An excellent quality photo book👍🏼

Fabulously easy and inspiring software; assembling the album was an absolute breeze. Delivery was quicker than advertised. The quality of the finished product is absolutely outstanding! The pages are about double the thickness that we expected, the print quality is awesome and the lay-flat binding works brilliantly.

Not the cheapest product on the market but worth every penny. We will definitely be back

It was the first time that I have used it, and it was very straight forward.

I found it tricky to use. I used the automated feature but the photos were in the wrong order. I had to manually go into each page to edit the photos and the layout as I didn’t want to have any borders. Preferring the photos to take the entire page. It took me 2 hours. It was also hard to link the Google photos to the app as it didn’t save them
And I had to redo it quite a few times. I haven’t received my photobook yet but I’m hoping my efforts are worth it.

Have used their Photo Poster prints a few times now, the thickness of the paper is great and love the matt finish. Am experimenting with calibrating my monitor with what comes back, the prints tend to be darker and shifting to the blue/green range

My experience with SAAL was absolutely amazing. I ordered a photo book because I got an offer code by them which I initially thought was too good to be true. The pages were of great quality and the acrylic cover made it look very professional. It also arrived before the estimated date which was great. The only flaw I could point out was the software as it was a bit confusing for someone who has never used any photo editing app before. I used their desktop software which I downloaded. Every time I deleted a picture from a page, it would rearrange the layout. Maybe it’ll be easier for someone who’s a bit more tech savvy. Other than that the service and product were absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend!

I have to say that I am genuinely shocked by the quality of my photo book from Saal Digital.

Before ordering from Saal, I had already created a similar photo album with another company. At the time, I thought it looked good, but after receiving my Saal album, the difference is almost impossible to describe. The image sharpness, color reproduction, print quality, paper quality, and overall finish are simply on another level. Comparing the two albums feels like comparing night and day.

What impressed me the most is the incredible detail and clarity of the photographs. Every image looks vibrant, sharp, and professional. The craftsmanship of the album itself is outstanding, and it truly feels like a premium product.

I also want to mention the design software and app, which are absolutely fantastic. They are intuitive, powerful, and very easy to use. I loved the freedom to arrange, resize, and align photos exactly the way I wanted. The editing tools are also surprisingly good, allowing small quality improvements and fine adjustments when needed. It gave me complete control over the layout while remaining simple and enjoyable to use. In my opinion, the software is just as impressive as the final product.

Ironically, I am now slightly disappointed that I created my previous album before discovering Saal. I had spent around £50–60 on that album, and if I had known the level of quality I would receive from Saal, I would have gladly combined that budget with the £100 voucher I later received and created one truly exceptional album instead.

The voucher gave me the opportunity to try Saal, and I am genuinely grateful for it. Without it, I might never have discovered just how good your products are. It would be amazing to receive another voucher in the future, as I already have ideas for several more albums I would love to create.

Saal has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The quality completely surprised me, and I could not be happier with the result. I am already planning future photo books and would happily order again.

I have also recommended Saal Digital to my friends because I truly believe it is worth investing in quality. I would rather create one outstanding album that lasts a lifetime than several average ones that never fully satisfy. Sometimes it is better to do something once and do it properly, and Saal has convinced me of that.

The final product was just what I wanted;
The downloaded software was very effective, and the preview very representative of the final product;
I used the 1-minute photo book method to provide plenty of ideas for my 500 plus photos to go into a 120 page album which was quick and effective; of course I had to invest time and effort to bring it to what I had in my own imagination!

Great image quality and book (basically 0 compression unlike VistaPrint)
Excellent designing app, fast delivery, from order at 7pm Sunday, it was delivered by midday on Tuesday, including international transport.
It might be more expensive than Vistaprint type companies, but it is 100% worth the extra money when printing a permanent product like this

Very easy software to create a book, great quality product and fast despatch time, I will be using Saal as my go to printing service.

I have order my saal digital photo book ordered Professional line phot book with matte Fujifilm prints. The planning of the photo book and order process was fine. Able to use an auto placement of photos with an ability to edit te aet up too. delivery on time but what i was disappointed by was the print on what looks like card rather that photo quality pages. The cover with leatherette is professional but the pages inside were not as luxurious. I felt the matte online was mirepresented and not eay to see what the difference was between glossy or matte. I purchased witha voucher but given the result i have had better quality pages from other photo book retailers with the price i paid for delivery and what the voucher didn't cover

Overall I am pleased with the results.

I found the software somewhat challenging to use but to be fair, I’m in my seventies and once I’d got used to it, it was pretty flexible.

The quality of the book cover, pages etc. is very good although the book is slightly warped and doesn’t close 100%. The printing is sharp on the gloss paper and everything was set out precisely. The problem I found was reproducing what was on my MacBook screen in print. A lot of the printed images a bit dark and they were subdued in terms of colour saturation. I know that Saal offers colour profiles but I read the description and to be honest I didn’t understand it.

Saal gave me a voucher so that I could adjust the images and reprint the book which was very fair of them. The results were more pleasing although a few of the images were too saturated now.

Delivery was quick and apart from a few reservations, I’m quite pleased with the results.

The quality of the book was first rate as was the preferring and delivery. My only frustration was the time and attempts it took me to get my first picture book right! Lots of trial and error on my part with the various layouts, text boxes and designs, probably not helped doing it on my phone. Practical advice - consult YouTube beforehand!

Fast. Very very easy to design the photo book even in the personalised method. Photo prints are a cut above all the others I/ve used so far. Fast printing and arrived here a few days later. A book that looks like it'll last an age.
