Sakura Mobile Omdömen 

I’ve used Sakura Mobile twice now while living in the Tokyo area and for about a year each time. The set up is easy and the staff are helpful. The actual cellular service is excellent too; I’ve never had any problems with it. Sakura is definitely my go-to.

We choose Sakura Mobile every year in Japan. The device (Wifi router) is always trustworthy and the service is excellent.

Very good service, super easy pickup at the airport Haneda with nice staff. Excellent connection during the whole 15 days trip.

This is an amazing little device, smaller than a packet of cigarettes it just pops into your pocket or bag.
Charged overnight and we found it would provide non stop Wi-Fi for two phones while travelling all day sightseeing, driving and even on the Shinkansen and Tokyo Metro.
Highly recommended, easy to pick up and just drop it of in a post box in the pre paid envelope at the airport.

Didnt have any issues. Internet always worked well. No buffering videos etc. Livestreams too on highest quality

I had bought the wrong product. Sakura support team proceeded with a tempestive full refund, and explaining me which was the most suitable product for my needs.

I bought 2 eSIM for me and my wife for our trip to Japan unlimited data only package last month and it was the best decision ever signal was good and strong no issues anywhere we went and was never cut off. Prior to leaving for Japan I contacted customer service and there response was fast and issue was resolved.

I regularly use Sakura pocket WiFi when I’m in Japan. It suits all my needs and is really reliable. Customer support is excellent but I rarely have to contact them. Last time I did contact them it was to extend my rental

Sakura mobile is fantastic! I used their eSIM and a pocket Wi-Fi for two weeks! I got their upgraded plan for the 4g/5g and it worked great, no matter where I was at. It was really nice to have Internet, no matter what especially for transportation purposes.
We did run into an issue where my wife’s phone was not unlocked so she was not able to use the original eSIM that we had planned, after arriving in Japan and contacting Sakura they were quick to remedy the situation. Offered either a refund or to send us a pocket Wi-Fi to the nearest post office or our hotel. We opted for the pocket Wi-Fi, which was compact and easy to send back at the end of our trip when we are done.
Will definitely be using their service again when I visit Japan next!

DON’T USE THEIR FIBER INTERNET

I’ve used them for years, but last couple of years they’ve become the worst fiber internet provider, at premium price, in Japan. They use OCN and even buy the cheapest bandwidth from this lousy infrastructure.

For past year, my internet speed has been 30mbps or less. Sometimes, usually 9Mbps. The ping is NEVER BELOW 300ms. Usually 500-700ms.

Their internet is unusable. And they charge a premium for it. Keep writing to get it fixed and they keep writing back to do reset and test and test.

Issue is they buy the cheapest bandwidth from the crappiest ISP in Japan (OCN), and are over subscribed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

It was easy to sign up and easy to install on our phones. When we had issues on one device support was quick and they resolved our issue very quickly, in less than an hour from emailing.

I messed up, and did not realize I could not use a travel Sim. I was eternally grateful when I got to the airport and in Sakura mobile kiosk. Having seen adds through my trip planning I knew I could depend on Sakura. For 16days it was the perfect no thought required assistant to translate, map and communicate with the people of Japan. Eternally grateful that Sakura Mobile made my trip less stressful. Easy pick up, setup and end of trip drop off. Mahalo

Seamless experience activating the esim, had strong service the entire time despite going into some remote places

Flawless service from pickup onwards. Please don't change anything - this is the 3rd time I've used Sakura Mobile's 4G LTE SIM and it's been perfect. I've read about other SIMs ceasing to function after a couple of days or the speed dropping to almost nothing, Sakura Mobile's service has never failed me no matter where I was.

I contacted customer services because my flight was cancelled and I'd be a day late for pickup. The response was quick, comprehensive and reassuring, and most importantly written by an actual human. Thank you so much for not going the route of other companies with useless chatbots and AI garbage.

I will use Sakura Mobile every time I visit Japan if you keep up this wonderful level of service.
