Fraudulent customer service, laughably unreliable products.

I had one of their mypassport drives (Western Digital own Sandisk) fail on me for no reason. I sent this back - they don't even pay for return postage - how cheap is that? A replacement was sent out to me. Ridiculously this one failed after only 3 months of occasional use. Again I returned it, once again having had to pay the postage myself. There was no response from customer service after a number of weeks so I asked for a follow up. Eventually I got a response claiming that the hard-drive had been tampered with by me and that I would be denied a replacement. This is 100% false. This is literally the worst product experience that I've ever had. From other trustpilot reviews I don't seem to be the only one who has had this lie used on them!

Some products are okay. However, we bought a subscription to their cloud service: "UPthere", then the service ended last year. We chose the option to have all of our photos and videos put in their "Parachute" to access later. However, now we can't access it. Their customer service reps didn't understand the problem, just repeating that UPthere was ended, then told us "sorry. cant helps"

Advertised SD card memory 512GB.

Actual SD card memory 476GB.

That's 33GB difference!

Sick of Scandisk's false advertising claims. I wonder if they do the same thing elsewhere and misrepresent the size of, well, other things in their lives too.

I have purchased 5 different sandisk micro sd cards and 4 of them have failed. I have followed all the precautions when using such as safe ejection procedures, but to no avail. I will not purchase this brand again. Ripoff products.

Bought 2 SDHC micro memory cards and the 10 year warranty appealed. The 1st one stopped recording on my CCTV after 2 days and they say using in that way invalidated the warranty. Yet the 2nd works fine!!
To be fair it was the seller that said it was suitable for dash cams and cctv but I think SanDisk should make that clearer. They did agree to replace

I have seen some reviews saying their data was lost. Data doesn't exist unless it's in 3 different places, so use, where possible, as a backup, not as primary storage.
Do full formats not quick too.

I, Demetrie, had contacted them yesterday on a broken micro sd and the guy on the other end of the phone call was very helpful. He was willing to replace my card even though the damage was not covered by the warranty. Also, my wait time was under 5 minutes and my email came within 24 hours. I have had a previous micro sd I used in my PSP for two years now and no corruption to my files at all. With genuine PSP memory cards at the same capacity, the data would usually corrupt after a certain limit. I will definitely be buying from them whenever I need to store data on a new device of mine.

Mp3 players last forever. I bought my first sandisk mp3 player in 2008 and it is still going strong even though it has been through several years of travel, stuffed in a backpack, 4 years in a mining job, and once getting caught in a monsoon and having visible water in the screen. It dried out completely after awhile and went right on working as usual.
Last year I bought another with more storage. This one had an issue with holding a charge so I wrote to the company. I sent in my defective device and they replaced it with a new one that is working perfectly. Customer service was excellent, they always reply within a day or two.

I bought this card I'm good faith and was so dissatisfied with the packaging and failure of this product.i needed extra memory and it didn't do anything! I'm about to loose $38.000.because this card doesn't work .due to the Corona virus I have neither transportation to town or the $ to keep buying duds. I will most certainly file a law suit against SanDisk for the thirty eight thousand they have caused me to loose and three times that amount for all the ainxiety stress a health risk taken to procure yet another dude, I so trusted this company to deliver what was promised . instead I have lost any means of income .the packaging was ridiculous.trying to open this was beyond stressful.unless you carry a knife good luck trying to open this thing. A true business man or respectable company would not promise to provide a solid product but instead decive and steal people s $. . this is no way to run a successful company.my word means everything and I stand by my word.but SanDisk has no intention s to be honest & trustworthy.. this is why America is failing because being g dishonest is rampant & people don't stand by their word,,, ( used car salesman is a better word for this company. I have no other option than to pursue legal action due to negligence..

I have used scandisk for 10 years now I and have had nothing fail.From my tablet from 10 years ago with a scandisk sd card and my new scandisk extreme sd card from a month ago its quality has never failed me.The sd card from 10 years ago still works to this day.We use it for linux.Always buy scandisk.

I purchased a Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16GB usb as a back-up for all my documents and photographs but when I tried to access them they were ''unreadable''. I contacted Sandisk and there is a fault with this product and the only thing they could do was to format the Cruzer Blade using a download from their website to ''fix'' the fault. All my documents and photos were lost and Sandisk stated there was nothing further they could do to retrieve them but suggested I might look at paying for a another company to try and retrieve the data ! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SANDISK AGAIN.

Just had a 64mb sandisk ultra micro sd fail after only using a few times, purchased from amazon just over a year ago.
This morning i have tried to find an easy returns process for a card that claims to have a ten year GTE and have got know where when going online to find out how to return it.
I am no longer willing to spend more wasted time on an item that should have a very easy returns set up.
Very poor sandisk i have approx thirty different cards from you over the years, what a shame this will make me look elsewhere in the future.

Le bug a été résolu en 5 min.

2 usbs , plus backup have broken in the last month costing me months of hard work down the drain. do not buy sandisk

NEVER using a sandisk sd card again! , spent an afternoon filming nothing wrong throughout the the entire day , looked back at footage etc , return home and everything just gone with one corrupted file, has rendered all my work totally pointless!....thanks

they are all absolutely useless. the usbs dont work and forget customer service. just don't buy the product. they are all faulty and crap

I purchased a IBI Smart Photo Manger from my local Microcenter.
All was good until I tried installing the ibi Windows App on my PC.
"Failed to install due to incompatible Operating system".
Box the IBI came in says it is compatible with Windows 7+.
What the box or any other document I could find didn't say was it requires a 64 Bit OS. Mine is the old 32 Bit.
I am using a link Tech Support confirmed with me as a workable substitute.
All else works well so far.

Bought a SD card via Amazon a few months ago. The Card was in my tablet all it's life but now its broken for some reason. All data lost and no answer from SanDisk customer support yet... Hope they'll improve their customer relations by sticking to their promises aka "lifetime warranty"

Great sd cards.

Sandisk extreme cards are good for dashcams.
Sandisk ultra cards are good for cameras.

Every sandisk product I have owned has failed. paying 20% gets you a product that lasts more than a year or two.

Cheap inferior products. I've been using anywhere from 40-70 microSD cards each year and over the last 4 years almost every Sandisk MicroSD card has failed, become corrupted, slow, and problematic.

These are junk. Thus far I have been fine with Samsung, Patriot, and Kingston cards. But all of the Sandisk cards are awful and SanDisk won't do anything about it.
