We only lost £500 to SR Motor group, in comparason with others, we got off light. After making a deposit on a car that needed some repairs before final purchase, we were told by Simon ,
that was best to make final payment in full before collecting the car, "as it saved a long time waiting for the bank transfer to clear"
knowing this to be untrue, alarm bells started ringing. I only wish I had not been in such a hurry, & checked their customer service history first.
However the policy we had with them stated;
" The deposit less any expenses incurred, is refundable in case of cancellation of this order"
So I called and emailed my cancellation twice, before a minion got back to me, Whose first response to my request was "What Policy!" but then said. "The full amount of the deposit
is taken up with expenses, it would need to be relisted on Auto Trader!" FOR £500!!
What a Nasty company, Keep Well Clear.

My husband saw a car that he wanted to look at and purchase, I was a little bit wary but we went there a couple of weeks ago and took the car for a test drive.
Ben was very helpful throughout our purchase of the car he arranged a service and mot on the car before we picked it up last week, we was very happy with the service we received from Ben and would highly recommend him and the garage.

Nice team that were professional and attentive. Vehicle was clean on collection

Lovely and easy transaction. We have been looked after by Ben. Done everything for us. Nice customer service and atmosphere.

We called at sr motors as we were looking for an estate car. We had a look around saw one went into showroom chatted to Bailey and he then showed us some other cars they had online. Went home & then decided to have to,look at car . Spoke to Ben who was extremely helpful arranged for us to have test drive. Chatted to us about the car and if we were to purchase what we would also get. We decided to purchase car and Ben went through the paperwork and date was chose to collect. We today met with Ben to collect our new car, everything went smoothly. Ben was helpful knowledgeable knew what he was talking about his customer service was amazing, friendly &met customers expectations credit to the company.

Ben was knowledgeable, helpful and great at his job! I was super anxious about car shopping but he made me feel completely calm throughout the whole process and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Everyone in the dealership was friendly and I was even more excited when I was told I could have black alloys instead of the silver! Great service, definitely recommend! 🥳

Having read these most horrendous reviews....Page after Page of them.....going on and on.....All with the same message......AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
I have decided to do just that!
I had paid £500 deposit to Simon and the Finance was all in place.
I have told CarMoney to cancel my application.
I said get SR to send my money back.....James said I'll try.....I replied you won't try you'll get it back....or I'll get it back!
Thanks to all the unfortunate customers who wrote these reviews.....I'm sorry for your bad experiences but your reviews have saved me from the same fate!!
This Dealership shouldn't be in business.

Excellent service provided by Ben and Bailey when I was hunting for a car in a hurry. They listened and helped myself through a sticky situation when I needed a family car quickly. I will certainly be recommending this dealership in the future and I am one happy customer with the Vehicle I have acquired. It was beautifully cleaned, serviced and a simple transaction to ease a difficult time. Thank you!

Awful people, awful business. Avoid getting ripped off like I and so many others have before (I wish I had read the reviews here before buying from them). I bought a Mazda 6 Estate that immediately started creaking horribly. SR Motors could not have been less helpful. Ignored my emails, didn't answer my calls (I once rang them three times in a row with no answer, rang again with my number withheld and they picked up immediately!). There is always an excuse - manager is away, waiting to hear back from somebody blah blah blah, they strung it out as long as they could before saying it was for the warranty company to deal with. Of course the warranty is utterly worthless because they won't cover a fault that the car is sold with. I've been left with a 2 and a half grand bill to fix the fault that the car had when I bought it and a huge number of regrets about trusting these horrible toerags.

Brought a £16.000 car from this garage only to find blue smoke coming out of exhaust which they said they would repair.
Gave me a filthy smelling loan car which I did a check on to my horror it had no MOT or TAX
Got the car back which I purchased only to find now the car is blowing even more blue smoke and now to add to it the engine is now rattling, took the car back for a refund, to cut a long story short
We have had to chase this garage over and over being to no one available to issue a refund lost count of how many times I called them, only to be told sorry that person is unable or we will call you back, which they do not.
Absolutely horrendous it has taken 10 days and the threat ofaction to get money back. SERIOUSLY AVOID THIS GARAGE FROM HELL.

