I have had my new I10 for two weeks now and loving it. This is my second i10 from Richmond Southampton. I would like to say a special thank you to Sam Kazim, new to Richmond's, who dealt with the purchase from start to finish. Sam made the experience a pleasure, very professional, answered all my questions, nothing was too much trouble. Kept me updated from the day of order through to handover and since, calling to check that everything was ok and that I was happy with the car. Sam you a star.

After choosing the vehicle I wanted we came back two days later to pick it up. We made an appointment for 10am unfortunately our bus was late but walked through the door at 10.03am only to receive a call from salesman complaining we were late I said we were here and why. So things didn’t start well. First he pushed a paper at me to sign that was already ticked off even though most items had not been seen ie my insurance etc. I refused to sign until things had been checked in front of me. Then he wanted me to pay even though I had not seen any of the paperwork involved so I refused. I asked for the slip off the logbook he didn’t want to give it but eventually he did. All the time going and checking with his manager. I asked if the manager was the same as the day before he said no but why did I ask. I said as this man was very abrasive trying to sell us things we had already said no too. Eventually after saying no for a third time he said “I can see your bored so I will let you go “! He also kept laughing at inappropriate times. Then I asked for the service book at which the salesman said no we don’t do that anymore so I said no book no sale plus I want ALL the paperwork or no sale. He then went to check with his manager and the service manager and eventually put together a service book. I eventually paid and I asked for an invoice again he said we don’t normally do that so I insisted. He came back and reluctantly pasted me a piece of paper which I took his word for but when I got home it was headed order form not invoice. We were spent over an hour trying to get the paperwork etc completed because of his keep going off to check with his manager. I have bought many new vehicles in my life time and none were as amateur as this. Once we had paid he slid the keys across the desk and thanks very much and stood up and started to walk off he did not even when we had a test drive explain any of the controls etc which should be a standard procedure. Very poor. Also in the paperwork it says should be at least 100 miles of fuel in the tank and there was barely 60. Shame service just doesn’t seem to get any better.

All the staff that I dealt with were professional and treated me as if I was the only person that mattered. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were very attentive.

Ali was a brilliant sales assistant, made sure before and after buying my new car all my little questions were answered ! Would recommend him and the Hyundai Southampton garage to anyone in need of a new car they have a car for everyone

This my second car i have purchased from Richmond Cars. Very good service and attentive staff. When I upgrade my car again I will be coming back.

There were a lot of good things, but there was an expectation that I would know how to handle the increased technology of this vehicle. The supplied handbook is very difficult to understand and it was more difficult to get to grips with the navigation system. The car is very good to drive and once we have more control of its features it will probably be better.

Had a great experience buying a used vehicle, didn't feel pushed or pressured into anything.

After deciding on the vehicle, the sales process was all smooth and again no hard sales to purchase additional products.

Second purchase of a new car with Richmond. As always excellent service and communication during the process. Bhadur Singh was brilliant from start to finish. I thorough recommend Richmond!

I just had my second service there with my current vehicle. I would like to premise that every member of staff I spoke with was lovely. However, the situation at the store at this time is not ideal. I booked a waiting 3 hour service. I was called twice yesterday - first by services, second by sales. Not one person explained that the showroom was being renovated with lots of dust/noise nor that the cafe would be closed. As two people with breathing difficulties at times, this should have been explained.

After my service (no issues) I did want to speak to a salesman quickly with a query on my current vehicle. Sadly, after waiting 15 minutes, I had to leave as no one was around.

I have used Richmond Southampton as my choice of dealership for many years, and this is the first time I have left feeling as though I should have went elsewhere. Hopefully, once the renovations are completed, it will improve with more people around to speak with.

Made very welcome at the dealership and offered hot drinks.

Sinead helped me with buying my first car and really simplified the process for me. I had some bad luck at different dealerships with finding the perfect car for the perfect price as initially I wasn't sure what I was looking for but Sinead showed me different models of the i10 and i20 until I found one I loved. I couldn't be happier with my new car, I just passed my test today and can't wait to get driving. Corin and Ali were also extremely helpful on additional visits I had made. 10/10.

Great staff, friendly but most importantly efficient. We have had so many premium brand cars in the past but are really impressed with our family 2022 Ionic 5 and the service we have experienced through Richmond and Hyundai. Great garage - highly recommend...

The sale procedure was very professional and clear , Bads is a credit to Richmond.
The only slight concern was the arrival of the logbook as the vehicle was bought on 1 April and on the 15th it still hadn’t arrived.
More of a DVLA and Royal Mail issue than Richmond.
