So far I am pretty happy
So far I am pretty happy. Still waiting for critter guards to come off back order and be installed. It is a process to get everything checked off and switched over from previous provider, but wasn't hard to do. Have not had any power issues since installation so that is a plus.

Sunrun promised me a check for $400 due…
Sunrun promised me a check for $400 due to damage while installing my Solar System. Although the damage was estimated at around $3,000 the 400$ dollars was their offer and no more. The check was supposed to have been mailed on August 16 2026 and was estimated to take one to two weeks. I have talked too about 10 different customer service people and have gotten 10 different answers on what could be going on with the check.On 9/17l2026 escalations contacted me finallyand said that he would be letting me know what's going on as soon as possible and from that date 9/17, I have not received any communications. in spite of me reaching out for answers. In addition I am not getting any solar production and have received a bill to pay Sunrun. I feel like they are playing games and treating me like am not Human.

Horrible service from the start...don't use them~!
I have had solar with this company since they were vivint, far too long. I unfortunately have their product on both of our homes. Huge mistake. I have one bad experience after another since they have installed the panels. For the past almost 12 months, I have asked them to fix the auto pay on my other account. Our rental house had additional panels put on, another huge mistake. For some reason, they have to have them under separate accounts, it seems as if they could combine the two, but nope. It was been on auto pay forever, but each month I am told that one of the accounts is past due. At one point one of their amazingly clueless customer service reps told me that that account was linked to my primary home. Does that sound ridiculous to anyone else? They said if I paid the balance, they could separate the two accounts and put it with the bill of the house it should be on. If you have ever dealt with sunrun, you will know they didn't do it. In addition to them not fixing the issue, I am told each month I need to contact my tenant for their banking information. Each month I have put their information on the account. Each month the incompetent person on the other end does not fix the mistake. In addition to the billing issues, I don't feel like we have been saving any money on our electric bills in either house. Dealing with them is a never ending source of frustration. Once or twice a year a representative of theirs knocks on my door trying to have me add additional panels. I tell them every time that I hate their company and that I have no desire to ever work with them again. They always tell me maybe they can do something different to make me feel differently about them, they can't. I recommend using any company but them. They are horrible from start to the never ending contract.
