I placed an order totaling £90 on Friday, 19th February, but the delivery was set for 23rd February, despite the site promising next-day service for such orders. On Monday, 22nd February, I learned that one item was unavailable, and I was informed of a refund—quite disappointing to hear three days post-order. Additionally, the delivery partner frequently updated delivery times without available tracking. Initially, I was given a time frame of 11:18 AM to 1:18 PM, for which I left work, but it was later changed to 4:48 PM. Though Shaalis offers an excellent range of high-quality products, the delivery uncertainties detracted from the overall experience. I'd prefer visiting a local Indian store to pick up items directly in the future.

Fast Delivery, good selection
I have used a couple of Indian online grocery shops and Shaalis has been the best by far. Good selection of food, very prompt next day delivery, which is much better than others who say 3-4 days and in some cases it doesn't get delivered at all!
I have hopefully found a reliable supplier for Indian groceries for my mum that I will continue to use.

Worst customer service experience avoid at all costs!…
Worst customer service experience that too not once but twice. The 1st time around lesser weight of the item ordered was sent despite sending repeated e.mails and pictures no refund was given. This happened months ago
More recently again one of the product was completely unfit for use. As always they act like they are looking into the matter and request pictures and emails as a first step but till date no refund has been sent. Not sure what they achieve by cheating the customer.
Please avoid ordering here at all costs. There are many more customer friendly places who dont cheat their customers.

Very Unprofessional company
They are literally fooling the customer. First they told me that they deliver on Wednesday & Saturday at Westminster Bridge, when I placed the order on Friday, they said that we are sorry can't deliver before Monday. When l didn't receive the order on Monday, I called them up, they said that your order has already been delivered on Saturday. Neither have I received the order till date nor my money has been refunded. In fact they are passing on the buck to the delivery company. Would advise everyone not to deal with them, they will harrass you for the delivery.

A friend of mine gave me Shaalis…
A friend of mine gave me Shaalis details and I did my first order, which was delivered the same day. The vegetables were so fresh and a very good quality. Prices were so decent and I appreciate their prompt service and customer service. I ordered again and was so pleased with the other items too. I have recommended Shaalis to many of my friends and I will continue buying from them. They even refunded my money for the goods that I returned, promptly. Thank you Shaalis👍
