There are no words to sufficiently describe how fantastic the Salt Escapes experience is. Just wrapped up an unforgettable week in Zakynthos with the stellar team (Amy, Mike, Gemma, and Ayesha) and a wonderful week 8 crew from different corners of the world. From the unparalleled programming and coaching to the stunning villa nestled in the hills, to an epically fun boat day along the coast of Zakynthos, to many stories and laughter during group dinners and poolside hangs, and everything in between, this was an experience for the ages. This is my first, but certainly not last, Salt Escapes trip; I’m already looking to book a 2026 experience! If you’re even remotely on the fence about booking a Salt Escapes trip, just take the plunge. You won’t regret it.

The fact that I have just come out of my 2nd Salt Escapes experience and already booked onto my third is probably enough of an indicator as to why Salt Escapes is something truly special, but if that doesn’t convince you then let me tell you that what Mike & Amy has created is not a business, it’s so much more than that. There is nothing commercial or corporate about this experience, it truly feels like you are away with friends, and are looked after as if you are family. Mike & Amy are the heart behind this, but they have this amazing ability to find private chefs, yoga instructors, and coaches that bring the same passion, warmth, and skills as them. A Salt Escapes trip genuinely delivers every time, I only wish I found it sooner!

Such a great week! Finished up a week in Zakynthos, and the experience was incredible. Amy and Mike do a great job with pushing you during the workouts, and recognizing your fitness level...recommend going into it in fairly good shape. Along with the workouts, the yoga, food, excursions, and ambiance were perfect...highly recommend!

An unforgettable adventure where exercise meets amazing locations blended with adventures such as boat trips. And not just for those in 30s. The team (Amy,Mike and Gemma were amazing). Supporting you to challenge and push yourself. The accommodation and food were amazing. (Ayisha). Definately something to do once and when experienced you will want to return for more.

This was my first time doing a Salt Escapes trip and it definitely won’t be my last. It was by far one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. Amy and Mike make you feel so welcome and at home. Amazing group of people, delicious food, challenging workouts and enough time for relaxation, such as lounging by the pool, massages and organising a boat day to unwind. Thank you so much to Amy, Mike, Liv, Mai, Dina and Connie for making this Zakynthos adventure one I won’t ever forget!

Just on my way home from my first Salt Escapes trip to Zakynthos Greece and what a week! The perfect balance of challenging workouts with super supportive and welcoming coaches (huge thanks to Mike, Amy, Liv and Mai!), amazing villa, delicious chef-cooked meals, and plenty of chill time to soak up the sun, and pretty much laugh all day with the best group of people! Couldn't have asked for better company.

I honestly loved every single minute.
From the amazing people to the trainers, the food, the workouts, and all the activities, it was just non-stop good vibes.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
The workouts were super fun and challenging in the best way, and the food was delicious.

My third Salt Escape and the standard just keeps getting better each year.

This was my first time to Zakynthos and what a beautiful villa (with AC!) on a stunning island.

Mike and Amy have stepped up the game this year, and the decision to invest in the retreat by introducing an additional coach made the week even smoother. Coach Liv was incredible - tough, innovative, and energetic. I’ve never laughed so much in between burpees in my life. Her workouts took me to a dark place but her jokes pulled me right back out of it - the shipwreck run was a definite highlight!

A massive thank you to yoga instructor Mai for taking us through the best flows in between workouts to keep us going and our bodies in a functioning state.

Boat day this year was also incredible - the water is stunning and it’s the best way to really get to know others on the trip.

Lastly shout out to Chef Connie for the most amazing food to fuel our workouts. No pun intended but it was *chef’s kiss*.

Thanks Mike and Any for everything. You catered to everything we needed and made us work out and laugh in equal measures. What a bloody incredible week with new friends that are now lifers.

Second year doing a Salt Escapes retreat. First time doing Zakynthos. I’m so sore, so full, and so tired. The workouts were sweaty, there was so much delicious food, and the camaraderie with my new friends had me choosing poolside chats instead of sleep.

