QuietOn 4 in Australia are very expensive, around $430 which is as much as a top of the line Sony noise cancelling earbuds.
But QuietOn 4, are different, you put them in and it's main effect is to make you lose your mind trying to notice any change on the sound around you at all. After a minute of putting them in and taking them back our, you realise that they do nothing at all for general sound around you.
Apparently they only work on low hums, dull low frequency sounds, and have zero impact on anything else. Personally low steady sounds are actually the least of the noise concerns I have when sleeping.
Things like doors being shut, people talking, maybe sounds throughout the house, some TV sound, maybe some music sound from neighbors, just general sound - is what wakes me up.
And these earbuds do absolutely nothing for that. You are much better off buying a $1 high decibel range pair of foam earplugs.
Their marketing on line makes a massive deal of these being "active noise cancelling" and yes it mentions low rumbles and low frequency sound, but it definately never mentions that it does nothing for normal sound - so it just lets you wonder and think that at this price tag with active noise cancelling, surely it has an impact on general noise and not pure selective impact on one niche low band frequency.

Be advised of what these actually do, and finally you not have information presented on what they do not do.

I received the new QuietOn 4 after two weeks of very slow shipping. Unfortunately, they simply do not work as advertised. I tested them multiple times using recordings of light snoring, and there was no noticeable noise cancellation at all. I tried different ear tips, reseated them in the charging case, and followed the instructions carefully—nothing helped.
In hindsight, the warning signs were there: a company that does not accept genuine reviews and is very difficult to contact (just try their website) should have raised red flags. I am returning them today (for an additional 20 euro. yes, you pay for shipping this back)

Having those few hours not disrupted by noise is a big part of keeping mental health. And their latest earplugs are very clearly the best noise protection I've tried (and I've tried almost any kind of earplug)

Unfortunately, the QuietOn4 were no more effective than my earplugs at attenuating street noise, although they were much more expensive. I received a reimbursement less $100 so read their return policy carefully.

My earbuds broke soon after warranty ended, which had me doubting the integrity of the company, and I wrote this review. However, they then replied to me on here, and after a short email chat, they sent me new ones!

Since the new ones have worked like a charm, and since such an action is an extremely valuable demonstration of integrity, I'm taking back my comments on my suspicions and focusing my review on the positives.

These earbuds are very good for getting rid of ambient noise while sleeping. They've helped mask upstairs' neighbors footsteps, fridge noises and the like. My sleep score definitely went up after starting to use these.

I wouldn't recommend them for something like a snoring partner (get some sleeping mouth tape for them instead), but for more distant audio sources, like traffic, absolutely.

First of all, after trying the different sizes these still feel awfully uncomfortable. The normal foam ear plugs are a lot more comfortable than this product. Second, these don’t really block the noise much more than the normal ones. And yes, I have made sure they are tightly on. The normal ones work almost as good, not a big difference. But the worst part is that there is no spare parts easily available. After using the ear peace to the point they needed replacing the only option was to order new ones at the cost of €30. This is ridiculous considering they aren’t really that effective in the first place. Their customer service was not very helpful either and after (respectfully) expressing my disappointment and that I expected them to do better than this regarding the spare parts they didn’t even bother to reply at all. It’s just easier to buy the regular earplugs at the cost of €5/3 pieces and you get basically more comfort and almost as much noise cancelling. Very disappointed

Edit: after 3 months of regular use the right ear piece already died on me. Considering the price for these that's extremely disappointing. I've got warranty on it but I surely hope I won't be having to replace them every 3 months :/

I've been using these earplugs (QuietOn 4) for a few weeks now, and with a snoring partner I have to say they're quite a game changer. They don't quite block out the loudest snores, but they dampen them enough to sleep, and the softer snores that would normally keep me awake are silenced almost entirely.
The battery is good as well, they easily last a full night and probably even longer. The rechargeable case makes them very convenient to take along on a travel.
Lastly, as a side sleep these are extremely comfortable, they don't poke or prod in any sleeping position.
Also, as someone who has pretty narrow ear canals (most in-ear plugs don't fit me comfortably) I'm happy to report that these fit me nicely (they come with 3 sizes foam tips). Changing the foam tips is a bit of a struggle, I felt like I was going to damage them, but still manageable.
All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The price was steep but sleeping peacefully through the night is definitely worth it and I'm glad we live in a day and age with this technology, because regular earplugs just didn't do the job.

Wichtig ist es, die 20 Sekunden abzuwarten, bis sich der ANC einschaltet, und ebenso wichtig ist der richtige Aufsatz auf den Buds.
Ich hoffe, ich werde dem nächtlichen Fluglärm mit den Buds etwas entkommen können.

The customer support was immediate, helpful and supportive.

There was an initial misunderstanding with my order, but QuietOn’s customer support handled the situation professionally and fairly. Communication was clear and helpful throughout the process.
I tested the QuietOn 3.1 during a very noisy night (Carnival of Binche in Belgium), and the earbuds noticeably reduced disturbing low-frequency noise while still allowing important sounds to be heard. They perform as intended.
Overall, I am satisfied with both the product and the customer service

Quieton is a high-quality product. I use it every night here in NYC, and I think it's helping me live longer.

I bought a pair of QuietOn in January of 2024, and they were life savers for getting sleep with my noisy neighbors on all sides. After about a year and a half the batteries stopped charging and I emailed QuietOn and got no response. I discovered that the company had gone out of business and there was no one to contact. In December I checked and found that Soundless had taken over QuietOn. I reached out and they told me I was within warranty time and Katarina sent me a new pair and troubleshooted one of the earbuds not working and sent me a new right earbud.
The customer service is solid and I am so happy they stood by their product and replaced the whole set.

The earbuds are fantastic. They are small and lightweight, which makes them super comfortable, especially as a side sleeper. I can wear them all night without any pressure or discomfort. The battery lasts about four nights before needing a charge, and the noise blocking works great. I can finally get a good night's sleep without waking up by my partner. Highly recommend.

Not only is it a remarkable product (I don't fall asleep easily/quickly, but even in a calm environment that somehow happens a lot sooner with these in), the service is above and beyond (I faced a battery issue)!
They also made a great decision to include the Comply foam tips: the former ones caused discomfort (dryness/irritation like) at times after hours of sleep, that does not appear to be the case with these.

I, too, can't understand the negative reviews here at all.

That's why I'm sharing my experience.

As someone sensitive to noise, the QuietOn 3.1 and 4.0 are absolute game-changers, and not just at night.

When I'm sitting in the park in the sun, I can effectively block out the city and people noise without anyone noticing that I'm wearing headphones.

They've also helped me on many flights by dampening the drone of the engines so it no longer bothers me.

I find the technology fascinating in that I can still be spoken to and am not completely "deaf."

The ergonomic shape makes them very comfortable to wear, so I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, unlike many competitor products.

When the left earbud unfortunately stopped charging, QuietOn's customer service responded very quickly and was able to provide me with a replacement.

From my perspective, one of the best products for people with sensitive sound perception.
