Disgusting customer service.

So I have been using SanDisk products for many years and they have been excellent, not s single problem until a couple of weeks ago. My 1.5tb MicroSD developed some kind of fault and was completely unresponsive no matter what I tried.

So I went through the troubleshooting with a SanDisk representative and after exhausting that, we agreed that it was an RMA case and needed to be returned.

I packaged the card with the appropriate paperwork and sent it tracked to the correct address. The packaged was confirmed delivered last Friday 9th May 2025. complete with a photo showing the package being received.

I left it until Monday and then thought I had better inquire about it as it was still showing as not received.

A SanDisk employee went through the tracking with me, I showed the proof-of-posting receipt, showing it had posted it and then proof-of-delivery, showing a photo their employee had received it. I gave an exact weight of the package and also an exact time of when they received it.

Despite all this precise information, they are now refusing to escalate this inquiry until I can find out the exact name of the employee that received the package!

I have no idea how to obtain this information, this is their last message to me:

If possible, please try to contact Royal Mail and ask for the proof of delivery with the weight AND name of the person that received.

If you cannot provide this information, you will have to wait until the package is received by the system.

Terrible service

Had an SD card within warranty go faulty. Set up a returns to repair/replace. Several weeks later nothing. I have emailed them. Still nothing. Absolutely disgusting service

you can buy their product on amzon if you really cant go without for a reason or another but do not buy directly from them because their price are not the cheapest but more importantly I TRIED TO CANCEL AN ORDER 5 MINS after i made one and its been a hell of scam since them, they pretended they will contact back, they also pretended a return was already started in their system but they cant see who made it (it s impossible since i call them first, so who would have started it) but whats more they started an accoutn for me supposedly to follow the progess. The next day that account doest exist anymore and access to it is revoked, like i tried to connect to it the next day to see whats going on. What's more is the money was taken from my bank account so the cancellation never happened and she didnt send me an email as promised to assure me it was cancelled. They are a dishonest company

Unreliable Tech

Just wanted to warn as many potential buyers as possible. My experience with the SanDisk Professional 2TB G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD, Encrypted NVMe Solid State Drive drive was terrible!!! Fast yes, reliable NO!! Drive stopped being able to be unlocked buy phone (which is the whole idea of it). Phone said pairing was corrupt use recovery key, tried the recovery key (saved when the disk was set up) no joy. Multiple emails to Sandisk did not resolve the issue and several folders of imagery were lost. Fortunately the majority of the drive was backed up else where. So conclusion is this drive is unreliable and I would not recommend it for either day to day use or as a backup solution.

Sent a return back but they claimed I sent back an empty box and would not refund my money.
I sealed the taped the return myself. There's NO WAY that I returned to them an empty box!
There are other companies to purchase drive from. Stay away from SanDisk.

Spamming

These guys have been spamming me for ages, I have tried unsubscribing to numerous emails but every time I click the unsubscribe link in their email the page 'This site cant be reached'. Sort it out or I will complain to the Information Commissioner.

Wish i could rate this negative

Wish i could rate this negative. Bought a hard drive but received a totally different model when the order arrived. I requested a return, and sent the incorrect item back. Now Sandisk is telling me they cant process my return because i returned the wrong item. What else could I sent back to you???!!! Unbelievable. At least it wasn't an expensive purchase...

I didn’t ever think to check the reviews as I assumed Sandisk were a reputable company. Turns out their customer services is appalling.
I ordered a 1TB Pro SSD 4 weeks ago. UPS set a 2h delivery slot 3 days after my order so all seemed good. But it didn’t arrive. I left it til the end of the week to see if they’d reschedule but it became apparent it was lost.
I spoke with Sandisk to advise and I just kept ‘waiting longer to see if it arrives’.
This repeated and repeated and just now, 4 weeks after my order they have raised an investigation with UPS which will take 10 days. They’ll get back to me after that.
I asked several times if they’d send me a new package but they won’t do anything until the order is investigated with UPS.
2 days ago I’d had enough and bought the same disk on Amazon which arrived yesterday.
But now looking through these reviews it seems the reliability may be as poor as the customer services.
What a joke!

Avoid SD Products & Especially Avoid Buying Manufacturer Direct

Product was damaged/defective. I called and asked for a replacement, but they forced me to do a return and then re-buy. When i made the return the item sat in their warehouse for almost a month and then they now claim I sent back a completely different product. Would strongly recommend avoiding SD products altogether, but if you must buy them, DEFINITELY DONT buy from SD directly. The customer service is very poor, Seems like someone in the warehouse is either swapping out products or there is just blatant incompetency going on there.

All SSD drives have problems

All SSD drives have problems. Even the PRO is disconnecting by itself randomly. In my company we have several disks and both the PRO are problematic. A 2 Tb from the previous version, suddenly dead. A WD 1 tb with metalic case, dead...
I will stick to Samsung or Crucial from now on... I recommend you to do the same.

Not a customer friendly company

I wish I could give their customer service a negative rating. I had a terrible experience trying to get help for a faulty 512GB USB stick. They made me use several software tools to test it, and eventually asked me to send the faulty product to their facility in the Czech Republic. They shipped it at the slowest possible speed, and it took 10 days to arrive. Then, there was complete silence. When I followed up 5 days later, they claimed they only registered the replacement on the day I emailed them, and said that was the day they officially received the faulty product. After that, there was no further communication from their side. It took over a month to replace a small USB stick ( I am still waiting for a replacement).I can only imagine the nightmare if I had bought data centre hard drives or dynamic drives from them.

