Failed CF card, but was replaced quickly

Had very few card failures. My not often used 8GB Ultra CF card, stopped working. Fortunately, it wasn't anything important photos wise. The returns process was fairly simple, you do have to provide photos, and submit a claim. However there was no cost to returning the card, (pre-paid UPS), they tested it and replaced the card with a new one.
Bit disappointed the card failed, however the warranty did cover it.

Ho avuto molti problemi con le loro schede di memoria, ma...

Purtroppo io ho avuto perdita dati con prodotti loro ed una rottura inspiegabile di una ssd sandisk di medio livello, mentre la estraevo da una pentax k70 o da una nikon d7200.
Non ho la certezza assoluta rispetto a dove si sia rotta la scheda, so solo che ho fatto fatica ad estrarla dalla seconda che cito, poi.
Ciò nonostante sono rimasto positivamente colpito dalle risposte ricevute dopo la segnalazione fatta via email alla loro assistenza, riguardante ben tre diverse schede memoria alla fine, utilizzate tutte solo su apparecchiatura digitale fotografica.

Non so se riuscirò a soddisfare tutte le specifiche richieste tecniche in relazione alle schede problematiche, ma la percezione mia nell'averci avuto a che fare è stata di grande attenzione nei confronti del cliente oltre che di una straordinaria propositiva professionalità (sensazione che se devo esser sincero, non avevo mai avuto nemmeno con brands altisonanti).

faulty sd card

I had a faulty sd card, it was so very difficult and time consuming to get a replacement under guarantee:
Take photos of minutes number on card! Package in plastic wallet, 3 copies of paperwork. The whole process took weeks. The sd card worth only a few pounds but the postage to return cost many times more. Really bad for the environment and climate change. Really disappointed with a global company with green credentials.

Uitstekende service.

Uitstekende service.
SD kaartje kapot na 5 jaar gebruik. Hier zit 30 jaar garantie op, dus het bedrijf een mail gestuurd. De dag erop werd ik gebeld met aanbod van een upgrade en uitleg over de procedure

RMA STOLEN! Worst packaging ever!

Got a replacement SSD sent over, and STOLEN over the mail. Of course, the packaging had Sandisk SSD written all over.

CLUELESS about handling RMA stuff, should have been sent in a nondescript package!

Garbage

Garbage, bad memory cards, bad camera SD cards. Unreliable memory devices. Lost my data over and over.
Just lost a load of pictures off one of their junk SD camera cards. Had many failures of their USB pen drives. Which are the same ones that overheat, but it isn't a problem. Of Course.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Unreliable

Buy cheap, buy twice.
Sandisk memory cards are unreliable at best faulty at worst.
I've bought too many of their SD cards and USB drives none are functional at this time.

Clés USB Sandisk Attention Danger !!!

En déplaçant des fichiers de sauvegarde de ma clé USB Sandisk vers mon ordinateur le clé USB s'est mise en protection écriture. J'ai essayé toutes les méthodes préconisées pour enlever cette protection écriture mais c'est impossible. Pour le support Sandisk effectivement il y a possibilité que la clé USB passe en mode protection écriture. Ma clé n'étant plus sous garantie je ne peux plus rien faire. Je ne peux plus accéder aux dossiers qui sont encryptés. Ma clé USB est devenue inutilisable. C'est anormal que Sandisk bloque les clés USB et ne propose pas un déblocage, c'est de la malhonnêteté .

Totally useless Customer Services Dept

I have used SanDisk micro sims for years in my Dash Cameras and other items, I recently had TWO faulty micro sim cards, I had them authenticated by SanDisk and had to return them, they continually stopped and started working in my Dash Cameras. I got a label from SanDisk to send them back, I took the items into a local shop that deals with the Courier
SanDisk uses and it was sent away, six weeks later my items were returned to me with no INVOICE AS THE REASON IT WAS NOT DELIVERED, It was going to Poland I believe, SanDisk has advised me that the case is closed, this is my case number.]

J.T. Yes they are the NUMBER 1 GARBAGE YOU CAN BUY. BEST GARBAGE ON THE MARKET.
Got another return label from Sandisk sent the items to them again, contacted them again, they have a record of the items being received, but cannot find them, and can not give me any answers about the TWO FAULTY 128 Micro Sims
Keep clear of them, they appear to running around like HEADLESS CHICKENS, My items had to go back to Poland, why do they not have a Customer Services office in the UK.

Complete garbage

Complete garbage. I've lost so many memorable photographs and videos that I will never recover using their sd cards on my fujifilm camera. Two different cards, both corrupted after a few uses. One was able to be chkdsk recovered, the other completely unusable..Is it because the cards cannot handle high-definition photographs?? I don't understand how sites list their cards as number 1 unless i'm assuming that they are the sites paid sponsors which is highly likely.

