Terrible company
Terrible company, very bad workmanship, and customer service is bad. They seem to find any old contractor to come to the job. In this case, it all went very wrong. I am chasing for the insurance details this company talks about in their contract, but I have yet to be provided with any update, as this fantasy ride continues

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Their organisation is woeful, the quality of work poor, communication not good, integrity questionable.
Following the installation of a heatpump, our property was left in an appalling and unfished state. Their contractors ripped up floor coverings and floor boards with no regard to reinstating properly leaving us to finish off the job. Add to that shocking plumbing with pipes all over the place, not fixed properly with some joints leaking causing serious damage.
If they spent as much effort doing a good job as they do chasing payment, maybe a different story.
I would not recommend this company.

ASHP Installation
Lalit at Simple Green energy was fantastic in getting my installation going. He applied for the grant, co-ordinated the heat loss survey and got things going very quickly. Vishal then took over on planning and designing of the system for installation, while explaining every question I had as I was very sceptical on the ASHP. The ASHP was installed by the team. Everything went smoothly, installation only took a couple of days without any interruption. Final tweaking had the ASHP up and running as it should. I can't thank Vishal and his team enough for doing such a super job. From getting the grant to installation, they did a great job.

Back boiler removed and combi boiler fitted…
Had fire back boiler removed and had combi boiler fitted. The gas engineers had a big job to do but complete it in one day, staying until 11.30pm, after asking us if that would be okay. We could not fault them, they went above and beyond. Excellent job, would definitely recommend the company and the fitters.

Poor experience with this company
Poor experience with this company. They apparently applied for an Ec04 government grant for a new boiler and loft insulation. Despite fitting the criteria and the boiler being 25 years old apparently I didn't qualify but good news we can fit your loft insulation and extractors for FREE under the grant. An appointment was made to complete the work but with 3 day to go the company rang to say grant was less than they thought and could I make a small donation of £1000?!!!!!!. I of course cancelled.
I have since asked for a quote from a local installer and no surprise he quoted around £1000.
I definatly would not recommend.

Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company, we were eligible for a grant for our insulation and they withdrew our funding last minute so that we could no longer get a grant from elsewhere but offered us 'discounted rate' to pay them instead. A massive con.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re genuinely sorry for the frustration and disappointment this situation has caused.
We’d like to clarify that the change was not made by Simple Green Energy. Under the UK Government’s 2026 budget update, the ECO4 and GBIS funding schemes were officially withdrawn/scrapped, which resulted in many installers across the industry suddenly losing access to funding allocations. This was unexpected not only for customers, but also for many accredited ECO installers.
Unfortunately, once funding is removed at scheme level, we are unable to proceed under the grant route, and customers may no longer be able to transfer to another provider either, as the scheme funding is no longer available.
We completely understand how this may have appeared, and we assure you there was no intention to mislead. The discounted private option was offered only as an alternative for customers who still wished to proceed with the work.

Under the eco flex scheme I had loft…
Under the eco flex scheme I had loft insulation fitted which was done well. Ventilation extractors fitted next to my existing ones ? Why and the mess was unbelievable. 6 weeks later still waiting for my new boiler and I cannot get a reply from the company. I have terminal cancer will I live long enough to see this boiler???

One electrician and two loft insulation installers. Electrician fitted two extractor fans explained his installation and listened to my requirements. Two insulation installers quietly and efficiently got on with their job.

Avoid this company at all costs!
Professional and friendly. Did the work to a high standard, cleaned up afterwards. Would highly recommend them. Vishal was fantastic and helped throughout the process.
Update June 2026 - as per the inspectors recommendations I have been chasing Vishal to come and fix issues that require urgent attention but despite being told that they will come and fix the issues no one has come back, it has been 6 months now! My email and phone calls have been ignored. This is not acceptable and I would not recommend this company.
