Good customer service very friendly

I am very happy with the services provided by Mr Harry - Mechanic.

Kept me informed through the process , very knowledgeable mechanic and the work was completed very efficiently. Got straight to the task at hand and explained everything extremely well.

Entire process was very smooth.

After not being able to use my car after breast cancer surgery, my car battery died. Scott was brilliant and sorted a new battery out for me but also re programmed my central locking on my keys. When you’re going through something like I’m going through I can’t stress enough how grateful I was that he was able to resolve the whole issue without any stress and with a great attitude. Thank you so much 😊

This is the second time I have used the RAC at home service & find it competitive & convenient.
I have given a 4* rating however as I did have a bit of bother with the booking process this time which is unfortunate. My quote never reached me & the date for the work came with a first text notification, but not an update & in the end after waiting in all day, no mechanic arrived. It took another phonecall to sort & rearrange. However the service by the mechanics is worth it, & I will most likely use the RAC again.

Very pleasant and efficient mechanic, who explained everything very clearly. Unfortunately he was unable to fix my car as the problem was not as expected. However he assisted me in booking my car into my own garage, explaining to them what needed to be done next. My review reflects the excellent service given by the mechanic despite the failure to get my car back on the road.

The mechanic kept me informed about his eta. He was polite and efficient.

The mechanic was lovely and very helpful. One problem I have NOT received the report of the service and what he did. I need it for my MOT next week. Would really appreciate receiving it soonest.
Otherwise mechanic very helpful and a nice guy.

Arrived in the time scheduled and carried out the work with no issues.

Professional and friendly mechanics that provided an excellent service.

Paid for a full service and a full service is NOT what I received.
Topping coolant up with tap water to not having any screen wash on his van to put in.
Terrible and I will not be using RAC to service my car ever again. Avoid

Terrible company I have had mechanics not turn up three times and when one dod turn up told me I had been sent wrong g alternator for me then to get a message saying it wasn’t the wrong one!
Then they send a patrol instead of a mechanic and then they apologise and attempt to send another patrol?!
I called them and tell them not to send a patrol because last one said it should be a mechanic they apologise again and say they will send mechanic.
Three appointments missed for the mechanic and then they say I have refused to communicate with them despite me having numerous recording of conversations between us and emails!
Then they cancel the insurance for the hire car leaving my disabled mother with no transport!
Going through Motability to try and get them to make sense of this because this company is a complete mess

Came promptly, knew just what wrong, quick and very pleasant.

Great communication and chap was polite, knew his stuff and just got on with it, zero hassle. Recommended
