Hannah was so engaged when we were looking for a suitable home for my father in law. She responded quickly and followed up all enquiries. We wouldn’t have found the home without her help. We had to move Ken from the Lake District to Brighton which was potentially problematic but Hannah was extremely helpful with all our queries. I would happily recommend her!

Unresponsive, bombarded with spam, even though mother deceased
I can't be constructive at all. This company continually bombards me with emails and texts about my search for a care home, even though I have informed them of my mother's death. They don't respond to phone calls, emails or texts asking them to stop. The named contact doesn't reply. Absolutely dreadful. They never even found a care home or anything...

BEWARE HIDDEN CHARGES
I am only giving them one star as there is not an option to give none. They claim their service is ‘completely free of charge’. When something seems to be too good to be true it usually is. What they don’t tell you is that their fee can be passed on from the care/nursing home.
I have recently found this out when my Mother passed away and the nursing home deducted Senior Homes Plus fee from the deposit we had to pay. They charged £2000.00 for one emailed list with three nursing homes on it! We had to call these homes ourselves and arrange visits etc. we raised a complaint with Senior Homes plus and requested a refund of this fee as they had ‘mis-sold their services to us. An advisor called Jake Saunders strung us along for several weeks before informing us it was beyond his grade to deal with such complaints and suggested we emailed someone who is on maternity leave! Together with the fact that their head office is somewhere in Europe (I believe Belgium) there is very little chance of getting any resolve! My advice is to not touch them with a barge pole but if you are desperate enough to enlist their help, do not sign up with them and just contact the suggested homes yourself then you will not be liable to any fees. Be warned, the care sector is out to rook people at every possible opportunity. Our next step is to go to Trading Standards and if necessary legal action in the hope of exposing them to a much wider audience.
