Worst customer service ever
I have waited 2 months for my order. Can't reach a living, breathing person at Pier 1, just their Bot. The Bot told me I would be issued a store credit for $133.30 -- the amount of my order. What would I do with a store credit when they can't even send my original order?

Placed an order for a Christmas item back in December. The order never shipped. Have tried 3 times over the last two months to get help, but all I receive is the same generic response saying they'll get back to me. They never get back to me! Also tried the Chat option on their website- it's an automated program and is completely useless.

Pier One's customer service is deplorable
Pier One's customer service is deplorable, now that they are completely online. I ordered two pillows, never got a confirmation email or order number, then got two pillows that were completely different than what I ordered. I could have lived with this error and worked with the merchant, but there is no way to talk to a human being, and when I repeatedly sent emails to report the error, I received absolutely no response, aside from an automated email that said, in effect, "we're super busy, and will get back to you." Which, as I said, no one at Pier One ever did. I would NEVER deal with them again, and suggest that no one else should either.

Order in Nov still not received. It’s impossible to talk to or get a response from anyone despite sending multiple message into their support ticketing system.
Cannot Unsubscribe!
Suddenly, I have begun receiving daily emails from Pier 1 Imports. I have not purchased anything from Pier 1 in at least two years. I have tried to unsubscribe but the link is not working. The email does not accept return emails and may not even be valid. I would not purchase anything from the site or company online.

Ordered some discounted Christmas items the day after Christmas from different sites including Pier one. I received all the items except from Pier one. I sent email after email asking about the item. I kept getting an automated email that they would respond soon. I NEVER received any response. I then started looking at reviews and saw this was happening to others. I disputed the charge with my Credit card company and I just received a letter from my credit card company that after their investigation the credit card company was refunding the charge. Based on the umbrella of companies this online Pier One website is associated with and the story behind the funding after Pier One shut its retail stores, I don't think it will last. It's my opinion that a bankruptcy is coming soon and I would advise everyone that bought something to dispute with their CC companies before its too late to get your money back.

This company probably is on the verge of bankruptcy. We’re one of their suppliers, they haven’t paid us since last August. We stopped ship for them. According to their website they don’t do refund, the customers who have a pending order with us haven’t get any money back yet. They are on our collection agency’s list. If you want to place a order on their website, make sure if you can get a refund if they can’t ship your order.
Really bad
Really bad. I spent so much money at Pier1 over the years. It was my fave store to wander around in. Anyway, my local Pier1 store closed down a few years ago. But I saw that they are still on line and my favorite candle was available so I bought two. They were in really pretty glass canisters. One arrived damaged and I called customer service to ask how to get a replacement. The recording said they were too busy to answer calls, so go online and request support. They wanted a picture of the damaged product and the shipping box. Fine. Did that. It’s been over a week and no reply. Am I supposed to keep the box and the damaged glass for the rest of my life until they respond? From what I see on line, they will never respond. Funny thing I found the exact same Pier1 brand candle on Amazon so bought one to replace my broken one. Obviously if it arrived broken, I know Amazon would rectify the situation ASAP. So I threw away the damaged glass and boxes and will never, ever purchase anything directly from Pier1 again.

Order was placed on December 27, 2022 for 4 sale items. Received 2 items and nothing else. Tried to contact them 3 times but never responded to my emails. Took my money for all 4 items but only mailed 2 items.Will never shop with them again!!!

I placed an order in November and still haven’t received it. Yet they’re advertising like crazy… I’ve ordered from the app before and one other time I had an issue which they fixed. This time I am having my doubts!

Placed an order 11/25/22. On 12/03 I received an email with some info saying it is delayed. No idea when it will be ready. On 12/12 I contacted via email to inquire and got an automatic reply saying they’re BUSY!! Bull! Still no reply by 12/22 so I contacted my credit card and filed a dispute. Never will I order from them again.

I placed an order online on 11/30/2022. I have not received any shipping updates nor I have I received my order. I have tried to contact customer service but all I get is Polly. I have sent emails and messages and no one is getting back to me. Pier 1 online provides poor customer service.

Like other reviews, I ordered an item on November 4, 2022. I have yet to receive it. My contact with customer service assures me that my purchase is in the warehouse but due to logistical issues it is taking longer than usual. I have been offered the chance to select another item, but there is no guarantee that I will receive that in a timely manner. Yet I get holiday promotional ads every day...

I have ordered several items from this company and now for the third time noticed they took out payment but my items still haven't shipped. They should not be able to get payment until at least the items are ready to ship. This is the last time I will order from them. And customer service is a joke.
