bait & switch - advertised free shipping and once I placed order said no free shipping!! reported to authorities

I placed my order for an SSD on March 11. No update for a couple of days, so I contacted the CS. They said they need my personal information, a copy of my driver's license, to proceed with my order. I emailed them asking why. No response for a like a week. I reached out again, and they said they would get back to me by the next day - no response, of course.
I reached out again, no response, no surprise.
Then my order was canceled without any explanation. I literally waited for 16 days to get canceled.
I got an impression that they might try to steal my personal information, and canceled the order since it didn't work.

Items state they are in stock when they aren't.

Would not buy anything orders canceled with reason of out of stock, when in reality they haven't updated pricing .

Magically goes from "in stock" to "call for pricing" right away, Owner likely has a bunch of listings then checks current prices when someone orders, trying to get more money .

Compu Devices had a printer part for $222. This is what I wanted to buy: RM1-1784-090CN HP Duplexing Assembly for Color LaserJet CP4005N / 4700 Printer.

When I inquired the price for shipping, the price of the product was changed to $490, out of the blue. When I told the seller, Daniel Kalen, about the change and asked him to honour the original price. He essentially said no, and that this was an error in pricing and then said that it was a website glitch. Obviously it doesn't matter what the issue was becuase the law states that you cannot change prices of your products just like that on a potential customer. Basically, Daniel admitted that he had committed fraud, then proceeded to ignore my messages over the website chat. Finally, he changed the part to say out of stock. Way to go guy - lies on top of lies and then covering your lies up. I do not recommend you do business with someone who does not have integrity or honour. It would appear that other people on google review have said the same thing.

I decided to give Compu Devices a try after hearing nothing but positive things about them, and I recently purchased a new GPU for gaming. The shipping was fast, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Compu Devices to gamers looking for the best deals.

Listed a refurbished Netgear RN524x00 Data Storage Device for $824.13, received a call two days later from Ali, mumbling something about the warehouse blah blah and cancelled my order. Two days later the same device shows up on their site at $2,580.42. Poopyheads.

Do NOT order from this company. Their stock notes when ordering are mis-leading, stating things are in stock but are actually backordered. The shipping took entirely too long and when i did receive the order, it wasn't even what i ordered. Support has been pretty much non-existant in assisting in a return/refund/getting the correct product. This is not a reliable company to do business with whatsoever! I would say don't waste your time or money!!

Ordered an item online and no updates for several days, not even an email confirming the purchase. I finally messaged the company and they said the item I ordered was out of stock but they would check with their distributors to see if they could get it. The following day I got a notice that my order was cancelled with no explanation. I assumed it was because they couldn't get the part but it would have been nice to have the reason in the cancellation. I would advise this company to modernize their online systems and make sure their website is accurately reflecting their inventory so you don't have this issue to begin with. Also please don't bill my credit card until you can confirm you have the part and shipped it. And then if there is an issue, be more proactive in their communication of the issues. It was my 1st and probably only time to try and do business with this company.
