I’ve recently started using pREP UK…
I’ve recently started using pREP UK again and overall I’m happy with the meals. The portion sizes are decent and the convenience really helps me stay on track with my diet.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the seasoning is actually quite good.. not too spicy or overpowering, but just the right amount to make the meals enjoyable without feeling heavy. It feels more balanced compared to some other meal prep services.
There was a slight delay with delivery, but the food still arrived in good condition and was fine to eat. Customer service was responsive and offered a partial refund, which I appreciated.
Overall, it’s a solid option if you want convenient, reasonably healthy meals with good flavour that isn’t too intense.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Prep UK. There was an issue with a missing order, but their team handled it quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated.
The meals themselves have been consistently great — they taste fresh, clean, and well-balanced. You can tell quality ingredients are used, and it doesn’t feel overly processed like some meal prep services.
Overall, really impressed with both the customer service and the food quality. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for convenient, healthy meals 👍

I have tried 2 meals so far, the jerk chicken with rice and peas and the chicken curry,
I am really fussy when it comes to meat but they are amazing!
So full of flavour and good portions as well.

I have tried frive, Fuelhub, simmer and Chefly, this is the worst meals I have tried, flavourless, cheap packaging, poor macros.

Excellent food quality
Food quality is excellent and sourced locally. You can really tell with the texture of meat dishes that quality meat has been sourced. Delivered on time as well. Only used due to kitchen re-fitting but likely to use again and freeze for emergency calories during my marathon plan. Only snag is trying to get the sealed film off to eat after heating

Just to keep you in the loop, we recently had to switch to a stronger sealing film, as the previous easy-peel version wasn’t holding up during transport and some meals were opening. Although we loved the easy-peel lids, the stronger seal was the only reliable way to ensure your meals arrive safely and intact.

Five stars from me!
We do a regular weekly orders for Prep meals for lunches. They're tasty, really quick/handy, healthy, packed with protein (great for gym goers)! and there's a brilliant choice of delicious meals. Because of the choice, they don't get boring.
Many "healthy" ready meals are high in salt and/or sugar content, but not Prep.
We'll definitely keep ordering weekly - thank you! Five stars from me!

I order from Prep every week for my… lunch meals at work
I order from Prep every week for my lunchtime meals. They’re perfect for after the gym, with a good range of choice to keep it interesting. Delivery is always reliable or I can pick up from the shop on occasion
The supermarket “healthy” meals are always full of salt and sugar, but Prep meals are spot on.
Will keep on ordering and definitely recommend

So so - be careful with ingredients
NOTE / UPDATE: I have since provided this company a screenshot of their incorrect labelling on the website as I realised yesterday. They have already admitted to incorrect labelling on the packaging to “use up old labels” . I am sure it is an innocent mistake, however absolutely worth pointing out. I won’t be made out to be a liar or mistaken when I am not. Regardless, a nasty accident could happy through incorrect labels regardless and both should match even if they thought the website was right. There is also good ways of dealing with things, this isn’t it I am afraid. See they have done the same to other reviewers. Shame.
This was the page I used to look at ingredients (see quorn cottage pie - maintain) may have been changed by now but wasn’t last time I checked

Start by saying delivery was great and prompt ! We ordered 6 meals , half of which were enjoyed. The other half were very over seasoned/spiced. Most of all, I was disappointed that the veggie cottage pie had added peas in but didn’t list this in the ingredients label both online and on the packaging as I wouldn’t have chose this if I had known.
In regards to the reply , website does not show peas either :) I have a screenshot to show where updates have slipped through the net. Rather than ask for more info so they can put right , they would rather be defensive in their reply. Hopefully people with allergies, check all pages that list ingredients. Removed two stars due to the customer service that cannot take feedback well!

We know that everyone’s palate is different, so we aim to offer a good mix of flavours — some mild, some more boldly seasoned — so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Regarding the peas, this recipe was recently redeveloped and relaunched, and we updated the website at the same time to reflect the change. I’m sorry if this detail was missed when ordering. We’re currently using up our existing stock of older labels which don’t list peas, but the website will always show the most up-to-date ingredient information so customers can make their choice before ordering meaning they are aware of the ingredients before they order.
Again, I'm sorry that you had not seen this. Thank you again for your review — feedback like yours helps us keep improving.

