3 Months and still no Warranty Replacement

Have bought SanDisk products for my IT company for over 15 years. One of our SD Cards failed after a couple of months and we started the warranty process in Jan 2023. The amount of paperwork you have to fill in (plus create an account with them, send pictures, serial number, create a RMA) seemed a bit over the top. They paid to have it collected by UPS to send from the UK to Poland for warranty checking, and after a month messaged to say they will send a replacement. It's now March 2023,
no warranty replacement has arrived, no updates. I chased them up and they say they have supply issues. I can understand them wanting to screen against false claims and make the returns a bit hard, but seriously? It must have cost them at least £50 in postage and labour already, just for a SD Card I can buy off eBay or Amazon for £9 and have arrive next day.

Wow shocked how bad Sandisk are

Wow looking at the other reviews I was really suprised, Sandisk should be at least a 4 star company. My Sandisk SSD stopped working and I sent it back under warranty. A month later UPS (Sandisks partner) sent the empty envelope back, someone had slashed open the parcel and stolen the drive!!!!

UPS have been less than aweful, with their systems not working for a claim. So Sandisk/Western digital at least said they would replace the drive. So from early December 22 to March 23 nothing has happened! I have chased via emails and directly on their horrible customer portal and the answer is always the same. They say it is being processed and I will receive shipping details shortly and every time nothing. I won’t hold my breath for the £109 lost by UPS and Sandisk.

Appalling customer service.
I returned a faulty SD card under warranty in January and Sandisk Western Digital still have not replaced it and fail to respond to my enquiries. I will NOT buy Western Digital or Sandisk products again.

$450 drive failed on 2nd use

I purchased a 4 TB Extreme Pro SSD V2 drive which failed on the 2nd use. 4 emails and multiple calls to the company, including emails which promised a manager call back within 30 minutes (there was no call back) I neither have a refund nor a replacement.

Heel slecht

Heel slecht. software bij usb stick werkt niet, geen support voor europa, virusscanner merkt software aan als trojan, geen hulp, krijg pas support bij invullen serienummer maar staat er niet op. etc.

Old and badly programmed support software! And WD does not care - even in the warranty period!

I find it absolutely horrific that Western Digital are _not_ properly supporting their products - not even while they are under warranty! My issue was/is that the unlocker software for both WD MyBook harddrive/raids and Sandisk external SSDs (and probably more products) are totally un-suited to high-resolution screens. The user interface is _tiny_ on a "standard" 4K notebook screen (text height less than 1mm!).
I for one am absolutely done with buying and especially recommending WD/Sandisk products. Even though the hardware seems great, bad software is definitely ruining the user experience! >:-(

PS: The infuriating response from WD (= we don't care our currently selling product are shipping with sh1tty/old software - and for sure we won't spend a few hours updating it):
"I understand that you are using Sandisk Security to password-protect your device, but due to the high resolution of you display the application window appears very small, I will try my best to assist you.
Sandisk Security does no longer receive updates from Western Digital as the application is significantly older, which can cause such incompatibility issues on larger displays and newer systems.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. You can continue using the application normally."

PPS: What a disaster a company like WD was able/allowed to buy SanDisk. I've been a happy user of their flash-products for years. But in the future they can sell the new stuff to customers that don't mind sh1tty software and missing support... >:-(

Sandisk Clip MP3 is cheap and will break

I literally have a graveyard of 4 sandisk clip MP3 players. the clips break and they wont warranty them without difinitive prrof of purchase. nobody keeps a receipt for a year. I recommend a different brand of MP3, one without a cheap clip that will break easily.

Does Sandisk have a self destruct…

Does Sandisk have a self destruct feature when it reaches 3 years? I bought three 256GB drives a little over 3 years ago. I used one as a main backup and the other 2 as periodic backups for recent files. A couple of months ago, ALL THREE started having problems at the same time. I kept getting messages that the drive had problems and needed fixing.

Diese MicroSD- Karten sind zum 1. Schwer entpackbar,wegen Blister,also Kundenfeindlich.
2. Zuviel Plastik
3. Wegen der Verpackung auf Werkzeuge wie Seitenschneider oder Teppichmesser angewiesen.
Empfehle daher die Werksschliesdung.

