Jacket arrived faster than I expected
Jacket arrived faster than I expected. The quality is very good, especially the zippers which are big and do not catch. The reflective fabric is VERY bright when light shines on it! (I wore it to work in the first light rain of the season and I was completely dry!) I feel ready for my Pacific Northwest bike commute in the coming dark days of fall and winter!

Hidden refund fee plus shipping cost me in me returning my item. The refund fee was not stated when I created the shipping label, and customer service didn't provide me the link to where the refund fee was stated. Refunds in 2026 should be easy and affordable. Warning to customers - if you need to return an item it will cost you!

It is clearly displayed in our help centre prior to purchase, it is shown in the returns portal before you proceed, and you are required to actively accept the charges before a label is generated. Not 100% waterproof and sizing way out. I would recommend buying from a retailer in store rather than online from Proviz. Return is expensive for misleading website sizes.

I rebought a cycle back-pack that I had purchased from you a few years ago.
It lasted well, travelling to work and back on my bike eack day and on trains over weekends, accomodating my laptop well. There were so many features I loved that when the zip finally broke I bought a new one.

2 x Hi viz tops - both larger than expected
2 x Hi viz tops came up a lot larger than expected so had to return both It was annoying that both were on same order but had to return separate (2 return postage costs) as per returns policy, however refunds made as 2 separate transactions minus return postage.

Umtausch praktisch unmöglich, Unternehmen unkooperativ
Die Jacke war, obwohl ich ein paar Jahre zuvor das gleiche Modell in gleicher Größe bestellt hatte, viel zu groß. Umtausch war aber aufgrund der Portokosten in Höhe von über 30Euro praktisch unmöglich. Provinz zeigte sich völlig unkooperativ und zeigte keinerlei Entgegenkommen.

However we do want to address this as the order was dispatched to the address provided at checkout. Unfortunately once an order has been placed and dispatched we are unable to make changes to the delivery address, and this is something we state clearly in our terms and conditions.
We completely understand it was disappointing, especially as it was a gift, but the incorrect address was entered at the time of ordering and this was not something that was within our control. We would always encourage customers to double check their delivery details at checkout for exactly this reason.

Returns process a nightmare
Returns process a nightmare. Multiple emails with cut and paste responses. Repeated attempts that were rejected. Postage costs outweighed any benefit. Ended up keeping a duplicated order, so a very costly exercise both time and dollar wise.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. We're sorry to hear the experience felt this frustrating, though we'd like to clarify a few points for anyone else reading this.
Our team confirmed that two separate, genuine orders were placed and charged a couple of minutes apart, rather than this being a system error on our end.
The return submissions were rejected on a few occasions because the reasons selected, such as "faulty" or "wrong item received," trigger a free return and didn't reflect the actual situation, which was a duplicate order. As these reasons didn't match the circumstances, we weren't able to approve them, and our team explained this each time and asked for the reason to be updated. Once resubmitted with an accurate reason, the return was accepted and registered successfully.
As outlined at the time, returns from outside the UK are self-serve, meaning the customer arranges their own tracked courier and covers the postage cost. This is standard for international orders rather than something specific to this case, and was communicated clearly throughout. We understand postage costs were ultimately why the duplicate order wasn't sent back, which isn't something we're able to control given return shipping isn't covered for this region.
We're always happy to look further into any of the above if there's anything we've missed.

Poor quality rucksacks - stitching fails
Poor quality. Yes, reflective and a good concept, but now had two school rucksacks fall apart - shoulder straps separated from the main bag, stitching failed both times. Glossy marketing but a v limited warranty and company disinterested in helping after that. Never had other rucksacks fail this way (my view after 10 years Army, 35 years hill walking, etc). Can provide photos as required. Won't buy again.
Update following Proviz’s response on 7 Sep 2026: I am sending Proviz full details of my original complaint (made in my name) dated 10 Oct 2024 and photos of the most recent failure in Aug 2026.