Thanks once more for your comments. As mentioned in our original response, we do genuinely appreciate all feedback — it helps us improve. That said, when something raised isn’t accurate, we feel it’s only fair to provide clarification so that anyone reading can see the full picture.
We absolutely do take feedback seriously. When something is factual and highlights an area we’ve fallen short, we always look to put it right straight away — whether that’s with an apology, a refund, or making changes to avoid it happening again. In this instance, however, the ingredient information for peas was live on our website at the time of ordering. I checked personally, and I also recall the update being made at the time of the recipe change. I even re-checked again last night and the information is still correctly listed.
That said, if you do have a screenshot or photo that shows otherwise, please feel free to email it across to sales@prepuk.com. If it turns out that there was an error on our side, we’ll owe you a full apology and will of course put things right. At this stage though, based on the information we have, we’re confident that the ingredient details were correct.
We understand that reviews are an important way for customers to share their experiences, but we do ask that feedback is fair and factually accurate. Running a small food business in the current climate is extremely challenging, and one-star reviews based on incorrect information can be very damaging. We’re always happy to accept constructive criticism and put things right when we’ve made a mistake — but in this case, we’ve checked and the ingredient information was correct at the time.

Good afternoon,
I'm really sorry you have experienced some issues with our service.
We use a third party (DHL) and over the past 7 days, there have been a number of deliveries that haven't hit the mark. When this has happened we always put it right and resend despite us not being able to claim for this.
They say everything happens at once, and so our website hit difficulties this morning. We reported that upon realising at 730am this morning and the tech guys are looking into this. As you can see, these things are outside of our control!
You will have been sent emails from us with our contact details on however, I ask that you contact us at sales@prepuk.com so that we can look into the delivery issue and put this right.
Thank you for taking the time to review....without you doing this, we wouldn't have chance to remedy this situation!

To remove any uncertainty, here are the facts of what happened:
1. You placed your order without including your house number — a detail most customers manage to provide without issue.
2. On Tuesday, we emailed requesting the missing information. No reply was received.
3. On Thursday, the day of dispatch, we called. The call did not connect.
4. We then texted you to advise the parcels would be sent within the hour and asked for an urgent response. Again, no reply.
5. With the courier collection imminent and no input from you, we made the decision to have the parcels delivered to your street via a neighbour, rather than see them left behind or returned. You were notified immediately.
You later described this as “shocking” and advised you would not use us again. When asked directly what alternative you felt would have been better, you were unable to suggest one.
The cause of this situation was an incomplete address and no response to repeated contact attempts. Despite this, we ensured the goods reached your area rather than being delayed indefinitely. Most people would consider that a better outcome than no delivery at all.
We appreciate that collecting from a neighbour may not have been your preferred option — but given the circumstances, it was the only one available that guaranteed you would still receive what you ordered and most customers might accept responsibility and appreciate the efforts we went to in order to get the package to you.
The effort was obviously wasted on you and I think it's a great idea you won't be using us again :)
Interesting experience...
Delivery is very reliable and the packaging very good. Quality of the food is also good although as is the case so often these days the reliance on spices rather masks the ingredients. The ordering process & web site are utterly confusing & the way to replace an item with another I still havent fathomed!! Overall I shall persevere for a while - maybe its just me eh?

We use a wide range of herbs and spices across our meals to create a variety of flavours, each tailored to suit different tastes. We're really sorry to hear that these particular ones didn’t hit the mark for you. Of course, flavour is always a personal thing — and while the recipes have been designed to appeal to most people, we completely understand that they might not be to everyone’s palate.
As for the website — we’ve recently launched a new version and, overall, feedback has been really positive. But we’d really appreciate if you could share a little more detail about what you found difficult. The order process is now designed to guide you step by step, one question at a time, so you have full control over what you choose and when you receive it. That said, we’re always open to feedback and would love to improve wherever we can.
We aren't short on ways to get in touch. Instant WhatsApp messages, email, social media messaging on insta and FB, and of course phone line.
i can see you have a live subscription so I'd be happy to change any meals if you would like to let us know what you would like changing.
