Sunlight hat uns nicht wegen einem früher gestarteten Flug informiert. Wir sitzen nun auf rund 400 € / 27.450 Philippinen Peso.
Achtung!! Nicht gut wenn alles klappt. Ändert sich etwas, bekommt man keine Info und kann sich nur noch selbst helfen. Nie wieder Sunlight @Sunlight.

Traumatize experience!!!

Nov.7, 2025, flight to coron from Manila, terrible and dangerous for every passenger, it was so hot inside the plane. How could they let that plane fly, my grandson could die and my daughter who has cancer. 45 minutes with that heat, we could all die with stroke. It was so traumatize experience to fly with sunlight air, and I thought their costumer service is worst, but being on air on that plane that day, I thought we all gonna slowly die in pain.

Cancelled flight

I booked two tickets through their service. The first flight was moved forward by one hour, which fortunately did not cause major issues. However, the second flight was moved forward by two hours and ultimately never departed. There was zero communication regarding the cancellation—my money is gone.

Air conditioning non existent and no wifi. Asked what airport flight was coming from and was sarcastically told it’s “invisible”as the staff member stuffed two biscuits in her mouth. They simply do not care

Dont use this airline! …

Please be advised not to use this airline even if you’re attracted to lover prices.
Cebu to Coron is heavily and frequently delayed. Delayed by email 1-2 days before and then delayed at the airport. At the airport, there is poor communication with no hint of explanation or apology.
On the way from Cebu to Coron, passengers were invited to embark on the plane, only to be made to wait in a bus for 45 minutes on the tarmac next to the plane.
Frustrated passengers were made to watch as two guys very slowly unloaded and reloaded a small number of cases on to the plane.
Please take heed if you don’t like waiting between 2-4 and xtra hours.

Horrible airline Dont Use

Horrible airline, horrible customer service.

Flight was due 11:10, day prior changed to 14:20, then you arrive at the airport size of a kiosk and another delay "maybe at 15:00" and the reason "late plane".

Do not use if you don't like chaos and extreme disorganization. Now lost a whole day of holiday due to them being utterly chaotic and useless when it comes to having things done in times they advertise. Not to mention one way flight Coron to Boracay with luggage was 140euros, so not only super expensive but also utterly useless.

P.s. customer services lie to you too. I had 2 emails confirm as I have connection of 30min in Clark I will not need to deplane, now at check in story changes and I will have to change planes. My God how stressful and time consuming this shitty "boutique" airline is.

Pire compagnie d’avion

Pire compagnie d’avion, le vol est annulé à cause de pluie (2R 857), toutes les autres compagnies parte sauf celle-ci, même pas d’appel faut se lever et demander des informations, au comptoir on nous propose un remboursement sous 60-90 jours, ou un autre avion le lendemain mais l’hôtesse nous déconseille car la météo demain est pareil, aucune autre solution, pas de dédommagement, pas d’aide, pas de compensation de logement. RIEN RIEN RIEN, et pour eux tout est normal

Amazing Airlines ⭐⭐⭐ Very…

Amazing Airlines ⭐⭐⭐ Very accommodating, helpful, and friendly flight attendants/Cabin Crew. They are very friendly with children as well. To be honest, I believe they are better than Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Air Asia. Flight was ontime and arrived earlier than expected. Leg room is very spacious as well. 10/10 Good Job Sunlight Air, and hoping you expand your airlines all over the country and hopefully international as well. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience 💛

I will never fly with Sunlight Air…

I will never fly with Sunlight Air ever.

We booked with Sunlight Air last July 2025 because of their seat sale. Instead of going with Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines, we decided to try them since they’re a boutique airline.

Originally, our trip was from September 20–22, 2025 for my 30th birthday. But around the 2nd week of September, I found out our flight was cancelled without any SMS or email notification. I only discovered it by manually checking their app. When I called their CSR, they said the aircraft wasn’t available. We had no choice but to rebook to September 27–29, 2025. It was already inconvenient, but we tried to understand.

Now here in Siargao, the same thing happened again. When we checked in online, we were shocked to see that our return flight was moved to October 1, 2025—again without any notice by SMS or email. We called CSR, and they simply said it was due to “changes” and only offered:

A refund (which takes 60–90 days)

Travel credits

Another rebooking

We explained that we couldn’t accept those because we need to be back at work by September 29. But they still refused to assist us in booking another airline or provide alternatives.

This is beyond frustrating and very unprofessional. Two cancellations, no proper notifications, no real solutions.

This will be the last time we ever fly with Sunlight Air.

That said, despite the airline disaster, Siargao is still Siargao and we made the most out of our vacation.

SCAM!!!
Sunlight Air is the worst company i have ever had the (dis)pleasure of giving my custom. They cancelled my flight a day before, offered a refund and have yet to pay it (over four months later). They do not answer emails, calls, or online messages. Do not book with this company.

Never again with Sunlight Air

First and last time with Sunlight Air! The flight was canceled, which we found out an hour in advance. They shift any form of communication to Trip.com. Sunlight Air takes no responsibility for anything. It has cost us about 200,- / 250,- per person in expenses. Compensation was a bottle of water and dirty banana chips. If you choose Sunlight Air, you're asking for trouble.

Still waiting for a refund 4 months later

I booked a duplicate flight on Sunlight and realized my mistake 1 hour after booking. When I contacted them via email, they confirmed that I would be able to get a refund. After 1 month, nothing. After contacting them again, they said to wait 60-90 business days. DON'T DO THIS. After this time, the period to dispute a transaction with my credit card has passed and I'm solely reliant on Sunlight to issue the refund as promised. I would just issue a chargeback once you have email confirmation of the refund provided.

Dissaster!!!

I strongly advise everyone not to book with this airline. My flight was canceled without giving any reason. I only found out about it while I was waiting at the airport. I was stuck in Coron for six days and then put on a plane whose departure was unclear. In retrospect, I realized I could have been put on a plane much sooner. I received no compensation.

Worst airlines, 100% dishonest

This is the least trustworthy airlines or company that i have ever done business with. They cancelled my flight 2 days before the flight, so I had to buy a new ticket on another airline, of course at a much higher rate. They delayed and delayed and delayed about a refund. Promised they would, but never did. I have many emails with them and they just continued to lie. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE, DISHONEST COMPANY.

Avoid Sunlight Air

Flight cancelled, no assistance at all.
The company approved my refund request on March 18, 2025. I have been told the process takes 60/90 days. I am still waiting the reimbursement. I strongly recommend to avoid Sunlight Air.

Inconsiderate Airline

The First flight we went on was good nothing bad happend until when we need to go back to our home they sent a Gmail but we didn’t have The signal in the house of my grandmother so we received the message that they already changed the flight to 9:10 am instead of 11:20 am so we waited in the airport but the speakers weren’t clear enough for us to hear so we didn’t know our flight was cancelled the next flight we are going to ride is 6:00pm then we have to go home to Cavite when we land to Clark so they didn’t even consider that I hope the next time I fly Sunlight air it is not like this