Hi: Please Read: My Whole Review: I bought a brand new: SanDisk: Clip Sports Plus: MP3 Player. I never used the Clip, on the back! I always held My MP3 Player, in my hand. I am not a jogger either. The Clip: Started Cracking On the back. I am a Very Neat & A Careful Person. It Worried Me! To Use it, like that! I Contacted The Retail Store. They had no more in stock & not getting anymore in. They suggested calling: SanDisk: they could Help Me! I did! I was on the phone for: 2 hours. It is very Difficult, to Navigate their Phone System. I Finally got: Allan M. On the phone. His Language, was very hard to Understand. He kept putting me on Hold! A Long time. Then when he got back to me! I got disconnected! I had to keep calling back & figure out what area I clicked too. I got: Allan M.again. He put me on a long hold again! Finally, I was able to talk: with Allan M. I told him the problem about the Cracking Clip, on the back, of the MP3 Player. He knew: I was Very Upset! (He Said: I Quote: Do Not Worry, You Will Get A New One, Sent To You!) Then He Sent Me A Form, For: Replacement: To Fill Out! The Form: Was So Small Print! So Hard To Read! I Was Not Able To Enlarge It! I Still Managed To Fill Everything Out! To My Knowledge.I Sent: Allan M. A Message: I Filled Out The Form. I Waited: No Response: I Then Sent A Second Message: To: Allan M. Again No Response! I Knew Then, I Was Being Ignored. So, I Am Here To Let People Know About This Company! 36Go sauvegardés, tout a disparu !! À fuir !!

J'ai sauvegardé 36Go qui ont disparu sans la moindre raison et voilà ce que je trouve à la place : "Please do not modify the contents of this directory. Added files will be deleted automatically."
"Veuillez ne pas modifier le contenu de ce répertoire. Les fichiers ajoutés seront supprimés automatiquement."
Quand je lis les informations concernant la clé je vois "Modifié : 31 décembre 1979"!! Clé totalement corrompue achetée il y a 4 mois utilisée une seule fois et un service clients lamentable qui ne cherche qu'à se protéger.
Je ne dirai pas clairement ce que je pense de cette société ce serait censuré !!

Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB-C and USB 256 Go - VERY VERY VERY BAD product

July 2020, I buy a 256 GB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe with USB-C and USB.
September 2020, this key is no longer recognized by my computer (Mac or PC, USB or USB-C). I have lost all my files.
Sandisk will replace it free of charge in the following weeks after I have contacted support (as under Warranty...)
July 2022, same problem. I just lost 17 GB of important data.
Unreliable product. Total disappointment. And I turn to other products.
NEVER AGAIN SANDISK.
It's 2 fails... 2 times too much.
Sorry for not finding something positive.

Update
After contacting customer service, they spontaneously offered to replace the flash drive.
So cannot complain about their service. Good customer interest and respect.
Now as I said, the trust in this product is nevertheless a little bit damaged…
It is a pity, because very nice and practical concept to have both USB & USB-C connecting…

Langsame Supportseite

Im Januar habe ich versucht eine RMA für eine Micro SD Karte zu bekommen, auf der noch Restgarantie ist. Hab alles sauber auf der Seite ausgefüllt, Bild und Rechnung geschickt usw.
Nach 1 Monat wollte ich wissen wie weit der Bearbeitungsstand ist. Daraufhin sollte ich meine Handynummer angeben. Was ich auch gemacht habe. Frage ist mittlerweile geschlossen und RMA steht weiterhin auf pending. Die Seite ist extrem langsam (was meiner Meinung nach wahrscheinlich San Disk nicht ungelegen ist) und macht das Bedienen zu einer Geduldsprobe

Plusieurs fichiers aléatoires disparraissent TOTALEMENT, sans AUCUNE raison.
Je travaille dans un milieu ou c'est très handicapant d'avoir un SSD NUL comme ça.
(Biensûr j'éjecte toujours mes disques avant de débrancher)
Je ne recommande à personne, vous prenez des risques à mettre vos donnés sur un truc aussi instable.

Appalling customer services.

I don't know which country their CS is based in, but they certainly don't understand English very well.

Two of my USBs have become faulty and it has been almost a month now and I still haven't received my replacements. Every message I send, it takes a few days to receive a response, and to top it off, the response doesn't even addresses the issue - so frustrating!

I don't think I'll ever buy another sandsik product again.
