I had a few issues with the online design tool, I think possibly due to the size of the project I was trying to create. It kept freezing whilst saving (though it was actually saving it), and it had a few issues with the checkout screen (eventually I managed to send myself a link to it, and purchase it.
Glad it worked out, as the final product is great. Very high quality materials, great clean crisp printing.
Customer services were helpful.

Online system did not work properly. It did not show crop and tool and save tool did not work reliably. so downloaded app

the product was fantastic and i loved the creative freedom i had in developing the photobook layouts. this is a quality missing from the vast majority of companies nowadays so very happy with it

Actually better than I was expecting from the picture quality, it was really good and would definitely use them more for photo books

Once again, the Saal software made putting the Professional Line book together both an enjoyable and efficient process. The tools which enable one to position images on the page are simple to use and reliable. But, most of all, using the colour profile for the paper selected gives excellent and accurate results.
I am already working on my next Professional Line book.

I always go to Saal digital for my prints but haven't tried any other products. i needed a book for an exhibition so went for the professional line photobook. i'm so happy with the way the book turned out! the software is easy to use and i used a bunch of their templates to arrange my photos. the software can be a bit clunky at times and i had a problem with it giving an error but once i got the hang of it, it was fine. i got the acrylic cover which feels sturdy and adds a nice weight to it. the pages are thick and durable, they show the colours and contrast so well. the layflat design made the images i put over two pages look seamless too. i went for glossy finish which makes everything pop and doesn't show finger print marks which is great. only slight downside is the inside of the cover is white whereas my pages are black, if you have different colours for pages just bare that in mind. always go to saal digital and this proves what i already know. their delivery is fast and reliable, quality is superb and they're affordable!

The photo book, from the glossy pages to the acrylic cover was superb quality, and given that it came from Röttenbach to the west of Scotland within a few days of placing the order, the service is commendable. Given the prices, I couldn't use Saal as often as I would like, but I'll definitely use them again - I'm planning another photo book.

This is my fifth photo book from Saal Digital, this time the photo book was ok but no protective envelope, just put in cardboard and sent off . Seem to want to cut corners

What can I say? I’ve had some photo books done with acrylic covers. The quality of the workmanship of the books is amazing picture quality outstanding vibrant colours can’t really complain. Fast delivery within 2 to 3 days and they arrive well packaged in double skin cardboard boxes.

I received a voucher in response to an offer from SAAL for one of their high end photo books. Previously I had always ordered from the same place, but the offer was attractive and I decided to take a risk.

I went for the 30 x 21 Professional Line XT. I opted for glossy pages and an acrylic cover. The quality is fantastic. So pleased with the result. Took about a week from placing the order to when I received it, I used their desktop software which I downloaded. Happy to recommend.

Opted for professional line photo book to test out print quality. Curated a selection of photos from the past decade, taken across multiple compact digital, DSLR, mirrorless cameras, and multiple smart phone cameras to test their print quality across the board. All images were printed to a high standard.

Their software was also intuitive to use, there were warnings on formatting (make sure images are within margins, border clearance etc.). My browser glitched out a few times, and my images/layouts were still saved when I went back to the project.

Special mention to the metal book cover, it is very well made and brings out the colour in the image.

Will be recommending these guys and will be back in future for my other photobooks.

The photo book was of excellent quality and delivered promptly and correctly. The lay-flat design is perfect and suits my long, panorama-type, double-spread photos. The free design software is easy to use and reflects exactly what you receive in the finished, printed product.
Would highly recommend.

High levels of customisation available, smooth photo selection and download process. Had a lot of options for either automatic or manual photo book organisation which I really liked. Overall very pleasant experience with the software so no complaints at all!

I just received my photos and it is really good quality I loved it !

The app makes page layout and design very easy. I had read a previous review stating that the matt paper was more of a lustre and when I chose it for that reason I wasn't disappointed. The construction of the book is outstanding, the lay flat pages are superb and the quality of the paper mounted on card is excellent.
Customer service was speedy and they promptly answered an emailed query. The construction and delivery of the book was also superfast.
Overall an excellent experience and I'm currently making my second book.

I have made multiple purchases from this website for wall arts. Square frames. The quality is amazing and we are very happy with our feature wall behind the sofa. the staff is helpful and reply promptly if you are stuck while using the software. Good value for money and quick delivery.

I’ve used several companies to produce photobooks and Saal Digital is the best. Great design software that makes it fast and easy to get the layout and text you want. Transparent costs that update as you add more pages. A very fast turnaround. Finished photobooks are delivered within a few days of submitting. Best of all is the finished quality, the printed images have excellent colour reproduction and accuracy.
