Free solar. From Daryl's initial visit I knew I could trust the company, he was very open and knowledgeable with no sales talk, just facts, and the examples of aftercare - monitoring of systems post install and revisiting if not performing as expected, is what sold me on them. They weren't the cheapest quote I had but when you are outlaying a fair sum of money, you need to believe that the company will deliver and they certainly did. The install team, including scaffolders, arrived as planned and were all professional and efficient. Think Free Solar have a great team including Danielle in the office who kept me updated on progress. I highly recommend them if you are thinking of having solar panels installed.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Been thinking about getting solar for a couple of years, but never got around to doing it. Daryl was very informative about the whole process, and explained everything in detail and put our minds at rest. The scaffolders came the day before installation and were very polite and got on with the job. Installation day came, everybody involved were brill, got on with job, explained what was happening at every step. Cleaned everything up afterwards, even all packaging. Would recommend Think Free Solar to anybody thinking of getting solar. And a big thank you to Danielle for sorting tariffs and answering any questions we had, once again a very big thank you for making a very big decision for us so stress free. And a big thank you to all the team involved.

Can't speak highly enough of Think Free Solar; from the initial meeting with Daryl to the installation everything went smoothly and the team were fantastic. The scaffolding was put up the day before and taken down the day after installation, just as we were told, and the installation was surprisingly quick. The panels look great and have been performing well, despite a downturn in the weather. The team have been so helpful and friendly. Ben even waited when I was delayed getting home from work to help me install the app on my phone and explained how everything worked. Danielle and Lauren were helpful and friendly and made everything so easy. I would not hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar to anyone thinking of getting solar panels installed.

Even from the initial consultation we had a feeling we were going with the right company and it was the way to go. The set up was done to our requirements and electric usage. Daryl, Tom and Danielle are very friendly, helpful and approachable. If I had any questions about anything they were happy to answer them no matter what time of day or night. The fitting date was Monday, scaffolding went up Friday and was down on the Tuesday which was great. The scaffolding lads were excellent and very careful with installation round the house.
Fitting day my wife was a little nervous about it but she said she shouldn’t have been as Ben, Al and Angus were lovely people, very professional, courteous and friendly. They tidied everything up at the end of the day and left everything spick and span.
We had an issue with two batteries being damaged, not their fault, they stayed until it was sorted out and ended up doing an eleven and a half hour shift. Well done lads.
Daryl and Danielle have even sorted out our electric tariffs so we are on the best one for our usage. The after sales experience is just as good as the fitting and I know that I am going to be looked after in the future. It’s been a great experience from start to finish.
If you are going solar then go Think Free Solar you definitely won’t regret it.

From day one meeting Daryl put our minds at ease as he was so knowledgeable and reassured us along with his expert knowledge as there many solar installers out there that are just interested in taking your money without the care that Think Free Solar do. The job when we’ll scaffolding up the day before and one full day for the installation all the team was respectful and very polite and knew the job well I would definitely recommend Think free solar and personally give them 5 stars plus ******

I can't praise Think Free Solar enough for the incredible job they've done. From my very first enquiry right through to the final switch-on, the entire process was smooth, professional, and completely stress-free.

A massive thank you to Daryl, who was absolutely brilliant throughout. He provided complete support at every stage and responded to every single message I sent almost instantly — no question was too small, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It made such a difference having someone so reliable and knowledgeable to guide me through the whole journey.

The installation itself was flawless. The scaffolding went up the day before, and the team arrived bright and early to get everything done. By the end of the day, the scaffolding was already back down and the whole solar panel and battery system was up and running. The installation crew were fantastic — friendly, tidy, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain everything and make sure I was happy with the setup before they left.

Thank you to the entire team at Think Free Solar for such a seamless and enjoyable experience. I genuinely couldn't have asked for more, and I would recommend this company to anyone considering going solar. You won't be disappointed!

We recently had solar panels installed, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was brilliant and the team kept us informed every step of the way with clear, prompt communication.
The installation was carried out professionally, and everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand. What really stood out is the aftercare and ongoing support. The team has been fantastic, always happy to answer questions and happy to provide help whenever we've needed it.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering solar panels. A first-class service with excellent communication, outstanding aftercare, and genuine customer support. Thank you Think Free Solar Ltd

What a great experience. I spent months researching solar, comparing multiple quotes and proposals before deciding on Think Free Solar. Not only was their system exactly what I was looking for, but their price was also the best of the bunch.

I was a little worried it might be too good to be true, but the installation day couldn't have gone better. The team were friendly, professional, respectful of our home, and left everything spotless. The office staff have been brilliant too, helping with a configuration change just a couple of days after the installation with no fuss.

From the initial quote through to after-sales support, the whole process has been excellent. I'd happily recommend Think Free Solar to anyone considering a solar and battery system.
