It was a smooth transaction
Sainsburys offered a better exchange rate than the post office. Also, I was able to select my preferred date for collection. The staff offered buy back guarantee and guidance. Just one thing to be mindful that don't use credit card to purchase the travel money as banks treat it as cash withdrawl and charge for it so use the debit card.

Extremely disappointed
I went to collect currency I had ordered, with the opening hours clearly stated in my email. I arrived at 1:45pm, only to find a notice saying the service wouldn’t reopen until 2:30pm.
With ANPR parking restrictions, it was unclear whether I could leave and return without risking a penalty charge.
Unreliable, poor customer service and completely avoidable inconvenience. Overall, very poor service from Sainsbury’s.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about your experience. While our travel money bureaux may briefly close at quieter times to allow colleagues to take their scheduled breaks, a notice is displayed advising when the bureau will reopen.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive and then be unable to collect your currency as expected. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to do all we can to minimise inconvenience for our customers.

Long wait collecting euros
Had to wait a long time to collect my money. I queued once, gave up & did my shopping then came back to an equally long queue. Needed both kiosks operating……
Lady was lovely who served me & was quick when I finally got to the desk.