Compré tarjeta SD 256 GB y me envían una de 128 GB, he comunicado a través de un chat con ellos 2 veces, también por correo desde su propia pág web y han pasado 14 días y no se nada de ellos. He visto algún comentario aquí de otros países que pasa lo mismo y no te hacen caso. Me ha pasado además en la propia pág oficial de SanDisk. Compré a través de Paypal y acabo de reclamar (vamos a ver si paypal funciona) , después si siguen así iré a la policía a denunciar. Este es mi número de reclamación 250220-001883 y este es el número de mi pedido 88342949. Seguiré actualizando la información a ver como se resuelve este caso.
Actualizo. Hoy día 7 de marzo he vuelto a hablar con ellos por chat y me han enviado una etiqueta de devolución por UPS. Seguiré actualizando. Hoy día 19 de marzo me han devuelto el dinero.

They wont let me place an order

Tried over 3 days to place an order, using debit and credit cards all not accepted. Also had a valid discount code but that wasn't accepted? Contacted support who told me debit cards could not be used even tho in T&C payment terms says they accept debit cards. Appalling customer service!

SanDisk is a absolute joke

SanDisk is a absolute joke. I ordered x2 micro sd cards but they only sent me x1.
I have emailed them time and time again asking them to send me what I originally ordered but it seems to be falling on deaf ears!
So far I have lost out on around £6, I am disgusted with this company on how they treat their customers. They keep replying to my emails saying they have escalated the problem, it's been several days now and nothing has been done at all!

Scam Disk not SanDisk... (Shame on them!)

They should be called Scam Disk.. I had a son who gave me money so he could use my debit card to buy a 2 TB sdxc card.. The card was purchased from the Online store and they sent out a card that was defective.. After trying it on nearly 12 devices i watched my son pack in up and send it back to San Disk Store.. EVERYTHING WAS IN THE PACKAGE - We had 6 witness (Who are will to testify in court - Case is underway) who saw him tape it all up back in the cardboard and place it in a bubble mailer that was sealed.. I ordered the Card on Dec 24, 2024 it came in 01/03/2025 and then i sent it back the same day as it was defective.. They received it Jan 8th 2025 and then nearly 30 days later to be told they didn't receive the whole package.. i was like ARE YOU FRICKEN SERIOUS?!?! So my 14 yo was upset because they screwed him out of a 214.19$. I ended up giving him back his cash seeing Scam Disk can't seem to man up to do what is right... You think these reviews are fake.. THEY ARE NOT.... Scam Disk is terrible and they dont give a crap about their customers, I have first hand experience with this and from other's reviews so do many others.

I have literally used SanDisk for decades for my business and personal home items and have literally purchase thousands, if not hundred of thousands of dollars, in product from them.. I have officially told my companies that we will no longer be ordering San Disk or any Western Digital related products going forward and that our organization will only be using products from their competitors who we have also shared our story with when they asked why we wanted to switch vendors. Their solution was basically to send me a giant *YouKnowWhat* by giving me a coupon for 10% off a new order?!?!? NO THANK YOU SCAM DISK, I want the money back that you screw my son out off and i will settle for nothing less than that.

If they want to step up and do the right thing, which i doubt they will do as they have no problem screwing children out of their hard earned cash, i will consider removing, or updating, my review.

I will also be sharing my experience (and full story as well as outcome) with my 11 million followers on Social Media. My son and 2 other VERY Famous influencers who have already started post processing so they can Air my story to their viewers starting this coming weekend. My followers are tiny compared to theirs

I Tried to be civil with you Scam Disk, but you wanted to call my bluff.. news flash... I DO NOT BLUFF! Enjoy the negative publicity and court case to come.

Shameful Warranty / RMA process . AVOID this company.

Warranty / RMA process is shameful and worthless

Having sent my faulty USB drive to Sandisk it took UPS 3 weeks to get the item to Sandisk

Then 5 days after it arrives their system has still not been updated to show its been recieved. And until their system is manually updated nothing is going to happen.

Even providing eveidence to their Chat agents all I am told is that until someone at some department of theirs updates their system the process is stalled. The Chat agents cannot update the system!

Dont buy Sandisk as their warranty service is worthless

Geheugenstick 128GB usb en usb C aansluiting. Eerst krijg ik foutmeldingen. Teruggestuurd en nieuwe ontvangen. Ik moest 115GB plaatsen op een geheugenstick van 128GB. Dat bleek niet te gaan.
Dit was het antwoord:De reden dat u minder dan 128GB aan beschikbare opslag ziet, komt door de manier waarop opslagcapaciteit wordt berekend.

Fabrikanten gebruiken een rekensysteem waarbij 1GB gelijk is aan 1.000.000.000 bytes. Computers en besturingssystemen rekenen echter in een ander systeem, waarbij 1GB gelijk is aan 1.073.741.824 bytes. Hierdoor wordt 128GB door het systeem weergegeven als ongeveer 119GB.

Daarnaast wordt een deel van de opslagruimte gebruikt voor systeem- en beheergegevens, waardoor de daadwerkelijk bruikbare opslag iets lager uitvalt, in dit geval rond de 114GB. Dit is volkomen normaal en geldt voor alle opslagapparaten.

Dit is misleiding en oplichting. De consument hoort te krijgen wat op de verpakking staat een niet anders. Ik koop nooit niks meer van deze fabrikant.

No respect for its customers

No respect for its customers. Removes software essential for its products to be used. Claims it is committed to customer satisfaction. Now I have to throw away perfectly usable hardware. I will never ever buy Sandisk again. They are a disgrace.

RMA service center refused to collect my parcel

The courier tried to deliver the parcel which i've sent to the service center on the working days, but the receiver refused as they were not available even tho the facility at that day of delivery was open lol.

Also my parcel was stuck in a Czech customs as they needed some additional information from receiver which were out of my knowledge, I informed them about this fact with zero response. If I knew that it would be like that then I would never buy from WD again
