They make a reasonably good product that can replace a primary brand for chlorine generating cells. The problem is they sell these with a warranty to entice you to buy. I've had nothing but trouble trying to get them to honor their warranty. They have even failed to return the product I shipped to them for warranty after I refused to order a replacement with a discount. Be careful with them. Assume you're not getting a warranty.

If I could leave a negative star review, I would. Do not waste your money. The cells are defective. Once you get them and they "warranty", they expect you to send yours back....and run with no cell?!?! They are complete morons and thieves. Spend extra money and buy from a reputable establishment.

I ordered a salt cell for our pool. It worked fine for one season, then the temperature sensor failed which gave a high temp reading. This caused our panel to not allow chlorine generation. I completed a warranty form and was told to mail to Tennessee for warranty repair. The salt cell was returned by UPS with a statement that the company is no longer at that address. I wasted money mailing it to them. Then I was told to mail to Louisville, Kentucky. I asked for a shipping label and have never heard back. I have used email, chat and attempted to call. No luck with anything. Then I googled the company and found hundreds of negative reviews including bad rating on BBB. If by chance they are still in business, steer clear, don't order from them. There is a very likely chance that you will be leaving a negative review in the near future.

These guys are crooked. They sell an inferior product and offer a warranty that's a hoax. Someone should file suit against them. I'll be happy to join.

Do Not BUY anything from these guys. i purchsed a T-Cell in March of 2022. It died in September. I filled out a warranty claim and they aprroved it. per thier instructions i mailed my defective T-Cell to them and have not heard back. i cant run my pool pump without my cell. terrible!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a salt generator which took 2 months to get sp I returned the item. It took another 3 months to get most of my money. Do not buy items online unless you can visit these crooks face to face. I live in Canada but if I was from Tennessee this company's people would be suffering.

Received a knock off salt cell generator that did not work. I sent an email to return, received address for return. I returned the item via FedEx, with proof of delivery, and they have not refunded my money.....it has been 3 months.

Please do not buy he product. They have no warranty at all even though they claim they have.

This review likely wont' make a difference, as the near 173 1-star Google reviews (out of 173 reviews) and continuous reviews of a similar nature peppered throughout the web and consumer complaint sites, pretty much sums it up, but I digress.

I rarely post reviews but I can't tell which is a bigger POS, the company or the products they sell! I purchased a salt cell which failed within 3 months and the warranty process is purposefully difficult, tedious, and all at the purchasers expense! There is NO customer service outside of 3 word answers via chat until they just stop responding, and if you're able to get a person on the phone they aren't able to help you with warranty claims. So, you're held hostage to a pathetic excuse of a merchant which required endless hoops to go through (image of the error, image of the system, "water sample", etc.) just to get warranty "approval" before having to ship the defective product back at "my expense!" Then despite putting the order number on the "outside" of the box, packing slip with ALL warranty information collected on the "inside" of the box, they refused to do anything or even confirm it was delivered unless I provided a tracking number.

When asked why a tracking number was absolutely necessary when all reference information was on the outside and inside of the box, the ONLY reply was "because that's what's required". I had to go back to the shipper to get the tracking number and confirmation of deliver to find out it was delivered (and signed for) nearly TWO WEEKS prior! There wasn't a single correspondence of status, results, or when a repaired or replaced device was going to be sent back so, I had to personally follow up continuously! The constant follow up, lack of response, and ridiculous process (if you want to even call it that) dragged on for over 30 days to the point that I didn't know if I would ever get the product I paid for. When I threatened to report them their response was to threaten me with defamation which was obviously a lie since there were already hundreds of BBB and consumer complaints every where you looked!

Meanwhile, I'm having to maintain my pool (again, at my expense) as our salt water system could not function without the salt cell and they couldn't care less. I ended up disputing the charge and having to purchase another salt cell, then one day out of the blue the replacement just showed up after I submitted an inquiry to a consumer law firm. Again, with no correspondence whether in the box, email, phone, NOTHING!

Needless to say, this is a HORRIBLE company. You may get lucky and purchase a product that works but God help you if it doesn't! Therefore, to be on the safe side GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! PLEASE! If not for yourself, do it for the poor folks like myself and others so this company either changes their way or goes out of business (the ladder being the best solution IMO)!

Stay away from this company at all costs. As with many other customers I have been scammed out of $313 by them as well. After a month of follow-ups, the company did send a product which was not functional. I have attempting to return the item beginning the day after it was received. The company just does not respond. Despite repeated attempts to obtain a return authorization, the company does not provide one. Two months later the company had the audacity to provide a copy of their return policy which said anything outside of 30 days would not be covered. I filed a claim what's the state's attorney general as well as the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent practices. Don't fall victim to this company.