11/10 would recommend

The absolute best week in Zakynthos, incredible villa with amazing views. Great chef, great company and challenging workouts. I am so proud of myself and so grateful for the coaches for pushing me. Everyone on my trip was so nice and we made such an incredible team, cheering each other on and celebrating each other.

This was my first time on a fitness retreat and I’m so glad that I decided to go! Amy and Mike made me feel like I was at a home away from home while coach Tom gave challenging but fun workouts. The food was cooked by Robbie (our chef throughout the stay) and tasted amazing. We had a great selection for all meals of the day and he even gave me some recipes to take home that I will definitely be using. From boat days to a beautiful villa I did not want the trip to end!

Just wrapped up an amazing week with Salt Escapes and already wishing I could hit rewind. Between the daily workouts, epic views, great food, and even better people—it was the kind of trip that makes you forget what day it is (in the best way).

Each day had a perfect mix of fitness, fun, and free time. From outside circuits to boat days, hikes, and dinners with a view—it struck that sweet spot between active and relaxing. And the crew? Such a great, down-to-earth group of people. Co-ed, welcoming, and no egos—just good energy all around.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fitness retreat that doesn’t feel too intense or too chill—just the right mix of sweat, sunshine, and connection.

This was the most incredible trip of my life!! Amy and Mike are the absolute best and they’ve built the coolest retreat for likeminded people. The vibes and energy are just unmatched - everyone was so welcoming and warm and the coaches were amazing. I don’t have enough good things to say about this retreat, if you’re on the fence DO IT!! I will be booking another!!!

Just finished my first Salt Escapes and I can easily say this was the absolute best trip! Clem and her team were beyond amazing and the food was incredible! I have made memories that I will never forget, and I can’t wait to do another one. Forever grateful for the best week with wonderful people!

I’ve just returned from Salt Escapes Ibiza and can honestly say it exceeded my expectations on all levels, I already can’t wait for my next retreat!

The workouts were so much fun yet challenging and adaptable for all levels/injuries. The food was outstanding, with chef Ayesha creating the most amazing dishes using food sourced from the villa gardens and local markets. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed, I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere like it again. And last but not least I met some wonderful and inspiring people who I’m lucky enough to now call close friends.

The Ibiza team were utterly fantastic. Thank you Clem, Bry, Tam and Ayesha for giving us the best week imaginable. They created such a positive, welcoming and fun environment and I met some truly wonderful people. An experience I’ll never forget!

Just returning from my 2nd salt escapes in less than a year, this time in Ibiza & it was another cracker. Clem, Bryony, Tam & Ayesha the dream hosting team this time. The work outs were tough but fun, the food was superb & the yoga was just the recovery needed. The villa is truly incredible, the group dinner was picturesque & boat day 10/10.

This was my second salt escapes and it did not disappoint. The thought and planning put into every aspect of the trip to make it the best experience possible is unbelievable. From the amazing workouts and yoga, to the incredible food and boat day, it’s truly unrivalled. Clem, Bryony, Tam and Ayesha were a dream team, bringing incredible energy and running the week flawlessly. The set up is centred around inclusivity and socialising, giving you a unique opportunity to meet and connect with some brilliant people, who will remain friends for life. Hands down some of the best weeks ever, I can’t wait to book my next salt escapes!

I can honestly say that Salt Escapes Ibiza is the best holiday I’ve had in years thanks to the phenomenal trainers, Clem and Bryony, our zen yoga master, Tamara and our incredibly talented chef, Ayesha. Four inspiring women who lifted us up the entire week and made it a week to remember. Everything was beyond expectations and done to a really high standard including the beautiful Ibiza villa and boat trip day! It felt like a very bespoke, personal experience and I have, no doubt, made friends for life. Salt Escapes will become a yearly staple and I can’t wait to try out some of the other locations on offer! Thanks Salt Escapes team xx