Bought a car from these cowboys.
Car lasted 3 days.
Took it back and when you ring they are never at their desk or with someone.
Lady who answered promised a call back, at least 15 times and guess what…. Nothing.
I will be getting a full refund plus my expenses.
UPDATE. THEY NOW REFUSE TO REFUND ME MY MONEY SO ITS OFF TO SEE MY SOLICITOR.
DO NOT USE THESE IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Don’t use this garage. Something wrong with every car, they will try and sell you a dream but do not fall for it. Simon is a fraud

bought car febuary after 10 days car broke down drive shaft had gone after many arguments agreed to fix it after 3 months car has broken down cam belt garage are just not interested not there problem never had such poor service, and rude staff dont get fooled by the sales person after sales is shocking sold us warrenty not worth the paper its written on still today car is off road but still have to pay finace company for car we cannot use

They don't even deserve a star! I would not recommend anyone purchasing a car from this dealer. They sell faulty vehicles and won't take accountabilities for the repairs. I bought a Ford kuga in January 2024, and a week after buying the car the engine management light came on. I explained this to the dealer and they refer me to the warranty company. after getting the car checked at a Ford's dealer, because no other auto center wanted to take the job on after they ran the diagnostic, I found out that the EGR valve needed replacing and fitted. After doing so, the engine management light still remains. The car judder when you drive it, even went into limb mode. I have been to two different auto center, and the reports came back with multiple faults!! Brake disc front and back is gone, engine oil leak, erro code (issues with the engine) and the list goes on. Most of these aren't covered by the warranty and now I have a car sat on the drive way for nearly 3weeks! Because SR motors don't respond to emails, nor do they answer my calls. At one point I was blocked!. Its very disheartened to think I have other commitments to attend and im restricted by a car that I thought was in good working order. I did my research, and it had no advisory! And the service that they claims to have done in Dec 2023. Was not showing on any auto center system that it was completed, and the document which they took over 2 months to provide, is blank! Am fuming to say the least.

I WOULD advise chosing a more recommendable dealer. As SRMotors swindon is NOT one of them. They take your money happily, leave you to suffer WITH A FAULTY CAR.

This must be the worst car dealership there is. I cannot imagine and have never come across one so bad. Unless you want within a week of ownership after purchase from this "car dealership" a model car Sat on your drive unable to be used, and enjoy paying a large monthly sum to need to walk in the rain and take buses, please learn from my mistake and stay well clear. Unfortunately I trusted the broker @car247finance to review a trustworthy garage and wish I would have read the reviews previously. Now going into my third week with no car. Trying to reject the car after taking their terrible advice, paying for a local diagnostic with nine engine faults and then the AA to find the same faults to be told neither the local garage nor the AA have any clue what they are talking about. Even included in the AA report is the obnoxious and rude manner the driver and we were spoken to as customers from this supposedly car dealerahip. They completely ignore any emails sent. Want me to pay to recover after waiting to advise to bring the car back when I dont have the available miles until the engine cuts out, or drive an unsafe car back to them which has 37 miles until the engine will fail and I live 160 miles. I have two young children with hospital appointments upcoming and nothing. No decency in their bodies. Shocking shocking experience all round from as someone else put, pretty much the car dealership from Matilda. Doubt this will do much good to the garage as I honestly don't think they care about their customers one bit but maybe their director Rahim Samsudin Nenshi will see this review and actually do something about the dealership he is director of.

Please don’t buy from these cowboys and liars,Niaz and the owner ray just shouldn’t be trading,try to cover up oil leak and after 6 months of waiting without a car I paid from my hard earned money the car was rejected by finance company,no consideration for my family safety they just should not be trading,disgusting customer service,please don’t buy from these especially a grey Audi Q7 they are trying to resale

Awful awful place. Sales staff are the worst types of people you'll have the pleasure to meet in your life. Everything they say is as worthless as them telling you the car has been checked over. Please read the reviews on here and go elsewhere for your car, it's not worth the hassle and stress of having to deal with people who are utterly void of human decency. They just don't care about leaving you out of pocket so long as they get their commission.