I purchased the Platinum T15 cell with the advertised “industry leading” 5 year warranty. It malfunctioned after 4 months of use. They did replace it last year; however, it took almost 3 weeks to receive the new one. The second Platinum cell malfunctioned (Temp sensor) with only 2 months of use just into the 2022 season.
I am more disappointed in the lack of customer service than the unreliable Platinum T15 salt cell. I would get a company salesman response only after multiple emails sent and calls made. When I finally did get some degree of communication, it was very brief and without any explanation regarding the bad cell. They did not even acknowledge that they received my UPS return of the bad cell. If I had not been persistent, I truly believe that they would have never followed up with me. It was like pulling teeth to get any feedback!
With my experience there has been zero regard for customer service. When I finally did receive an explanation of the "limited 5 year warranty," it was a pro rata on an escalating tier for the amount of times/date it failed. First time free, second time 30% off MRSA, etc. What I find interesting is when they quoted me the $249.99 to replace, the advertised MRSA on their website for the Platinum T15 cell was $599. The amount should have been 30% of $599 = $180. When I called them out on the amount, they suddenly raised the MRSA on their website to $829.99.
Some things are worth more than saving a buck. It took weeks to receive the third replacement Platinum T15 cell. My pool had been living on shock for over a month in the middle of summer. I now have spent a total of $744.98 in original purchase, replacement purchase, shock, shipping charges, and now stuck with a 3rd Platinum T15 that I hope will last longer than a few months. I should have just purchased a new Hayward T15 to begin with. You've been warned and informed.

Total scam to charge a $25 fee and shipping for creating a label, total of $42 . They could not supply and responded saying “the warehouse will respond “ which never happened.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAMMING POOL SUPPLY STORE ON THE INTERNET!!! I purchased the Platinum t-15 SALT CELL REPLACEMENT. It is complete garbage!! I had to file a claim with Paypal and I won my case! They refused to provide any tech support and the item was clearly not as described on their website. On the last day of the Paypal claim they tried to get me to return it to some random address in Australia even though it was purchased in Knoxville Tennessee USA. SCAM!!! They don't honor their refund policy and they sell defective non-compatible units! They have the worst customer service, non-existant, and are complete scammers. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Warranty on Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell 5 years. I had not used this till this weekend due to the amount of time to get it and it was already a replacement. Well, it leaks right out of the seam, which is where I believe the last one leaked from. I have also heard from other people about these issues with this product. Why are you still selling defective products? I still have the original box and packing it was sent to me in, with no damage on my part. I now want it replaced, but prefer a refund due to this being the second time. I do not see you on FB any longer. I will file another BBB complaint if not resolved within a week. This company is a joke. Warranty is bogus. Never answers calls or emails. Lie about shipping dates. Can not talk to anyone there except the 14 year olds answering to take a message that never gets delivered. Been waiting since may for a warranty issue and have not been contacted to this day of August 1.
Tried calling again and phone is disconnected. They bought enough time to close the doors. I hope BBB had something to do with it so as to keep them from scamming others. Very disappointed.

T15 replacement. Advertised 3-5 days, took 18. Shipped out of China. Worked right for a day, then the salt reading went to 5700 and could not bring it down. Luckily, the system is still generating (don’t know why). Digital tester shows salt at 3700, test strip at 3800.
Can’t get a response from these guys, but my guess is I should consider myself lucky I got anything. If I could get them to replace it, the pool would be closed before I got anything back and it probably won’t work at all.

I am like all the other reviewers. I bought the product because of the price, I paid for it, they never sent the part, they never answer my emails, 6 months later I got the funds back because I disputed the charge with the credit card, this company (or person) is an scam

Guess I should of researched this company... should of known better when they don't allow Google reviews. I recommend that everyone on here that got cheated by them to file a complaint with TN attorney office. It's an easy form online, let's take this company down.

Purchased a cell to replace the R7 cell for my Solaxx salt pool system. Cell was shipped promptly, by DHL from AUSTRALIA! Cell clearly was not new as it had what appeared to be knife cuts the length of the cell on one side. Sent pictures and their response was that it was due to testing...really! They did accept it back and gave me a refund, but not my return shipping fee ($26). Read the other reviews. Wish I had done so first. In my case I went to another vendor and replaced the Solaxx system with another system that I have installed and it is working perfectly and has a 7 year warranty. My advice: stay away from this vendor!

Purchased replacement T-3 salt cell on 6/29/22 with a promise of 3-5 day delivery. 8 days later on 7/7/22 DHL was to deliver but did so to the wrong address. DHL owned up to it & gave instructions to the Salt Pool Store as how to file a claim. Salt Pool Store threw it back at me as if it was my fault & responsibility. I purchased another on Amazon & had it in 2 days. Buy elsewhere.
