The mobile router worked flawlessly and held a charge for a full day out and about and charged easily in couple of hours. Very easy to use log in and pop it your bag and forget about it. Admin around the hire was flawless - device waiting for me when i checked in and easy return - just hand the pre-addressed return packing to your nearest post office. Highly recommended!

The WiFi worked everywhere, down in the subway to the top of mount Fuji. Couldn't ask for more really did everything it was suppose to and no problems

The delivery was really fast and the SIM have been working very well during the while trip so I could enjoy at 100%

Insanely expensive service and the line is very bad. The 5G is never reached (eventhough my settings are correct) and the 4G does not work pretty well.

My experience is with an iPhone 14 Pro, a pretty reliable device.

I would never suggest Sakura, and I am working to get rid of it.

There are times when it's quite useful to have a Japanese number. If you speak some Japanese it can be valuable. I found that Sakura is one of the few offerings for travelers to get a Japanese number. The connections have been respectable.

I have been using Home Wifi service for more than 1 month.
There has never been any connection issue. It is fast enough for me to play online game while watching YouTube and having WhatsApp call.
The setup is a no brainer, very easy. I just plugged in the device into wall socket and it was ready to use.
Also, the customer service is very responsive and informative.
I hope Sakura Mobile always keep its good service.

I have had absolutely no issues with my Sakura Mobile purchase. I rented a wifi router, which was delivered to my residence with a package and paid shipping tag for when I return it. Everything has been very convenient for me.

The customer service was fast and efficient

Everything was excellent. The pocket wifi was waiting for us at the airport. It worked well, recharged every night and lasted the day. It worked throughout Japan, except for a few places in northern Hokkaido. The return process was easy. We would definitely use this service again.

Easy to use. Very helpful staff at KIX that helped me log in and verify that everything was working. Light weight and long battery life. I carried it all the time for my Kumano Kodo trek. Even up the Dogiri-Zaka!

I was looking for a pocket wifi for my trip to Japan and I chose Sakura Mobile because it was the cheapest fee (they have a discount for long rental). Then due to a problem with my flight, I wasn't able to pick it up at the planned location. Fortunately the staff was extremely helpful and quick to react and they found a solution that worked for me. They were also very nice and welcoming.

Eigentlich war ich zufrrieden, ich war 1 Monat in Japan und habe das WiFi Modem gebucht. Ich bin dann 3 Tage vorher abgereist und es abgegeben. Ich habe noch geschaut, dass alles an Zubehöhr dabei ist " Modem, Ladegerät und Ladekabel " und dann abgegeben. Dann bekam ich 3 Tage später eine Mail, dass Ladekabel fehlt und ich soll 1000 yen zahlen! Ich habe zurück geschrieben, es ist im Deckel oben in Netzfach. 2 Tage später bekam ich eine Mail, ja sie haben ein Kabel gefunden es ist aber nicht das Orginal und ich soll 1000 Yen zahlen, weil es orginal Ladekabel fehlt.
GANZ ehrlich, ich weiss nicht wie das Kabel aussah, es war ein USB C kabel, davon hatte ich mehrere mit. Sie haben ein Kabel zurück erhalten und sogar das Modem 3 Tage vorher abgegeben. Es ist echt Abzocke nacher noch 1000 Yen zu kassieren!
