Offers PayPal/Credit cards as payment options, but conveniently, PayPal never works, and their incompetent "credit card department" can't figure out how to charge a payment even with all the correct information provided.

Not only that, they email copy and paste responses even if you're trying to explain what's going on. They only seem to be interested in funneling you down to doing unsafe bank wires.

I recommend everyone to stay away from this company.

Unprofessional. Takes your CC info then wants bank account info to process order. Not a normal experience for online shopping. Buyers beware!

I have an older VW Tiguan, anything goes wrong~ I bring it here-period.

My company has ordered many times over a number of years from Provantage and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. We have had the same rep the whole time and he has always been responsive. We have had to do a handful of returns, but Provantage has always paid the return shipping. I know that not every customer experience can always be perfect, but Provantage has always provided us with good service and competitive prices. If I had a complaint, it is that their product search function could be improved. Sometimes I have to find a product elsewhere to get a part number to then search for it on Provantage.

The ordering part was Ok, but lawd the shipping process sucks. You can't find any correct info online so you have to call and when you do call you'll find out the info emailed doesn't match what the rep tells you. The shipping company they use isn't UPS its Western Regional Delivery Service. (and their communication is garbage, you can't win.)

Avoid ordering here! I ordered a high-end graphics card for business and paid with our company credit card. On the same day, I ordered server hardware and drives from 2 different online stores using the same credit card and contact info. A day after my order Starr from Provantage contacts me and says my credit card details don't match and I need to provide updated information to complete my order. I responded to that email and another follow-up that came later with the updated information. I also called the general customer support line, and the gentleman was very helpful, but said the credit card team had left work already. My card was still not charged or re-run despite them having the information to do so. Why ask for additional information if you aren't going to use the information to complete my transaction?

Then another day goes by after I respond that they should re-run my transaction with the updated billing information that matches the card. I get another response that says "we can only accept a bank wire for this order". Thanks, but no thanks! I am not wiring money to a company that can't figure out basic billing/payments like everyone else. In the meantime, 1 of my other orders has been received, and the other order has shipped.

If you actually want to receive orders in a timely manner, shop elsewhere, and DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Ordered an Open Box version of a Supermicro motherboard under the assurance that it had been tested, verified working, and only differed in packaging.

Upon receiving the motherboard, I found one of the DIMM slots to be faulty (P1-DIMMH1). I tried multiple sets of known-good memory pulled from running systems as well as swapping the order of said memory sets only to confirm the memory slot is bad. This delayed a deliverable to a client by a week and I basically performed their testing for them.

When I contacted Provantage about a replacement, they informed me they did not have any more Open Box versions of the motherboard available and would only issue a refund because of this (despite having multiple new versions of the motherboard on-hand).

Basically, they refused to make the situation right, wasted my time, and got some free hardware testing (with proof) so they won’t have to do it themselves before engaging the manufacturer.

Typical online scammers! Do not trust the information on their website nor what they would say to you over the phone.

A couple of days ago I placed an order with them for a high-end workstation graphics card. The next day I spoke with Starr Schmitt over the phone to confirm the order. She assured me everting is fine and the order will ship on time. The next day I received an email from Aundrea Marion to let me know the item is out of stock and would be back ordered...
Since I placed the order their website constantly showed the item in-stock. Even at the time I asked them to cancel the order the website showed 58 units in stock!!!

By now it is obvious they are running a scam.

Don't be fooled like me. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.
