Signature Cashmere is a family-run business owned and managed by Robert and Katy Appleford. Located in Kent, England, we have been selling high quality pashmina and cashmere clothing since 2003, when we first launched Passionate About Pashmina. We have a long-lasting relationship with a reliable and trusted supplier in Nepal. Our supplier, Jitendra, has a small factory employing 25 local men and women in Kathmandu. Jitendra started his business in 1998 and has always produced the highest-quality pashminas and cashmere clothing for us. Our garments are expertly hand made by skilled craftsmen and women from the local community near Kathmandu. Our supplier also contributes to the local community by sponsoring two places at a local orphanage, which supports children with HIV. In 2022, we rebranded our business to become Signature Cashmere. We continue to provide the same high-quality pashmina and cashmere clothing and we are still Passionate about Pashmina! Over 20 years we have established a loyal customer base and we are proud to have served thousands of satisfied customers, a large number of whom come back to us again and again. We aim to provide unparalleled personal service to our loyal customers, with satisfaction guaranteed, and we are always happy to help our customers choose the right items. Our aim is to be both friendly and professional, and we hope that our customers continue to be delighted with our pashmina and cashmere products.

I was sent the wrong pashmina
I was sent the wrong pashmina in terms of both size and colour - and having ordered on a next day delivery for a specific event there was no option to rectify the situation. This was extremely disappointing. In addition the fabric was very fine unlike pashmina’s I’ve purchased from other companies. In fairness this company admitted the human error on their part, then tried to sell me the wrong pashmina at a 30% reduction. But ultimately gave me a full refund including postage with one week.

Lovely pashminas
The pashminas arrived quickly with good communications. Very good quality of fabric. Unfortunately the colours were not as I wanted and the Saphire blue pashmina was slightly coarser in texture than the others,maybe an effect of the dye. I returned 2 of the 3 I ordered, which was a very easy process and money returned promptly.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service. I ordered a wrap which subsequently was out of stock so was offered the stole in the same colour at no extra cost. Having used the Colour Guide the colour was the perfect match for my dress shoes and bag. Very efficient delivery.

The customer service was so personal from Robert it was so refreshing from a company. Thank you for that . The item I purchased was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately too fragile for my requirements but I very much appreciate Robert trying to help me to find something more suitable . Would absolutely recommend this company . Delivery and returns are flawless and quick and customer service is exceptional.
