Very efficient speedy process. Phone calls very polite and to the point

The process was largely handled by the financial adviser Age Partnership. Their agent impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness in preparing for my application for a further release of equity. My only criticisms are that the process was rather drawn out and that it was not made clear early on that I would not need a solicitor this time. I was also surprised that a formal valuation of my property was required this time, whereas it was not for my first application about 5 years ago.

When it came to the part played by Pure Retirement, that seemed to consist of checking on what stage had been reached. Unfortunately, several days were wasted in obtaining the funds because, after I had returned the completed acceptance form, someone phoned to say that it was not the latest version and that I would have to complete the latest form. When this arrived, I checked it carefully and found that it was identical to the first. Also, the covering letter was not addressed to me but to "Sirs", whereas the first, which I had been told was wrong, was correctly addressed to me. When I phoned to point this out, reference was made to a manager, who decided that the form I had already returned was acceptable.

We have a drawdown facility and we have used this system twice with no problems or trouble getting the monies we have asked for.

You can try and justify your interest rates but I’m sure it would be cheaper for get a loan from a loan shark, your company preys on the elderly and you should be ashamed of yourselves, you have no morals, no compassion and to try and pretend that you are helping the elderly when you are preying on the weak and vulnerable you are loan sharks in sheep’s clothing and I know that you and your company have no heart whatsoever, I hope that your company goes out of business because you have stolen my children’s inheritance
