Three weeks ago I bought a M.2 SSD from the Sandisk website. It was delivered to me by UPS in 2 days which is very fast in my opinion. Unfortunately the moment it arrived it turned out I didn`t need the product anymore (long story).
After reading many negative reviews here I was hesitated to send the product back to Sandisk. However I know that Sandisk is a big well known company so I decided to take the risk.
Filling in a return request was very simple and I received the return lable in my e-mail within seconds. After bringing the package to a UPS Access Point the tracking showed that it reached its destination in 3 days. Two days later I already received a credit memo from Sandisk in my e-mail that I would get the money back. Yesterday they paid me back the full price so I am very happy with their service.
Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought a Sandisk Pro Blade 2 TB drive and it broke within 10 days. I sent it in to Sandisk to get a quick replacement and it took 20 days for them to send me the wrong product which was addressed to an entirely different customer in New york. So I call in to try to fix the situation and weeks later they still havent sent me the correct product or even tried to fix this situation. I had to go out of my way to ride one hour by bike to ship back the SDD which they incorrectly sent me, and then they did nothing to fix the problem. I have called them everyday for 14 days and they have lied repeatedly on the phone about fixing this problem. I've spent over 8 hours on the phone, unpaid time, trying to get them to send me the drive that I legally own and they are obligated by warranty to replace, back to me. At this point it seems they are running a fraudulent operation stealing customer's products. They are the ones that made a mistake in sending me another customers product with my shipping label. And it is their responsibility to fix their mistake as quickly as possible, but they are repeatedly lied on the phone and they have done nothing to fix this situation after over 1 month from sending in my broken and corrupt problade drive in to get a replacement. I'm not even talking about how upset I was to purchase a PRO drive and to lose all my video work from 10 days of shooting. This experience is by far the worst in my life in regards to customer service. I will never ever buy a sandisk product again and I will go out of my way to tell as many people as I can just how horrible this company is and they don't deserve to exists. What a joke of an "American" company. It's like the leadership at Sandisk could care less about service or quality.

Appalling customer service. Order placed and no order confirmation received - contacted online chat the next day who couldn't provide evidence order had been received but also declined to process refund for the non-existent order. Paypal claim raised successfully.

Product (xbox expansion card) works well, but shipping took far longer than it was supposed to (nearly had to give up and demand a refund), and the included xbox game pass membership code didn't work at all.
I bought a 2 pack
I bought a 2 pack, USB flash drives that (allegedly) were password protected. I have used this type item from many vendors for years. These were just flash drives with an 'Install SanDisk Software' icon. I clicked it thinking (like the other 15 I've used in my life) it would walk through the set up, make a password and a quick intro. Apparently with SanDisk this is not the case. I was sent to a website with 8 different software downloads. OK, which of the 8 is for this SPECIFIC product/ IDK, and neither did the website. OK, I read the info, the only one that mentioned the specific item I bought was actually a recover download. Don't need it because I am unable to use your product. Next I attempted their Chat to be sent to an equally unclear YouTube site. So I sent an email. AN auto reply said we'' get back to you in 48 hours. A few hours later I was informed via email that "A support account has been created for you". Wow, I had a SIMPLE QUESTION, what software is needed for your product that I purchased. I am an hour of wasted time into this and these people think I want or need or am willing to make ANOTHER useless account at a company I will interact with 1 time every 10 or 20 years? I did not nor will it ever happen. I will return this opened package (items unused) to Amazon. Luckily SanDIsk does not need me nor do I need them. I tidbit of actually acting like you had any respect for my time would have gotten this company a customer but apparently they can not be bothered. Great work SanDIsk, I couldn't help notice how low your customer reviews are. Keep up the incompetent work. Update 7/29, SanDIsk answered me from a non-monitored email so I could not reply. The person said, the software is on the drive and does not have to be downloaded. Really? I have been using computers for 30 years. I can actually open the 3 files on the usb drive and check everything to determine the software IS NOT ON THE DRIVE. If I cared I could actually start this process again. I could waste more of my time to get to a place that I am unable to get help or even discuss the problem electronically. Nothing like a company that respects their customers on a level like a dogs poop. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE BOZOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USA: Today is 7/4/2025 and since 6/12/2025 I've been told that they were just waiting for a printing label?
My Advanced RMA was approved, I paid for it, and the replacement is not shipped, and MSI is not responding to a new support ticket I created with the question of shipping date.
Because I paid fees and did not receive product, I will initiate a credit card charge back and file complaints with FTC/AG so others understand about their support execution.
Bought an 8tb ssd
Bought an 8tb ssd, brand new two weeks later has a fault, the clocking on it was 4-6 times powered and less than 20min time powered. For an item which is £700, I thought sandisk will take this seriously, I sent it off for a repair which took two weeks they sent a brand new one back via UPS. The tracking number a few days before arriving showed the package had unpaid fees of £70 I contacted the support team they said we’ll sort it out, you don’t need to pay. UPS tries to deliver 3 times and each time they said the fee hasn’t been paid so will return tomorrow, each try I contacted customer service which “urgently” is try to resolve this. On the final day I pay the UPS fee as I needed the item and Sandisk said they would refund me.
It’s now been 2 months with 15 emails back and forth “ we are trying to contact ups and get this resolved”
Absolute joke, they have a transaction number receipt and everything needed to show I paid this fee and was promised a refund.
I work in a tech shop and will never be recommending these products or even company to another soul.

