I can’t get these to work at all. They’re poorly designed and overly complicated. Now I’m getting the same hassle to return them that others are describing. The return process is overly complicated and has taken up a lot of my time over a period of weeks. Communication with the customer care team is extremely difficult and slow. I am still trying to return this item and will update this review once the process is completed successfully. Please note: this item ships from Pennsylvania, but if they do not work for you, you must return them to Finland at cost to you. I have never experienced such a complicated return process.

Don't waste your time or money. These simply don't work very well. There are several You tube reviews that came to the same conclusion. They certainly don't cancel out snoring. You're much better off with disposable foam ear plugs

Thank you for making this wonderful product that finally allows meet to have a peaceful, restful sleep night after night.
These little babies filter out most noises completely, and the noises that do come through are muffled and do not disturb my sleep.
I have a spare pair because I don’t want to be caught without my QuietOns.
Because this company is based in Finland purchasing replacement pieces takes awhile and if there be anything negative to say, this would be it.

We use these on the motorcycle to protect our precious hearing.

The earbuds worked well for one year and then one stopped being able to hold a charge. The warranty for US customers is 1 year (whereas EU customers are 2 years for some reason) so it did not cover the repair or replacement since it was a few weeks past. I was told I could get a 20% discount on a new pair. A new pair! The cost of these is not worth one year and I won’t be purchasing another.

That moment… 15 seconds in when the technology kicks in! I'll wait for it like a little kid every night. These have been game changing for me because my beautiful partner snores. no more air-conditioning noise, white noise machines, wax earplugs, soft gel, earplugs...just the QuietOns. I had a fairly open mind about these because I wanted them to work. Wow!! I'm not sure if it's the noise canceling… or some other other technology...but these really help! I can still slightly hear some gentle noises,but it feels like the sound is blanketed a fresh layer of snow.

Don't bother.....purchased the product for Christmas. It has been a headache working to return it. They had us run through hoops to try, try, and try again. Not only does it not filter out noises, but they are uncomfortable. Tried multiple sizes and they hurt. Then they are going to charge you to return. They don't stand by the product.

Does not reduce snoring noise. Only reduces the pleasant white noise from fan.

These are far and away the most effective noise-cancelling ear-plugs I've ever tried. They're also really comfortable, even when sleeping on my side. Wish I'd discovered them sooner.

These are the best ever!! The foam tips got worn out very quickly though and mine ripped. But I can’t sleep without them now!

They have been fairly life changing as not only has my sleep been much better they seem to also have dramatically reduced my lifelong tinnitus.I am wondering the latter maybe because my brain is able to rest.
I used to use a white noise machine but Quieton has made that redundant.
They are able to significantly reduce low humming sounds like passing traffic or strong winds.
I have recommended to other people as it has been super helpful for me.
They get 4 stars instead of 5 because I would like a total silence option which covered higher frequency sounds too.

I often find myself wanting to wear them during the day too as they again significantly reduce day to day sounds from traffic,airlplanes etc

I love my quiteons. I cannot sleep without them anymore! You can hear the sound going quiet after about 15 seconds (edition 3.1) and the world quiets. And I feel calmness coming over me and I can actually sleep. If these were to break down, I would buy new ones in a heartbeat.

Poor Customer Service and Creditability Highly Suspicious

I dislike having to write less than stellar reviews however given recent events involving this company, in addition to an expensive loss sustained, its imperative that other consumers stay clear from this company, do not ignore the warning signs about their poor customer service .

I ordered two pairs of the QuietOn headphones late November to gift them for Xmas. Upon receipt, I opened one box to test the product and unfortunately was not impressed. I decided to return both of them (based upon their money back guarantee) and immediately wrote to customer service. They responded a few days later asking if I had followed the instructions to make them work properly. In the end I told them I was not satisfied and wanted money back for both items. A few days later I received information indicating how and where to return the items for a refund.

Following their instructions, I returned both items to them via UPS Ground with tracking, in the original packaging/envelope in which they had been received. After a few weeks, I received a email confirming my return/refund had been processed along with second email itemizing my refund for 50% of the cost of what was paid for both. I followed up with customer service to inquire why I only received partial credit for the items returned, to which they responded (a few days later) they only recorded one set of headphones received. I immediately responded, advising both headphones had been shipped together to which they did not respond or comment.

After a few days passed, I wrote again asking whether they can assist further with investigating the discrepancy, which was highly concerning. I also did not receive a response for the second inquiry. Besides being completely annoyed at the fact they have chosen to ignore my communications, I feel ripped off. My initial sentiments suspected the loss occurred in the hands of UPS, however given the fact I am being ignored about this discrepancy and after reading other less than flattering comments about their AWFUL customer service, I am almost certain this company is being ran by scam artists.

Its a shame how they treat customers that spend significantly to purchase their underwhelming product.

These were a middle of the night impulse buy when I just couldn’t handle my partner’s snoring any longer. They work! It dulls the sound enough to be able to fall asleep, but I can still hear if my kids call me. I test them by snapping my fingers next to my ear, while pressing the on button. There’s no question that they’re noise cancelling. But you need to have a proper fit with the foam to make it really quiet.

The QuietOn 3.1s are my second purchase of their products. After trying various noise masking products, I discovered the 2.0 version earbuds. Their size sometimes caused some soreness after a deep sleep, but the smaller size of the 3.1s fit perfectly without pressing on my ear. Their tuned noise canceling work great for me.

My wife is a light sleeper and we live near a main road that can be busy during the night with heavy gooods vehicles. I decided to buy some QuietOn earbuds in the hope that this would ensure a good night's sleep. My wife found that the buds took a couple of nights to get used to but really worked well, cutting out the road noise. QuietOn have also been fantastic in offering support and backup should any problems arise. I would encourage anyone that has similar problems to try the buds. The packaging and instructions are straightforward. It is good to have the backup that QuietOn provides and gives users confidence that they will try their best to ensure customer satisfaction.

I’m very thankful I discovered QuietOn ear buds. They are worth the price as they do exactly what they are supposed to do, which was a great relief! I got my sleep back on track and was no longer woken up by random noises or left with ear pain from disposable ear buds. Customer Service were also very responsive and patient with my enquiries. I would recommend this product if you are in need of some undisturbed sleep.

Absolutely the best present I’ve even been given, I live in a busy house with kids coming and going, doors closing, alarm being set/ unset. I have exceptionally good hearing which was not a bonus at night

I really wanted this product to work. I have used Bose sleep buds for the last few years and unfortunately they discontinued the product. I have used various products, but unfortunately QuietOn are no better than wax sleep buds to mask snoring.

I would suggest trying Anker sleep A10 if you need to mask sound. Much better for half the price.