Faster than its parent company WD but few changes needed...

Sent a faulty Micro USB Device back to be replaced under warrenty and followed the instructions yet the item is now sitting in Lost and Found in Poland because they refused to accept it as there was no invoice information. Three invoices were given to the UK UPS driver and one was placed inside the parcel as requested.

Was going to give this one star but since talking to Seagate they see it was rejected and sent a replacement straight out which should be here tomorrow. Only reason this didnt get 4 is that the instructions were followed but were rejected, some other people had the same issue and were told that three copies should have been in enveilopes attached to the item...seagate need to update their instructions.

Support und RMA beispielhaft

Ich benutze seit vielen Jahren die Speicherkarten von SanDisk in meinen Kameras. Und natürlich treten bei häufiger Nutzung auch mal Probleme auf. Doch bei SanDisk war ich damit immer auf der richtigen Seite. Die 10 Jahre Garantie sind kein Versprechen, sondern werden auch konsequent umgesetzt. Ein paar Speicherkarten habe ich so im Laufe der Zeit ersetzt bekommen. Und nicht nur ersetzt -. bei etwas "älteren" Karten wurden im Austausch bessere Modelle geschickt. Das nenne ich Service vom feinsten.

Terrible customer service.

A rant from me for poor customer service. My micro SD card developed a fault, it cannot be read by any device but it has a 10 year warranty and my card is just over a year old.
I contacted SanDisk the manufacturer, they take 24 hours for every reply and it goes like this. “Can you take a photo of the faulty card”, this I do. “Can you take a photo of the rear of the card”, I thought this was blank, “sorry the photo is not clear enough we need to see the serial number”. I didn’t even see a serial number as it is less than 1mm in height. Have you ever tried to photograph something that is barely visible as it’s so small. “Have you tried the card in any other device”, yes I have already told you that. “In that case can you print off the label and letter, put the letter in the padded envelope and find your local UPS agent to return it to us”. Following the instructions to the letter I go to my local UPS agent 5 miles away and I am told sorry we cannot accept this as we need 3 copies of an invoice attached to the outside of the envelope. I contact SanDisk again and I am told, “yes that is the procedure”. So I ask why didn’t you tell me in the first place. “Sorry this is my mistake I should have told you that and that you need a special envelope to contain the 3 invoices. I will make sure in future that I don’t make the same mistake with other customers”. I then mention the time and expense and the fact I cannot find a special envelope in my village or town and I am told that is the procedure for a return. They are missing the point, the card cost £10.63 a year ago, the return is costing $29 dollars. Why don’t they just send me a new card instead of employing someone to put every obstacle in the way to make customers give up and not continue a return. Every answer I received I had to wait 24 hours for so you can see how long it’s taken to get nowhere. This makes the 10 year warranty worthless.

Unreliable sd card.

Unreliable sd card.
Bought 32gb for Raspberry Pi 24/1/21.
Unusable- showing 30mb, in bin.
Will not buy this brand again.
Customer Service needed proof, sent screenshot of receipt but also wanted a photo of failed card, not searching for it in rubbish. Now Sandisk not replacing a 5.99 card, quoting this and that like a robot, no good will, poor service. If this was a part worth hundreds I'd understand, but for 5.99, jumping through hoops, nope.

Ignore hardware design problem.

I bought a USB-Flash drive, that has been commented/reviewed a lot in many forums, because it probable has a hardware design issue, causing it to become very very hot (just below 70 degree C).
1) I've burned myself on it, when deattaching it from my laptop.
2) The plastic around the USB-connection on my old desktop actually melted (visual deformation), after attaching this SanDisk device to it.

Despite of that, the SanDisk continues to ignore this problem in their customer-service
ONLINE RMA SUBMISSION [Incident: 210125-001361]

Due to that I have bought my last device from SanDisk privately and will stop anyone trying buy , during my work as an engineer.

Did not uphold warranty.

Replaced everything on my device, but the sandisk. Still the same result. 3 year warranty with not even a years use. Spent 2 weeks with back and forth emails, all they gave me was excuses. Said it was my fault. Put in a competors memory card, no problems since.

Can. G from SanDisk, outstanding customer service.

This morning I tried to use a 32GB SanDisk Ultra SD card that has for some reason developed a fault. I made contact with SanDisk UK Via web chat which was lightning fast, no waiting for hours, told the advisor Can. G my problems, I gave them the tiny serial number on the back of the card and just like that they are sending me a new card.

Now that is customer service. Never had to spend hours searching for my receipt, no sending proof of purchase via attachments, just went off the serial number on the card, gave my details and done.

Why can all companies not be as good as this with customer service personnel that know what they are doing?

Outstanding and a welcome change from what is currently becoming the norm, poor service, excuse after excuse with the COVID19 number one on every companies excuse list.