Misleading Marketing and Not Truly Compatible With iPhone
I bought the SanDisk 2TB Creator Pro SSD after seeing it advertised as compatible with iPhone. It’s shown plugged directly into an iPhone in videos, implying it works with the native Files app or can record video straight to the drive.
In reality, it only works through SanDisk’s clunky app, which is slow, buggy, and completely unsuitable for proper workflows. You can’t transfer photos directly, record video to it, or manage files natively. This is not plug and play and totally defeats the purpose of having USB-C on the iPhone.
I wasted hours figuring this out. I replaced it with a Crucial X9 Pro SSD which worked instantly no app required. SanDisk’s marketing is misleading and this product should be rebranded. Avoid if you’re a creator or iPhone user expecting native functionality.

Update from Scamdisk, 2 hours after Trustpilot uploaded I got a email offering me my money buckeyes but even then there is a catch it will take 10 days to get my money back, again thank you Scamdisk.

Absolutely The Worst Fraudsters.
Basically ordered two 512gb usb duel drive usb and usb c and recieved a duel usb 258 gb apple one which i dont own anything apple. First off they Basically accused me of is that all that was in the packaging that arrived then they needed ten days to investigate they then asked did I want a refund or replacement I said replacement and they just refunded me instead. Then got another response when I contacted them again saying that they can't send replacements from the same person who early contacted me saying did I want replacement or a refund. Now there prices have went up they have give me a 20 percent voucher which still dos not bring the prices down to what I would of originally paid for. Definitely do not use bunch of fraudsters.

Ich habe nach 4 Jahren meine Garantie in Anspruch genommen, da mein USB Stick keinerlei Lese- und Schreibgeschwindigkeit aufgewiesen hat. Daraufhin wurde mir ein neuer USB Stick zugeschickt nachdem ich meinen kaputten zu SanDisk geschickt habe. Leider wurde mir ein falsches Modell zurückgeschickt und somit musste ich mich ein zweites Mal um die Garantieleistung bemühen. Aus Kulanz habe ich das gleich Modell was ich eingeschickt habe mit der doppelten Speicherkapazität erhalten. Das ist Kundenservice! Danke!
4TB Sandisk creator Pro Disappointing- Don't buy
I purchased just yesterday my first 4TB creator Sandisk Pro portable SSD and now very disappointed. please everyone just do not buy that. The speed on the box is 2000 MB/s and my task manager in my computer shows max 90 MB/s. 20 times less than what is shown on the BOX!!!! Sandisk your price is too high and quality very low.
Also check the capacity, available storage is exactly 3.5TB and not 4TB. This is a huge lie selling rubbish to people.
You have to give my money back immediately.
RMA process is a pain
RMA process is a pain. Submitted all my information, then only upon multiple followups did they confirm I should ship back malfunctioning SD card. Got automated notification that they received it, but no progress report. Am still having to follow up with them manually, and hardware replacement has not yet been received. I'm convinced their customer service emails are written by AI, with their non-specific language.

This is a follow up to my post on 16th May.
Since my last post they (i.e. their agents who are based in Greece) issued a voucher and told me to order a replacement sd card directly from their store.
I did so on the 19th May and their system offered me a 1 – 3 day delivery via the courier, UPS who giving me a tracking number.
The parcel arrived 3 days later however, it came with a different tracking number – and here’s what’s almost laughable: they sent me out a usb stick (worth £25) instead of the sd card worth over £100.
No explanation, no cover note, nothing. I called them within minutes of receiving the package, fully expecting to be given more false promises. I was told “I don’t know why this was sent – it was probably a gift to make up for your trouble”. I replied “I don’t want a gift – I want my sd card”.
I was told that they would sort the problem but a few hours later they demanded I take a photo of the USB stick and send it to them – they obviously thought I’m as dishonest and immoral as they are. However, I complied and sent them photo’s of the stick (still sealed as it’s of no use to me) and also the packaging which clearly shows the different tracking number.
More e-mails were exchanged, more phone calls were made but the bottom line is this: they can’t explain why their depot in the UK hasn’t passed on the replacement to the courier. When I log onto the courier’s site, using the tracker number SandisK gave me, it says “UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package.” This is supposed to be a 1 – 3 day service.
I’ve just called them again and they simply don’t have any more information. They can’t explain why their UK depot has not given the package to the courier.
The agent told me his manager will call me – Ha!
IT HAS BEEN TWO FULL MONTHS since I returned the sd card and I can’t begin to describe the contempt I feel for the agents who persistently mislead me.
Based on my experience, I can only conclude that SandisK are either the most inept, inefficient company around or are, as I strongly suspect, deliberately misleading their customers with regards to their supposed two year warranty. It is not fit for purpose!
